Love this restaurant. Lots of food to choose from. I prefer the non-spicy food. But some of the sauces were rather spicy. The waiter was fantastic. Everything was great.
Great restaurant- they offer a nice buffet with several options to try a little of everything.
The food was terrific and a variety to choose from, at least 10 entrees , some with only vegetables and some with meat (chicken and goat), and 3 desserts (all very yummy). Some entrees were spicy but not overly hot. Then they give your table your own chicken tandoori and naan! The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and go back. Be prepared to be completely stuffed (and have no room for dinner)! $3 less Mon-Thurs so go then!
Food was extremely underwhelming. It wasn’t but definitely nothing memorable.
Really an amazing experience, Food had genuine flavour and portions were good. The presentation was also nice :)
A little pricey, but worth the extra dollar spent.
One of my favorite Indian restaurants. They have a great selection of vegetarian and meat dishes to choose from the menu, or from the lunch/brunch buffet. I highly recommend.
Half decent curry poor service from our waiter named Steve...knew Bugger all about curry and was very unfriendly and unhelpful
Have been here frequently over the past couple of years as it’s our local Indian. Food remains good but the service has declined dramatically with inexperienced staff who really know nothing about Indian cuisine or dining experience. Disappointing.
Classy high end atmosphere. Delicious for vegetarians and carnivores. Great service. Looking forward to next visit.
Delicious and authentic. Highly recommend!
Phenomenal food and wonderful atmosphere. Quick and attentive service. I left full, happy, and very pleased with the decision to come in!
Great dishes, really liked the goat and some of the naan. I'd like to see them expand their beer list a bit, and maybe sharpen up their cocktail choices, but they have decent options, and we really enjoyed all the dishes which were easy to share.
For most cuisines, I don't expect to instruct the chef on spice level, but it is customary to have some option with spice level in Indian cuisine. My husband's lamb had very little flavor other than hot. Overall, the food was good, but my husband ate very little of his lamb, and he typically is fine with hot food. Either the dishes need to be described if very hot, or an option given to choose.
Have been to this restaurant before and loved it. This time was not so good. I asked for mild spiciness on my meal, but what came was far from mild. Even my friends who like spicy meals thought it was very hot. When I mentioned it to the server, she said nothing. A few times people tried to take plates away while we were still eating. Overall just mediocre. This was a birthday celebration and we were all disappointed.
Great Indian Food, it's pricey indeed but the taste is quite authentic.
Great food!!! A wonderful experience
Food portions are getting smaller and smaller here but, the prices are increasing. Wasn't the same as past experiences and has been declining for 2 years now.
Not to include they sat us in a back room corner where it was extremely cold. Once we complained they then was able to increase the temperature so that was one problem solved but, maybe too little too late.
Food was very good but the bartender didn’t know anything about bartending. Didn’t know gin from vodka , what was a white wine vs red. Kind of comical
We loved it! We plan to be back again and again.
Excellent food and ambiance! A definite repeat!!
The food and the service was amazing!!
Wonderful Indian buffet which allows one to experience many wonderful flavors
The food here was so good. The waiter was super knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. I was especially impressed that all of the Curry’s contained white meat and when I asked if they had korma he said it’s not on the menu but they can make it up no problem and they even cooked it spicier than normal for me. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food and great prices for lunch. Go in hungry and leave feeling super full for hours. The deserts are also super delicious. I came here one time for a business lunch and now I come here almost 2 times a month.
I’m not typically a fan of Indian food but it’s my husband’s favorite cuisine. India house is beyond delicious and has gotten me to love and crave Indian food now. Very nice and professional servers.
The food was not as good as it used to be. Meats were excessively dry; seasoning in general was aggressive. The service was horrible.
Always a hit with anyone I take there. Great staff super selections of tasty food. My go to place for Indian food.
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and had a good time. The food was good, the service was good, and the restaurant is very nice and clean. Great downtown location north of the river.
The food was really good. The service was excellent. The cocktails were yummy. A nice place to go with family or friends. The noise level is just perfect. We will be returning soon.
Great buffet. Courteous service. 5 stars.
Very nice dinner. Our server had a lot of explanation of meine items with us and was very patient. Would definitely come back.
My go-to Indian spot in downtown Chicago. Never disappointed! Amazing food and the kindest, most helpful staff.
Delicious Indian food in a family-friendly setting. Not inexpensive but it delivers on quality and taste. We have eaten here many times and it is consistently good.
Food was cold. Server never came back to ask how’s food. Never go back again. Very bad service with cold food.
We tried India House last weekend, and I now believe it is the best Indian restaurant in Chicago. Extensive and varied menu, excellent service, and elegant decor for an Indian restaurant.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent recommendations from our server. Will be back!
The food looked good unfortunately most of my favorite dishes were made with nuts that I have serious allergy to
First time back after several years. Enjoyed our food. The noise level increased as the night went on. But all in all a good "dare night" with my husband.
