    Kharishma the maitre d was so welcoming professional and gracious. Our waiter shared insights about Indian cuisine and was very attentive. The sommelier was very informative. 👍🏽👏🏾

    Quality of waiters is poor Our waiter had no manners and didn’t take the interest to explain the food items on the menu nor answered any questions He kept looking into my phone that is absolutely pathetic

    Beautiful, creative flavors, with surprising delights. Blue cheese in Indian food? Yes! The overall experience however was noticeably marred by the noise level. It was difficult for our table of 4 to carry on a conversation without raised voices, which of course was everyone’s situation so all the voices were raised. Seats are upholstered but a restaurant this popular needs more soft surfaces. I may be an old curmudgeon but I am always amazed restaurants don’t pay more attention to this. Long ago I worked in a summer camp kitchen; our staff table was next to the dishwasher. Our most senior colleague took his plate outside because he grumbled that at the staff table it was too noisy to taste the food. How much more true for haut cuisine!

    An absolute delight. We eat Indian food from London to Los Angeles— and this is among the very best. Everything is well done. It’s one of my go to places in NYC
