Our first visit to this restaurant was outstanding. The food was pricey but very good. My wife wanted to go here for her birthday and was looking forward to it all week. We ordered the garlic shrimp appetizer. Not a hint of garlic and the shrimp, although large was cold and under cooked. My wife ordered the Shrimp and Scallops and I ordered the Duck (which is what I had on our previous visit and it was delicious). Since my wife placed her order before we got the appetizer, she wasn't aware of the under cooked shrimp issue, and sure enough, both the shrimp and scallops were cold and under cooked. $32.00 and she couldn't eat more half a shrimp and scallop. My duck plate was painfully small. There was uncooked fat and the rice was gummy. I know we should have complained, but I didn't want to ruin the night for my wife. We will not be returning.

Very small restaurant so noise level is pretty high, in part due to waiters loudly chatting among themselves. Brie in pastry appetizer was excellent as was carrot cake dessert. Strip steak good but not great - lots of gristle and too much sauce. Good NZ sauvignon blanc.

Indigo Crow is great. The fireplace, however, fills the room with almost choking smoke. Everything else is great.

We've been here several times and this was the most disappointing. The risotto was not as good as in the past and my friends dinner was too salty. My steak was overly charred on the outside. It was also very loud. Usually the food is very good with rare exceptions but this night was not good.
