The Indian Accent was outstanding, the food was so good I didn't want to leave. We had a great experience and look forward to returning.
Indian Accent never fails to impress! Everyone I have taken there absolutely loves it! It is so unique and delicious, the ambiance is modern and comfortable, and the drinks are well balanced and compliment the food. My only downside is that they got rid of their best dish and cocktail on their menu: the Neer More cocktail & the paneer ghee. That was disappointing. The servers could also be a little more engaging and charming for the price tag. But overall this is one of my favorite restaurants in New York.
great service, great food, great ambience; presents indian food in a great way. celebrated a family member's 60th birthday here and it did not disappoint - this place is a go-to for a lot of our special occassions!
One of the best meals I had after a very long time!
We love it here 🌺🍷
A pathetic attempt at Indian food. The naan’s, the bite sized Roomali roti’s were all half baked and raw. The quantities are bite sized whereas the prices are 5 times. Unsatisfied and unfulfilling meal since we were all still hungry after spending more than one would at an extremely high end place. The overall service was terrible and kept us waiting for over 45 mins before we had to call them to take out order for drinks and food. The staff was also not accommodating to the needs of an asthmatic client. Waste of time, money and the food was average and definitely not worth the price tag. Please go to a Michelin Star resturant and pay way less for better quality of food, service and overall experience.
I was expecting course dinner. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were informed that we have to finish our dinner in 90 minutes.
We went to Indian Accent for my wife’s birthday.
The outdoor dining experience was truly amazing
The food was excellent and the presentation matched it.
The Truffle Mushroom Kulcha, Potato Sphere chaat , Kerala Pepper Chicken and Makhan Malai were the highlights but all the food we tried was really flavorful and amazing.
Definitely would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Our server Andrew definitely deserves a special mention for making our night very memorable.
Ate al fresco due to pandemic, but it was still very pleasant
I wish you could experience the same Indian accent quality as the one in Delhi!
Did it live up to the hype?? Unfortunately due to the limited time (90 minute seating) and outdoor dining(loss of ambience), the verdict is NO.
I do believe the chef s tasting menu is the star of this restaurant and I shall wait for appropriate conditions that permit that.
The food at Indian Accent evokes tastes, memories and feelings that anyone can relate to and find comfort in. The culinary innovation takes you forward and the flavors that are loyal to its cultural roots simultaneously take you back. It is a delicate dance of old and new, past and present and one that I, as a first generation immigrant, can understand and appreciate. New York is rebuilding and I know that Indian Accent will be a part of that story. That is why it is the first and only place I have been to in the city during the pandemic in the place I call home.
The food and the service are very good. The main problems are the portions which are small and the prices which are exorbitant for the amount of food that you get.
Two of us brought our 2 friends (first-timers) to enjoy the amazingly flavorful Indian-influences cuisine and yummy cocktails. NYC only allows outdoor dining; our seating was well-situated and socially distanced. And the weather cooperated. We had an enjoyable evening and wonderfully delicious dining experience!
Great service and outstanding memorable flavors! Can’t wait to come back
We have been here several times but this time we went at lunch on Sat 3/14 during COVID-19. Given that Broadway was dark, the restaurant was very quiet. Despite this the staff were wonderful and extra careful about disinfecting the table multiple times. The food was awfully good as well. I just hope this crisis pasts so all restaurants can get back in business.
Food good, service good, very noisy. We made reservations almost one month ahead but when we arrived they gave us a table just next to the front door next to the bar by a table of drinkers making a lot of noise. They moved us to a different table a bit better. I would recommend this to a friend looking for Indian food in NY , or a vegetarian.
Always a good experience, I love coming back to this friendly and top notch place
We went for lunch and our server was never clear on what we can have . I asked if we can share the tasting menu , he was not very clear and then said you will have to buy separate . The whole idea of upscale restaurants is the experience and we were never asked even once how our food was . The ambience and presentation is amazing . I don’t think the price is justified
Food was lovely, but waited almost 20mins to get our first drinks & had to ask twice!
The food is excellent: both well-prepared and extremely interesting. Not at all “typical” Indian dining. Service was impeccable. Altogether a wonderful experience.
Best Indian Restaurant in NYC.Its a treat to be at this location.
