Had a nice birthday dinner on a week night, food was great except one plate of Skirts on Fire was much spicier than the other so consistency was a problem.

Having been to IG many times, I have experienced a steady downturn in the quality of the food. I ordered the special Seabass on polenta. It was pricey and beautifully plated. But every bite was bland, overcooked, and disappointing. Deborah Scott left here long ago and it's obvious. My son and his wife had tacos and bimimbap respectively. They reported the same thing. If the chef isn't going to season anything, please have salt on the table for us!

I love the unique blend of flavors in every dish. It's comfort food with a twist. There are so many interesting options that its fun to taste several entrees by sharing with friends. The patio has a cozy atmosphere.

Food was not nearly as good as many other times. .shark tacos burnt, asked for sauce on side and didn't happen..waited a long time for food so couldn't send back, plus he didn't check on us..dessert was great..cheesecake thing. Very disappointing. .used to be our favorite place.

Great modern funky spanish food. The hummus board was my favorite part. Server was great and helpful with menu choices, order family style and I do recommend doing that. Bacon wrapped filet was great.

We arrived on time for our reservation. After being seated it took 45 minutes to get water and drinks were even slower to arrive. We had to seek out the waitstaff to get any service at all. The food was only so so.

Food was good as always. However, our server started out great but then disappeared. After the food runner brought our food, we didn't see our server again. Even though we had intended to order more than appetizers, by the time she returned, 15 or so minutes after we finished our food we decided it just wasn't worth the wait anymore.

We ate off the small plates menu, the hummus was out of this world! The clams and mussels were ok, a bit small but the sauce it was prepared in was delicious and decandent. I wanted to scrape the bowl of all the goodness. The outdoor area was cute with latin music on low in the background.

I really enjoyed the indigo Grill for dinner. I initially booked another restaurant but then took a nap and slept through my early reservation time. After looking at a few of the restaurants we booked this place and thoroughly enjoyed the samer of kebabs that were cooked to perfection using high-quality meats

I have been coming to Indigo Grill for years. I discovered it after seeing Chef Deborah Scott on a local television show and found her menu to be very interesting and I was not disappointed. I recommend the pipian crusted brie with jalapeno jelly and honey roasted garlic to start. The flavors are incredible and the jelly is addicting. For the main course I strongly recommend the hickory smoked pork ribs with morita-espresso glaze are so tender and the meat literally falls off the bones. The flavor is so intense with just a slight hint of heat. The shaved pear & walnut salad is very refreshing and adds a nice balance to the ribs. The best part, however, is the indian corn pudding, I could make a meal of it all by itself. The pudding is so moist and has a layer of spicy cheese on top that has just a touch of heat and gives the pudding such a fantastic flavor. It is a must try dish. Indigo Grill is well worth the visit. The ambiance has a rustic charm and the service is always great.

Indigo Grill, as always, was wonderful. Sunday night seemed to be a quieter night so if you are looking for a less "vibrant" atmosphere you might consider that. Catch of the day, Sea bass was fabulous as was the salmon. Those who had the spinach pasta with mushroom were delighted as well. Good service, interesting menu for all levels of appetite. Parking can be a bit challenging in Little Italy.

Food was delish of course and very creative and the waitreses were great as well. What we did not enjoy was the lack of room on the patio. We felt packed in like sardines and uncomfortable. The waitresses kept squeezing in between our tables to serve and bumping us an butts were literally in our faces. Not the waitresses fault at all, again they were great. Ordered the mussels and clams which were so good and came out right away, the only other thing we ordered was 2 enchiladas and those took over an hour and we neded up being late for our comedy show. I would give IG another shot but would only if we could get more room.

This is my first bad experience at any Deborah Scott/CRG restaurant. I haven't been to Indigo Grill in several years and was expecting a different menu and vibe than what I found. The food was acceptable, but highly reminiscent of Coasterra, not the unique Native American flavors I anticipated. My complaint is not with the food, but with the handling of my reservation. We arrived early and were told our table would be ready around our reservation time. That's fine. 15 minutes after our reservation time, still no table. We had been offered a table right by the door at our reservation time, but we opted to wait. We finally accepted the crappy, high traffic table by the door, hostess stand and restrooms because two of our group had a flight to catch and we couldn't wait much longer. The manager apologized, but said there was nothing they could do, no other tables available, they were accepting no walk ins so that wasn't the issue and they were very sorry. If only that were true...while we sat within earshot of the hostess stand, we heard at least 3 other groups told their tables weren't ready because other diners had not left yet, meanwhile seeing numerous groups of walk-ins seated. I don't know who is managing the reservation operation, but it needs a reboot. It's bad enough to not get what you reserved, but to be lied to and then see that it's a pattern, not a unique occurrence has permanently taken Indigo Grill off my list.

I made reservations at the recommendation of a local (foodie) friend who is going to hear it from me! I actually sent the ceviche back, it tasted like bathroom disinfectant. There was an attempt at a Latin-Asian fusion that was POORLY executed and ruined some decent potential. The steak kabobs was cafeteria grade meat that was nearly inedible. On the plus side the shrimp and tamales were good (bathed in cream sauce as it were). Overall the food made me angry that I had wasted a meal in SD, the service was decent but nothing inspired, and it's obvious this is another corporate owned restaurant with no leadership at the top and no one on staff who's been inspired by leadership to care. Too bad. Leadership - if you're out there, you better step up your game.

We went for "date night" where they had two entrees and a bottle of wine for $40. The food was so amazing. Fresh, clean eating and amazing flavor. Wine was great. Service was impeccable and friendly. Ambiance was perfect- we sat on the patio under Christmas string lights where it was perfect for people watching and conversation. Will definitely be returning.

I just wish the restaurant owners would discontinue the separate line item 3% surcharge to cover the minimum wage increases. I find this really offensive, and my reaction is to reduce the tip by an equal amount. If the cost of doing business goes up, maybe the cost of the meal should too, but don't make this look like it's not just an increase in the cost of living.

My boyfriend and I came here for a date. I have celiac disease and eating out is really difficult. Indigo Grill had a great gluten free menu, although I wish they offered more vegetarian/vegan options for the celiac people. Besides that, service was great and the cocktails were amazing.
