Indian Accent
Indian Accent's menu reinterprets nostalgic Indian dishes with an openness towards global techniques and influences. Chef Manish Mehrotra highlights distinctly Indian flavors on a contemporary menu.

Amazing overall! Definitely recommend. Only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the manager coming up to us at the end of our meal as we were finishing our drinks to say we have guests waiting for tables and ushering us to leave. 6:30 reservation - I understand the 90 minute time limit but if we had two sips left in our cups at 8:05 he probably could’ve waited to say that to us.
So delicious! Will definitely continue to support this restaurant during the pandemic.
This is a classy, elegant dining experience. The food is delicious, service was top notch. Mask and safety noticeably prioritized!
They do have a 1.5 hour strict time limit at the table. I did not like this aspect of the experience as we spent over $300 on dining and $40 on parking and wanted to fully enjoy the evening. We ended up rushing through our dessert and never got the chance to order a nightcap. With that said, I would still go back but review the menu in advance and order as soon as u get seated
Horrible. This place was so different 2 years ago.
Great experience dining here. Very safe I these times. And truly amazing food.
I went to Indian Accent with a top chef from a famous chain, she also loved everything!
The best fusion Morden Indian restaurant in New York City.
Hosptality, Food, dessert, service, ambiance everything is outstanding.
I have been here so many times but it’s always an amazing experience.
Food very expensive, better naan at less well know restaurants for better value. The amuse bouche was good but there were no “friandises” (free stuff they give you with your desserts). So that didn’t seem to match other high
level restaurants. I unfortunately will not come back.
Amazing food and service. The restaurant follwed all the COVID-19 guidelines which made the experience feel very safe.
Jadoo
Waiter was amazing
The food is consistently wonderful. It is pricey for Indian fare, but this is not just your usual Indian cuisine. It is the most extraordinary. My favorites are the Shrimp, the ribs, the Pepper Chicken, the dumplings, the Butter Chicken Kulcha (bread) or the Wild mushroom Kulcha. The Creamy Dal is the best I have had outside of India. We started eating here every week just to help them get through Covid. We do not want to see them close.
All in all a lovely experience with some of the most outstanding Indian food I've ever eaten. (We dined in the New Delhi location last November, and were blown away by it, leading us to seek out the NYC location.) Highly, highly recommended. We dined outside due to Covid, so the ambiance and noise levels were what they were due to the fact that we were on the street. The food was extraordinary. We loved everything we ate and drank. The service was attentive, friendly and efficient. My husband told me that he saw a review online where the reviewer mentioned that the staff had kept reminding him to wear his mask when interacting with the staff, as a negative. For me, that is absolutely a positive, and would make me even more likely to dine here. We need to know that the restaurants we are entrusting with our health are taking it seriously, and in turn, we need to respect the rules that these places institute to protect their staff and other customers. Anyone who sees that as a negative is absolutely part of the problem and will contribute to the need to shut down again if it comes to that. Please, stay away if wearing a mask during your brief interactions with wait staff who are literally putting their lives on the line to serve you is too much to ask!
We were looking forward to dine at Indian Accent and were disappointed with their food quality.
Ghee roasted lamb that we ordered was shredded with no flavor or taste.
The dish came with 4 rumali roti the size of a 🍪
The appetizers we ordered were cold.
The restaurant needs to take this as a critique and we wish them the best.
These are trying times for restaurants and will visit them again after things are normal.
Everything was so perfect. Amazing experience. Would recommend this place to everyone. My fiancé is costa rican and I am Indian, i was soo worried about the food. But he was super happy and surprised with the food. The quality was great. He gave instant 10 out 10 marks.
We were soo happy. Thanks for making my birthday special🥰
The food was amazing but I think the price is a bit high for the size of the portion and i was not expecting huge portions but most of what we tried were appetizer size even but they had entree prize. Go if you are willing to pay for quality.
This was my fourth visit to Indian accent. Everything is so impeccable. I love the consistency of quality from the food, the service, the ambience. It’s absolutely remarkable!
The service was excellent and Richard probably the Manager was extremely generous and a pleasant person !! Must try the lamb and makhan malai !!
Great food. Great wine. Great service. No noise
Exceptional wine list from all around the world.
Cocktails were good
Our waitress was very helpful.
disappointed with the NY location..
been to the delhi one a couple times and it didnt match up those expectations.
We loved the service and food. It was outstanding.
We had a delightful safe lunch outside. The amuse bouche of pumpkin coconut shorba was one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life. It's available for takeout. All the dishes were good, with the doda barfi treacle tart for dessert another of my favorites. It was a balmy warm November day, so sitting outside in the open air was very enjoyable. The service is excellent - attentive, thoughtful, competent. The chef has unusual dishes - Indian accented and creative.
Indian Accent is one of our favorite restaurants to dine at. The service is always excellent. Mark is so sweet, and always greets us fondly. The food is simply exquisite! I am so glad I chose Indian Accent to celebrate my birthday with my parents. Can't wait to return there again soon! Thank you thank you for your warm hospitality, as always!
