Indian Accent is an excellent restaurant and I’ve eaten there several times. The service is always good, the food is extremely tasty, and although it’s a bit expensive, I think anyone who is looking for high quality and innovative Indian food would enjoy it.

Always a special place. Food remains outstanding, but one course (shrimp and cauliflower) was bland and the shrimp texture was mealy. Lamb with pancakes was a standout, as always, and keeps me coming back. Next time, I will skip the shrimp.

Having started brunch the quality of approach to dining was equal to dinner All food items served at once ! The course style was not adopted The butternut squash soup and blue cheese Nan missing A new item Kadai vegetable should be removed as it was just zhuchini squash and borocoloi and a little asparagus and the vegetables and gravy and taste had nothing resembling had Ai vegetable . In addition the vegetable was served without naan had to order separately So overall disappointed

The service could have been more better considering it’s supposedly a fine dining restaurant. We paid $300 for two people just for three course and two glasses of wine. My champagne finished but no one came to ask me if I’d like another one. The food is very small portion as expected in a fine dining restaurant but the service lacked. The dishes weren’t explained well to what was in it. The dessert came but we had a birthday and they didn’t even put a candle to even our dessert. I was so upset but couple minutes after the dessert was served they brought something with a candle which is okay. We chose the restaurant for experience and the service which we didn’t get because food wise there are way too many amazing Indian restaurants in NY.

Tasty food, very small portions, long wait for main course. Space is just a room, not appealing in any way. Service is impersonal. Everyone smiles a lot but they don't really take care of you. Our dishes were done long before anyone noticed, I spilled water, no one thought to get me a new knapkin, no one asked if we liked the food or needed another drink. Corporate service. The food is good, but it was kind of an offpotting experience.

The menu and the food was wonderful! Our UK friends who are Indian were very excited to try the Best Indian Chef's 3 Course Meal. It was an excellent experience all the way around!

Every time I come to this restaurant, it not only doesn’t disappoint but it exceeds the previous experience. This is the first time I came as a vegan and I was worried that I would not have the same experience as my fellow diners. I was wrong. The food was exquisite, the service attentive and helpful and the ambience allowed us to have a conversation without reading lips or being assaulted with loud music. I’ll be back soon!

We recently visited Indian Accent for the 5th time, which has been a go-to spot whenever we're in the area. However, I must admit that this time, our experience was quite unremarkable and fell short of our previous visits. Opting for the 4 course dinner - it was underwhelming, bland and failed to impress a lasting impression. The dishes lacked the innovation and flair that we had experienced in our previous visits. Service was still attentive and friendly, staff remained professional and accommodating.

My husband and I had the 4 course dinner and although I can’t recall the names of the dishes everything was scrumptious. The waiter was very patient in answering all my questions and the food was plated beautifully. We were in the city to see a show but would drive in just to have dinner at Accent.

Consistently among the best meals in New York City. Would love to try their sister restaurants in Delhi and, as of this year, Mumbai. It's a splurge to eat here, but just right for a special night out. We have become "regulars" (at least once or twice a year on a special occasion).

Did not live up to the Michelin guide hype. Menu items were not well explained by staff and while presentation was interesting, food was mediocre. The Doda Barfi tart and vanilla ice cream was the best thing we ate. Very expensive and not worth it.

My first time at Indian Accent in NY (after memorable visits in the New Delhi location), and it did not disappoint. The delicacy and vibrancy of the seasoning and inventiveness of the menu was a delight. The only misfires were the scallops that were fine, but did not match the elevated style and flavor of the other dishes, and the duck hoisin kulcha, which just tried to hard to harmonize two distinctive cuisines.

I have been to Indian accent many times. It’s always been a wonderful experience. There are couple of dishes, I will not order. Not because they are bad, because others I find more delicious and amazing. Overall great experience everytime I go there.
