Took my daughter for a pre-theater dinner. We were seated at 5:45 pm, and asked for our target departure time (7:30 pm). That was factored into our waiter’s menu recommendations, which were extraordinary. The service was attentive and quintessentially anticipatory. We enjoyed an unhurried dinner, left on time, and enjoyed a wonderful dance performance by the NYC Ballet, just around the block from this centrally located restaurant.
imaginative and impeccably tasty delicacies. remarkable range of options. high cost/ high value
Best meal of our lives including 3 & 4 M star restaurants
Outstanding
It was delicious, the atmosphere was superb, the service was outstanding. Will definitely be back as often as possible!
Spectacular! Second time there was as amazing as the first and brunch was reasonably priced for the amount of food. Not your typical Indian food. My family will be back but this time with friends. We try to eat at different restaurants while in NYC but this place is special.
Always great food and great service. We had a wonderful lunch all due to great recommendations from the staff. Each of us, which included some foodies and non-foodies , had a fantastic experience.
Nice place with space between tables.
Food was ok. Not amazing at all! A little bit disappointed.
Thanksgiving menu was not a good idea.
I was amazed at how well the traditional themed Thanksgiving food was done Indian style. Great drinks, fun wine pairing, perfection all around. See you next year!
Thanksgiving dinner! I’ve come here once before and I loved the food so I came back and brought my dad. Still a good experience but didn’t like the menu as much as the normal menu.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. The food is amazing. The service is excellent. Just really so good.
Best Indian food in the city, hands down.
We visited because the menu had a unique take on thanksgiving dinner. It was one of the best thanksgiving meals I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning to try the traditional menu. Thank you Indian Accent.
Thanksgiving
Outstanding. Our waited Andrew made the experience even more special. He was able to guide us toward the most amazing culinary experience!
Best meal we had in NYC on our 5 day trip. Food was so good. Cocktails and wine were great. Service was awesome.
Best Indian meal I’ve enjoyed in NYC
It was an amazing experience that blended the wonderful flavors of Indian cuisine we know with a new twist. A must try and also a fine dining experience
Everything on this menu is a work of art, as beautiful as it is delicious. Tried the Smoke and Spice cocktail for this first time. If you love Scotch from Islay, this is a must. We love this restaurant and top in every time we visit New York City.
Outstanding!
Amazing dining experience from start to finish. I had the vegetarian Chef Tasting Menu...fun flavors and combinations. Wonderful service.
Delicious! One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to and definitely the best Indian restaurant. Servers are so nice and helpful. Great experience and highly recommended!
As always the food here is just astonishing good. My last visit was marred by some dismissive behavior at the host stand that made me, and guests, feel unwelcome. But having visited again, I have to say from start to finish, excellent. You are warmly welcomed entering, bags discreetly taken, and let inside quickly away from the cold. My third guest was seated already and having a glass of wine, exactly how you want to meet guest visiting in NYC. Food was amazing and inventive. And one guest, asking excessive questions, was treated to as long an explanation as she wanted. Never a hint of needing to hurry away or boredom. Superb
My husband and I went here for our 1-year anniversary, and it was spectacular! A true feast for the senses. The food was so interesting, beautiful and delicious. I would definitely recommend. It was elegant.
Fantastic food as always (Lamb is not to be missed), innovative cocktails and white glove service that manages not to be overbearing...
Indian Accent is by far the best Indian restaurant we have been to. We did the lunch tasting menu and every dish was better than the last. The depth of flavor for every dish was beyond anything we have ever had before! The service was impeccable- knowledgeable and so friendly. The ONLY negative was the $24 we paid for our sodas. My husband and I each had 2 small glasses of Diet Coke. We understand NY prices, but when you can have a fabulous meal with the opportunity to have more of whatever entree we wanted at no extra cost for $55/person, $24 for sodas seems ironic. We will be back many, many times...and we'll have water.
Some of the most exceptional Indian food in the world.
Beautiful experience
Too noisy. Person on next table was literally shouting in our ear. Not expected from a fine finding restaurant where you spend 200 dollars per head.
They ran out of scallops and didn’t give us a choices. They simply gave us a large portion of Cornish hen in a Kerala masala which was good but we would have preferred to make another selection.
This was my 4th visit and 1st time enjoying the wine pairing menu. All courses and pairings were fantastic!
Always great service- great food.
See everyone soon!!!

Great tasting menu and attention to detail. We’ll be back
Excellent food and great service. Heard good things and it lived up!
Not just best Indian food I’ve had compared with fine Indian restaurants in London, but service is impeccable.
Took my husband here for his birthday it was amazing! From the moment you walk in. Worth every penny.
Exceptional in every way. Must try.
Amazing, innovative food. Rediscovered fine Indian cuisine.
Most over priced restaurant I have been to in a long time. Waiter expected you to have a degree in Indian cuisine and if you want to avoid dairy you are stuck with a 30.00 falafel. Hipster place that is a rip off.
We had the 10 course dinner. Each and every dish was piece of art. The taste, presentation and quality of food get 10 stars. For scotch fans, Smoke and spice is a must try!
In one word: spectacular. Imaginative menu, food, presentation, service, setting. Prices are reasonable for this area, around the corner from Carnegie Hall. Best Indian meal ever, and one of the best meals of any kind.
