Amazing cuissine the options for the holiday Thanksgiving was incredible and delicious
Table not available for reservation. 15 minute wait. Room temp very low. Coat required. Food excellent. Service excellent. All employees very friendly.
A great location with friendly service. The salt and pepper shrimp appetizer was really amazing. Rosemary margarita hit the spot. The wedge salad was wilting a bit. The tortilla soup was a bit salty, but they reimbursed us for it. The ambience was fun. Seems like a good spot for a group of friends gathering for a night of quality food and beverage. Not a destination for fine dining, particularly, but a nice hang out.
I love this restaurant.... Food is creative and delicious. The "good things growing" vegetarian dish is my favorite vegetarian dish I've had and the butternut squash soup is soooo flavorful and fantastic. Service was great, and everyone in our party was thrilled with their meals. They even put together super nice kids meals with corn dogs and fruit that my boys loved.
Brie app was amazing!
Buen ambiente y la comida normal nada espectacular
Great food. Had skirt steak, salad, and dessert with two rounds of drinks. We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.
Our drink order was a little late ( people arrived after us served first) and the dessert was different than what we ordered and was corrected.
Food was terrific and think it was maybe an off night for the waitress because we have dined here before and not had these issues
Tepid food, bad service, it's understaffed by at least half. Sad to see how far this once great place has fallen. It's been on a downward trajectory for many years and has finally reached a place where I'd never go there.
We have come to this restaurant every year when in San Diego for the past 8 yrs or more. It was always a favorite, but something changed last year or the year before when they remolded. I made a reservation several weeks ago to celebrate my husband's birthday. When we arrived 5 minutes early, we were greated with "you are early". We were then taken to an enclosed patio area with very uncomfortable seating and the noise level was unbearable. My husband used to order a spicy margarita which had chilies on the rim which was taken off the menu several years ago and he asked if they could make something similar and what they brought was horrible - loaded with salt. The menu is so limiting now that I ordered a salad that had grilled cheese. When it arrived it looked like they poured melted cheese on top. After I requested bread 2 times I was able to eat it and it turned out to be ok. The service and food was very disappointing. We always looked so forward to coming here, but will never return.
Lovely evening on their partially enclosed outdoor patio. Fabulous service and the food was delicious too! We had the pork ribs and a arugula salad with crisp apple slices...Then our waiter brought out a GF praline with cheesecake filling dessert that was specially prepared for my birthday. 😀👌🏻
With my wife for a Tuesday Date Night. Everything was great!
Went out with my boyfriend and a friend and loved the food and the service. I was celebrating my birthday and at the end they gave me a special treat saying happy birthday.
Delicious food presented with flare. Attentive service & beautiful, comfortable atmosphere. Loved our dinner & a show night!
They add a 4% charge to every check without letting the guests know about it.
That isn't right, it is just an extra 4% profit for the restaurant.
As usual the food was outstanding and the service excellent. We sat out on the patio and people watched for entertainment while enjoying out dinner. Indigo grill is one of our favorite places to eat in San Diego and never disappoints.
Fantastic as usual and we so love dining here! Bone in rib-eye is by far the best ever!
Absolutely great! The food was so amazing & nicely presented. Everything was so flavorful without being over done. Loved the Butternut Squash Soup and the blueberry sauce on the cheesecake - divine!
Overall experience was excellent from the greeting at the entrance, to the service and food!
The food was delicious! Their bibimbap is my mom's favorite, and she tries to have it whenever she visits. I had plank salmon, which was delicious. The grilled romaine is amazing. Only one dish in our party was just okay--Cauliflower al pastor. The cauliflower could have been cooked more, and everything needed more seasoning. The cocktails are outstanding. I love the decor and ambiance in this restaurant. The server was very personable.
Everything was delicious! The Bone-In Ribeye special was amazing, along with the cornbread tamale with shrimp. Beef Anticucho Board was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!
Really good deals and great food, plus we had a really awesome waitress
Great time and service with good food and friends. Nice neighborhood to walk and explore afterwards. The appetizers were fabulous!!
I went for restaurant week and I had the trout... I have no idea why they charge so much for the trout on their regular menu-- the taste was bland the portions were huge, and I was just full and not satisfied at the end of the day.
Went to Indigo for the restaurant week, my husband and I loved it, his meat was delicious!!!!! We liked the entrés, I didn’t like to much the spaghetti in my plate with the salmon...
great service!!! Definitely going back!!
We , party of6, ate here during Restaurant week , food was disappointing. No plans to go back.
Austin was amazing and we look forward to seeing him at De's Hideaway! our waitress was great as well but unfortunately I didn't catch her name!
My only complaint is that I didn't realize I have to click to get points for my reservation so I missed out on those!
Happy hour has many unique appetizers at very good prices. We had to continually track down our waitress however, who never checked back to see if we wanted any additional menu items or drinks, it became tiresome, especially since the restaurant was only about 25% full
Not what we expected service messed up our order twice took us an hour to get the main entrée . Surprisingly overrated
Indigo is a beautiful restaurant, the manger and hostess which sat us where very friendly and nice. We had the sangria which was good, I had a chicken dish which had good flavor but was very dry, my date had the trout which was good but under salted.
Our waitress took our order, a food runner brought us our food, we didn't see our waitress for about another 40 minutes when she asked if we would like the bill. She didn't even ask if everything was alright, never asked if we needed change since we paid with cash.
So in the end the so so food coupled with the very under-whelming service convinced us that was why it was so dead on a Friday night at 8pm, though the space is really beautiful and in the middle of Little Italy.
My husband and I came for dinner and a last hoorah as I’m 9 months preggo! Our waitress Lindsay was exceptional, very knowledgeable, helpful with food as well as drink recommendations. The patio seating was perfect, quiet but still vibrant. Overall made for a great date night and we’d love to come back.
I remembered it differently from previous experience
The food options were less than before
Not enough appetizers
The host was quite gracious
Not impressed by the food, service, or value. Poor communication and knowledge of the menu, long waits when being seated and served despite having made a reservation and the restaurant being empty, and average food with high price tags.
It was a bit cheesy to offer us a blended cheesecake for our wedding anniversary and then we see we were charged for it! I never would have ordered that item! And the 4% add-on is also a bit cheesy!
Service was slow and restaurant wasn’t crowded. Not sure I would go back since there’s so many restaurants to choose from in that area.
I always love going to Indigo Grill as you know you’ll get great service and the menu is so inventive and fresh. My only complaint is that I can’t get downtown often enough.
Eclectic menu, great location for people watching. Great staff.
The atmosphere and level of service was great. The Kung Pao Calamari has good flavor but the rest of our meal was bland.
Wow, what an delicious dinner..from our bacon wrapped filet and one Skirts of Fire steak we totally enjoyed our dinner. The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection.. The filet was so tender it felt like it melted in my mouth. The waitstaff were pleasant and accommodating. The menu is varied enough to keep anyone from vegan , vegetarian to us carnivores happy. We were eating dinner early in order to drive to Balboa Park and attend a play at the Old Globe so the restaurant was quiet, a rare treat for us. With the use of the parking garage a block away, parking was easy this time around.
Food was so good. Service was amazing. Vibes were hipster, classy, and chill. Totally Recommend!
The only flaw is that it’s hard to hear each other when talking. Everything else was wonderful
