Oh my gosh, the food was so delicious. We did the Sunday special and absolutely loved it. The manager, Sabrina took amazing care of us and helped to ensure every detail of our date was perfect. Hands down, I’d recommend this place to anyone and I can’t wait to go back.
One of San Diego’s best
Very creative and inspiring
Great job Debra Scott
Indigo Grill is one of my favorite restaurants. We went there for my birthday this past week and we all had a great time and enjoyed our food. The only thing of concern was the heat on the patio when we first arrived. We sat on the patio next to the fire pit. The heating lamps were on and it was extremely hot at first but we had our wait person turn off the first 2 overhead heating units and everything was fine after that. But man it was very very hot at 1st and our male friends were sweating. I'm I'm coming back to have the salmon because my friend's salmon was delicious!
Such good food! Had a three course meal and all courses were SO good! Great vibe and music!
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful night out at indigo grill, the workers were very friendly and quick to greet us. Our waitress was super helpful with the menu because we weren’t familiar with any of the items. She checked up on us frequently. We sat outside by the firepit which was really cool. The food we had was different from what we usually eat but it was amazing! We will definitely be coming back again
It Valentine’s Day and my Birthday so I wanted a s
My husband and I went to Indigo Grill because we had heard about it from some of our friends. They advertised a Tuesday Date Night special which is what we ended up getting. Awesome service from the moment we stepped in. I was able to make a reservation online through Google/OpenTable and they called to confirm the reservation. Our waitress was so professional and really served us beyond expectation. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was absolutely beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat. The food itself was so uniques and so tasty. It was definitely very special and not something you could get at another restaurant. They had a great wine selection as well and I can't wait to go back!
Great food as always. Glad to share it with someone new to town.
The pipian crusted brie is so amazing!
Good things growing is always a fave!
Churros for dessert - no one else does them like this!
My husband and I made reservation to celebrate an early valentine's day dinner. We were seated outside in the patio with the heaters. It was quite nice. We ordered an appetizer (the brie) and two entrees. We both loved our dishes as the food was amazing! Our service was excellent as well. We left the restaurant deciding we should come back soon. Thank you Indigo Grill for making our night great.
We had a great server. We had their house carnita tacos, very good.
Not so good were the small margaritas with way too much ice.... Maybe a 4 oz. Drink! Stick with the beer, I guess.
It was a night though..
We took a group of our collegues out to dinner here and had a great meal- we enjoyed house margaratias and wine. The menu was electic- I loved my latin fusion bibimpop while others had the filet, salt and pepper shrimp, grilled salmon and a variety of tacos. Service was excellent, as was the live music.
I was slightly disappointed that my filet mignon was over charred and burnt. But dessert as always was amazing. My husband’s filet turned out amazing and he loved it.
As always the food was great, the service attentive and friendly and the dinner was enjoyable.
That is what we always expect here and what we always receive and why we come back every time we are in town.
We went to use our passport card. And we had the most delightful server. We sat on the patio and were quite comfortable. We ordered the fillet mignon and it was like butter. I must say I haven’t been to Indigo Grill in quite a while and this was a delightful evening
This used to be a great restaurant but now the prices are double and the quality compromised. E.g. their famed "good things growing" dish is now reduced to a skewer with 2 small mushrooms + 2 tofu pieces, a couple of hot green peppers stuffed with cheese, arugula side salad (which does not go well with the dish) and a bowl of sweet corn pudding(!). Where are the grilled plantains, potatos and different roots they once had?
Food is the best in San Diego. Very unusual and creative dishes with wonderfully complementing flavors. The mediocre San Diego restaurant reputation wouldn't exist if more were like Indigo.
We love Indigo Grill and have always made it our special occasion restaurant. This time we went for restaurant week and I was a bit disappointed . I ordered the pineapple martini and it was just ok .Not much flavor...lacking of pineapple and alcohol. My meal had to be modified GF and maybe that took away from the specialties of the dish. I had the prailine cheesecake for dessert and I was really surprised that the cheesecake filling was not cold. Cheesecakes usually taste good when it is really cold but this one seemed like it had been left out of the fridge for a while. My husband did love his meal though! Next time I will go back to my usual dish.
Fabulous location and great food but. Menu is unique to the Little Italy, great drinks and the prices are very reasonable especially for downtown. But most of all friendly staff. I have a puppy and they are one of the most dog friendliest restaurants in Little Italy. It is by far one of my dogs favorite stop. They are welcoming, great service
Great food, great menu. A little disappointed with the hostess though, she was unrealistic with our wait time which started our dinner on a sour note. Our waitress was great, she turned our frowns upside down!
One if my favorite spots in SD, we now live in north county so try to get downtown as often as possible and always enjoy Indigo Grilk!!
