IndeBlue - Philadelphia
Indeblue is located in Philadelphia's vibrant Midtown Village and offers a full bar with an extensive wine, beer and cocktail list.
We look forward to your visit.
Food was solid-good experimentation with traditional dishes and spice combinations. Cocktail outstanding - chai good. Spinach chaat light and delicious. Saving a bit heavy handed on few other dishes - good flavor but left a meal that was all weight. Perhaps different if order chef led rounds? Would try again
Another fantastic meal(this time, it’s brunch) at IndeBlue. The warmest staff, delicious food and inviting atmosphere make it irresistible. Love, love, love this place
I ordered a vidaloo instead of the usual brunch on Sunday. Vidaloo is a spicy dish, but it was totally not spicy. The temperature of the food was lukewarm.
The food was between fine and good but I had better else where. My daughter ordered cheese dish it was ok.
My husband and I went for our 5 year anniversary and had an amazing time. Great food and great service.
We arrived a few minutes late but we were seated immediately. Our server was kind polite and very helpful. When we made the reservation we noted it was our anniversary. We appreciated the staff acknowledging our anniversary. The appetizers of spring rolls and crispy spinach salad were superb. The entrees were delicious. Our server inquired if we liked spicy prior to placing our entree order. The spice level was exactly what we expected, perfect to our liking. I had mobile a shrimp dish and my husband had the vindaloo. Dessert was excellent banana balls (unsure of name) with caramel ice cream. After dessert or server came back with another dessert of chocolate pudding and 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We appreciate all they did to acknowledge our anniversary. We loved everything from the food to the music to the ambiance. Everything was great!
Staff was very accommodating. The manager was involved in making sure everyone was enjoying their experience. They know how to make you feel welcome
Excellent Indian food. We went on a Friday at 6pm. Well located in Central Philly.
Food great. Enjoyed very much
Celebrating our anniversary at Indeblue was an exceptional experience. The food was so rich and beautifully seasoned. I must say that my favorite dish was the reinvented pork samosa rolls with mango and blue cheese. Heather, the owner, was so kind to us and made us feel right at home. Bennett, our waiter, was so passionate about the food and surprised us with an anniversary treat. Can't wait to come back soon!
The tasting menu was AMAZING!! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the fried spinach chaat. The samosas with curried chickpeas, lamb chops, chicken madras curry and curried sea bass were all incredible. Our server Bennett and my dining companions made the experience quite unforgettable. Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed!!
El lugar está muy bien decorado. La comida es muy buena y el servicio esmerado. Los vinos que ofrece la carta podría estar mejor
This was our first time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Everything from the food to the service was wonderful.
My server, Michael, was cordial, informative, and made
Recommendations, a couple of which I took. He was attentive without being overbearing. The manager also stopped by and asked if there was anything else I needed. No one called me a “guy” or asked me if I was “still working on that.” They took pride in running an upscale restaurant. It showed.
The food was very good: Not Rasika (DC) level excellent, but very well executed nonetheless.
I chose the Malai kofta. The dumplings were spot-on, with the flour, nuts, and cheese each discernible on the palate and visually. The sauce was a bit too cloying. The rice was also well done, with notes of citrus and nuts.
The Chaat I had as an appetizer with vegetable Samosas was a bit on the bland side, but very good and of lovely color and consistency.
I’d go again were I in the area. I seldom come to Philadelphia.
When I made the reservation I clicked on the box that said Anniversary, in addition to typing in that we were celebrating our anniversary, yet it was completely ignored. No candle with dessert or any mention of it by the staff!!
Seemed to be only one server taking orders for the entire restaurant!!
We were told that the spice level could be adjusted, as we do not like super spicy food, yet the lamb chops came out ridiculously hot!!
Manager came to the table and asked if everything was ok, I replied “eh, it was ok”. He said, “thank you” and walked away!!
Overall, very disappointed!!
Had a great time, our table did a blind tasting where our waiter chose all the menu items for us, he made fabulous selections. The food was tasty and service was excellent.
Just an amazing brunch! The food was amazing!
IndeBlue never fails to delight. My BF and I have been enjoying their wonderful cuisine since they opened in Collingswood, NJ many moons ago. Even the seasoned cashews on their cheese plate make you MMMMMMMMM!
Food was awesome!!!! Ambience was awesome!!!! Service was awesome!!!!
Not bad. I went with a friend during restaurant week at dinner time. The place was packed, but the restuarant seemed prepared because the food came out rather quickly. Our server was very fun and informed. However, the food itself couldve been a little better. The chicken marsala was a bit dry and the pumpkin ice cream had ice chips in it. The corn soup was a bit sweet for my liking, and so was the brocolli salad that came with the chicken marsala Everything else was good. I enjoyed the poutine and, despite the ice chips, the ice cream was delicious.
It was amazing! Not only was the food divine but the staff was so caring and attentive. It was mine and my friends birthday and they gave each of us a glass of champagne to celebrate and a free dessert. Incredible food service and ambiance!
Took my niece for a birthday lunch. It is becoming a bit of a tradition since she enjoyed it so much last year when we had lunch here. Her birthday comes during restaurant week and for the most part we ordered from the three course special menu. Everything was delicious but I particularly liked the Indeblu version of a shrimp taco, with shrimp that were crackly crisp and flavorful and a delicious sauce. It is an appetizer. I ordered the bread basket, which was not on the special menu. I order it because my niece can take the extras home to her son, who loves the bread. You can order a selection of condiments to go with the bread. There are generous portions of something a little spicy, a little sweet and a little coconutty.
We had a great waiter who, when asked, was able to make a perfect recommendation for adraft beer to go with the meal. Looking forward to my niece’s next birthday.
The service was impeccable. Everything was divine from the appetizer to the desert.
My first time there. First thing was the service--excellent! I was greeted promptly and seated even though my lunch partner had not arrived yet. Check-ins were frequent during the meal, water refilled frequently, questions answered, and everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable without being cloying or phony. Then the food--wow! It was varied and fresh and extremely well prepared and presented. Corn soup and crispy cauliflower was wonderful! Chicken tikka and paneer tika were really delicious, and the desserts (chocolate pot de creme and pumpkin ice cream) were extraordinary. We asked for a dinner menu and are planning a return visit as soon as we can.
Our server was fantastic, and even took photos for us! Loved the food, as always.
Great food and environment. I would recommend to everyone.
Energetic, vibrant restaurant that has placed an authentic Indian twist on its cuisine. The restaurant is small and easy to miss, but don't miss out on this neighborhood gem.
Went to IndeBlue on the recommendation of a friend, who says she still dreams of eating there. We were not disappointed. We happened to eat here during Restaurant Week, and the tasting menu was incredible. Hoping to visit again before we leave Philadelphia.
From appetizer to dessert the food was delicious. Our server was wonderful the drinks were great too!
I can’t wait to come back
Celebrated two birthdays and a wedding anniversary. One of our party was in a wheelchair; the manager and our waiter could not have been more attentive to her needs. As for the food, again, our waiter went out of his way to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Our party of six was very pleased with our experience at IndeBlue and are looking forward to returning.
I don't eat Indian food very often, but the cuisine at Indeblue was very good and I would definitely eat there again. The service was excellent. There were no issues with my reservation; in fact, the staff were very accommodating when I was 20 minutes late! There was only a small crowd during my meal in the middle of the day on a Monday.
Excellent spin on Indian Cuisine. I will be back!!!
It was good
It was nice. Nice cozy atmosphere that you can bring your family or your date to
The spicy chicken and waffles are to die for. My wife loved her chicken wrap and especially the fries that came with it. This was our first time here during brunch, we usually come in for dinner and get the tasting menu. We’ve now added this place to our brunch rotation.
It’s restaurant week, most restaurants will be busy and loud. Indeblue is a real gem. We came here for brunch and we had a great time. The endless mimosas are a great deal. The food is always delicious. If your looking for something creative and different this is your place though their traditional Indian dishes are also incredible!
We dined during Philly Restaurant Week. The menu include a number of interesting dishes. Food was super and our server, Michael, was excellent. Will definitely return.
The best brunch in the city! We came during Restaurant Week and even though it was very busy we were very impressed with the food and service. We will be back!
Always excellent! It was a little too noisy this time
Too slow. Very loud. Food and waiter great but not good enough to go back with that atmosphere. Not for us.
