Refurbished entirely in the summer of 2011, Bedford’s Indian Summer Restaurant and Lounge is one of the most contemporary and stylish restaurants in the busy town. It’s a relaxed restaurant with stylish surroundings and laid back, friendly but efficient and extremely professional service, providing guests with a comfortable space in which to unwind and enjoy the best of modern and traditional Indian cuisine prepared by hand in Indian Summer’s own kitchen. Dedicated to providing a truly authentic Indian dining experience, the Indian Summer team insist on using carefully selected ingredients, fresh herbs and spices and cooking dishes to order wherever possible. The variety on the menu here at the Indian Summer Restaurant and Lounge is outstanding, providing a range of favourite classical curry house style dishes, traditional regional recipes and chef’s specialties prepared with a creative and imaginative approach and unique combinations of ingredients.

Always great food here, having sampled nearly all the indian restaurants in Bedford, by far Indian Summer is the best. The service is second to none, always a friendly welcome and attentive service.

We were looking for somewhere quiet and good for our wedding anniversary. Had a lovely eve. Great food and attentive staff. Would defo go again.

A great venue to share a meal with friends. The staff are friendly and engaging, the food is delicious, and the general ambience is relaxed - a bit noisy when full of customers but not noisy enough to make conversation difficult. Tables are sensibly spaced so you don't feel cramped. Prices are very reasonable for great food.

First time visit here very lovely big rest very spacious indeed! Allowed privacy between diners. Food was average for an Indian but nice ESP the chicken tikka Biryani. The best was the spiced Indian tea perfect digestion! If we're passing again then we will defo be coming back to eat here. Staff were attentive and friendly. Thanks
