Indigo Crow Ratings and Reviews
Indigo Crow never disappoints. Been going there for my birthday the last 3 years and it's always delicious. The Grilled Romaine salad is the perfect starter for sharing. We had the daily Special, which was a filet with jumbo shrimp on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. The filet was cooked perfectly and the potatoes had excellent flavor. I've also been to Indigo Crow with clients several times and they do a great job with larger parties. All of this quality and it's located in a beautiful relaxing setting! I'd rate it 10/10!
It was nice. Probably better had we sat outside. Alas it was windy and rather than eating/fighting our blowing hair we opt' d to sit inside. Inside it was harder to have an intimate conversation due to the noise level from other tables. The food was great and we did have a very nice time.
The service was excellent recently contrary to the last couple of visits when it was abysmal. They still need some visible supervision. The food was quite good and the new chef is to be congratulated. The inside is still insufferable. The owners must still be deaf as I have been coming for 13 years and have suggested a couple of ways the noise could be reduced. No luck, don't go in the winter for dinner.
As far as value in this area it has become quite expensive. Two modest dinners with wine and no dessert was $125 with tip. Decent competition such as Delish and Longhorn are about 30% less with comparable ambiance and food that is nearly as good.
We were there for Mother's Day. Food was marginal for the price. Our waiter went missing for about 20 minutes, never came to check on us once our food came, not even to refill water glasses.
Extremely disappointing meal for the price.
Usually an excellent experience, but not this time. Service was terrible - 7:30 reservation, starters were very quick but then over an hour until main course. Lamb was disgusting. Salmon was ok.
Would still recommend based on many prior visits.
When we got there it was a few minutes before out reservation time. I was under the impression they opened at 10:30 and had a 11:30 res. We wanted to sit out side and the table still hadn't been wiped down. There was dirt on it . Waitress did wipe it upon request. Food was good but wanted to have brunch but only lunch items were offered. This was the Sat before Moms day. I'm sure other tables were celebrating Moms day as well. Keep it in minbd for next yr
This was the worst experience my wife and I ever had dining. We showed up at 6:30pm. Our appetizer showed up 45 minutes later. Salad follow 45 minutes after that. We watched as other people who showed up after us were served before us. After a 1:50 minutes we had had it and paid for our appetizer and salad and drinks. We will never go back. This is the 2nd time.
Worst part of it all the waitress could have cared less. Didn't apologize, made excuses about Prom dates were causing the issue. Who is going to tip more, prom or a repeat customer?
This restaurant is a gem! We now live in Phoenix but made it a priority to dine at Indigo Crow when in town last weekend. The lobster ravioli and the sesame crusted tuna are two of our favorites and did not disappoint. It isn't a quiet romantic place, but who cares when the food is so good!
Our waiter ruined our brunch. I had to ask the busboy several times to get our waiter. He was outside most of the time talking to the hostess. He also never brought the water I asked for, and he never refilled our coffee. I finally asked the busboy again to get our waiter so I could pay, and found out he had left for his son's game. He did not tell us he was leaving, and another wait staff brought our check. She did offer us a free dessert which we refused (she was very nice). At that point we just wanted to get out of there. I do want to say the food was very good, but this waiter needs training.
We were seated inside near the kitchen. Between the noise from the chef's "order up" equivalent and a very noisy party inside, it was difficult to hear our own conversation. Next time, we will ask to be seated outside or in the bar both of which seemed much quieter. The food was excellent, however.
I will not go back to the Crow unless the weather permits outside dining. The noise level
is horrible!! We had to ask our table be moved away from a very noisy foursome. It is always bad there. Service was extremely slow almost two hours for our entrees and it was not crowded. Prices are high.Waitstaff were ok. did move us when we asked.
I love eating in Corrales but this needs to be addressed.
When I made my reservation through Open Table I asked for a quiet table in the back of the restaurant. We were seated right next to three people who were so loud we had to lean over the table to talk to each other and we still couldn't hear the other. I asked the hostess, who had a very sassy and unhelpful attitude, for a table in the other room, where I had originally requested through Open Table to be seated. There were a number of empty tables in that room. I requested to be seated at a table for four, which is the smallest they had in that room. I let her know that we could not hear each other at our table. She told us the only place they would seat us that was as far away from the noisy people as possible, was to put us at another table for two next to the kitchen. The restaurant was unwilling to move us to a quiet area where we could enjoy our special celebration because they were saving those tables for larger parties. Really? There were 4-6 empty tables in the other room and it was only 5:45 pm. I do not call this customer service and I will not be returning.
Food was amazing. Being from California, Orange County, we are used to fine dining with great food. We were not expecting too much being in Albuquerque (sorry to any Albuquerque'ens) but was blown away how good the food was. I had the duck and my wife had the filet, both items that you can get wrong in a hurry... cooked to perfection along with the accompaniments.
Service could have been better, however, it was a late seating on a Sunday, so wait staff probably wanted to finish up and go home. Would try this again on a more popular night to see if the food was just as good, and hope the service levels are better.
