I would recommend this restaurant but it has now closed.
We love this place. So sad to see them go.
We're going to miss Indigo Grill! Always great food and a wonderful dining experience.
I love Indigo Grill. It has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 15 years. I am sad to see it close.
Awesome. Sad its closing for is epically good.
Great. Great. Great.
Incredible chicken mole enchiladas and tortilla soup! Fun tequila and drink menu. We're definitely returning for those enchiladas.
Great food, great service, and another bit of culinary history we will miss. Thanks for the wonderful times!
Indigo has been a favorite of mine for many years, a real India Street treasure. I just wish it wasn't closing in 2 days! LOVE this place, but thank goodness Chef Deborah Scott is continuing on in other restaurants.
I will miss this restaurant as it will be closing on Sunday. The chef is innovative and has good fresh ideas. The prices have gotten a bit out of control for the average diner who would otherwise frequent the restaurant more often if it was a better value.
We loved this restaurant and are really going to miss it but our service was the worst and they really were not that busy! I was really disappointed but will
not let it spoil all the fun memories we had there !
Has always been a great fun place to eat for many years ,sorry to see them go..
It was super bowl So we can’t complain. The food and service were amaZing
Food was great as usual and our server was fabulous!! Sad to see the place close.
Sad to see this spot close. Thanks Chef Deb!
We are going to miss dining here!
I love the ambiance. The food is amazing
For my birthday dinner we decided to go to a place that was going to soon be closing. The Chef Deborah was super nice and it was very exciting meeting her ! The food though was over priced for the amount received, and drinks were bland and over watered. The place itself was very nice and quiet. Had a reservation but still had to wait 20 min for a table. Waiter, Nick was very attentive and polite. Will not be eating here again though. Spent $90 for 2 & we still went somewhere else after because we were still hungry but we’re no longer willing to pay a lot for a place that gave so little.
Constantly ignored by the waiter. Took approximately 35 minutes to get a soup and salad while tables around us, who ordered after us, received starters then entrees. If this place weren't already shutting down I would never go there again.
Came for restaurant week. Restaurant was very busy. Overall really liked the food, sad they are closing
We went for Restaurant Week. The food was fabulous and plentiful. The atmosphere was very fun and lively. Great service too. Will definitely go back!
Disappointing. Arrived just before our 8:15 reservation. We’re told they needed 5 more min. 10 min later we were told they were overbooked and put us at a high top in cocktail. It was awkward for our party of 3 because the tables have a shelf sticking up. It was difficult to have conversations.
Then we sat with no service for 10min. Ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The food came before the cocktails.
Once we got our second course, the waiter checked in an obnoxious amount.
I’ve heard great things about the place, but had a crappy experience. I can see why they are closing.
We were a group of four seated inside and seriously could not hear each other talk! We had to shout which got tiring pretty quick. The bar was backed up so waited quite awhile for our drinks. Noise level was through the roof, could not wait to leave. Took our desserts 'to-go'.
They are closing next week so there's no real point i. reviewing them. But the food was delicious. Problem was they were slammed w it being Restaurant week & it took like 45mins to be sat even though we had a reservation, and a Really long unreasonably amount of time to get our food.
Apparently, Indigo Grill will be closing soon. This is a good thing. The food was a big disappointment.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. Amazing food and cocktails without pretense.
Food & service was 💯 shame they are closing too soon!
This is my favorite restaurant! I am so sad they are closing!!
The taste of the food was spot on. The service was prompt, but not rushed.
I know Indigo grill is closing so kind of a mute point...but where's all the vegan options? It's 2020 ya'll...
The food wasn't bad, but nothing spectacular. If you're looking for a nicer dinner, there a number of other spots in San Diego that will offer higher quality food for the price. We still had a nice time, but likely won't dine there again.
Fantastic as usual!
Very nice ambiance and terrific service. We had lots of food restrictions and they accommodated us nicely.
As always, food is delicious and service is excellent.
I was told the Indigo Grill is closing, sad to see them go.
The happy hour shrimp were delicious! Unfortunately the steak in the shrimp & steak fajitas was tough and overcooked and the sauce was off. But we loved the mole enchiladas!
Our server Jacob was the best!!! Food was so so but my company made the dinner!
I always love indigo grill everytime we go. It's a great spot to go for happy hour before a Broadway show and grab delicious food and grest service
We went for their NYE dinner with a pre-fixe menu. The restaurant was only about half full. We arrived at 7:45pm and by 10pm we had still not even received our desserts and had to leave before they came. The slow service was inexcusable as the pre-fixe menu was all they were serving that night and we were one of only a couple parties in the restaurant. We were offered a full glass of champagne for our included toast (which was originally supposed to be just a pour) to make up for the unreasonable delays in service, however, the glass was clearly mostly sparkling cider (we had been drinking the glasses of champagne before this last glass was brought out and the taste difference was unmistakeable). Overall, it was a terrible experience for the price we paid - we didn't even receive all of the food and the compensation we were offered for the inconvenience was insulting with the glasses of sparkling cider. Will not be returning.
