Very exciting & stimulating experience for a first time being at Indeblue and getting some recommendations ~ thank you for a wonderful time and we look forward to experimenting in the future as well!
My husband and I went here for Valentine’s Day and the food was great. We both enjoyed the pepper soup and the paella was amazing. The service was outstanding and I definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be going back and taking some friends along.
IndeBlue is an absolute gem; one of those rare places where everything clicks and is consistently spot-on: the food, the people and service, the ambiance! We've been coming to IndeBlue for many years and as great as it has been, it only gets better! Josh —always a warm gracious host and our waiter, Bennet, —just superb! His knowledge and thoroughly engaging enthusiasm for the foods never disappoints. The entire operation runs so smoothly and evenly, that it makes for a meal/occasion to remember…and talk about!
The crispy spinach chaat —an absolute delight, the samundri —a unique and special dish! Time and again, inedible consitiantly excellent! And we're so glad they brought back the stuffed long hot peppers!
Great food, nice atmosphere. We did the chef tasting menu and portions were kind of small for the price. If this is a tapas place that's on me for not knowing. Overall enjoyed the experience. Definitely recommend to those who are fans of Indian food or want to try a few dishes.
Great food, went for my bday and hand a lot of fun. The staff was nice but they will ignore you if they are not assigned to your table, food came out fast and her out waitress was amazing!
IndeBlue never fails to impress. We went for our 5th Anniversary and did the tasting menu (which is our usual choice here). It was decadent the whole way through. We had our all time favorite, the Sea Bass Vindaloo and the Lamb Laal Maas, both of which were delicious. Highly recommend the scallop appetizer and the sampler for dessert- both the banana one and the chocolate one were to die for. Our server was attentive throughout the meal and they sent out a nice celebration surprise at the end.
Food tastes better than Barclay
We ordered a variety of veg plates. Everything was delicious. The only problem was that they brought 4 dishes at one time. Table for 2 was uncomfortably crowded. Also they forgot to bring the naan.
Amazing service and great food. The flavors are fresh and exciting, a modern twist on Indian cuisine. The bass is one of the best dishes I've ever experienced.
Excellent, enthusiastic service in a classy but reserved setting.
The wait staff made very helpful recommendations based on our preferences, and all of the dishes we tried had their own flavor profiles and unique aspects.
Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Thank you Bennet! Highly recommended, a real gem.
We had the tasting menu and were very satisfied. The server was very helpful, as was the entire staff.
Delicious food, great service. Restaurant was completely full so somewhat noisy, but the food made up for it.
We have always enjoyed IndeBlue, but it seems the food was even better than we had in the past.
Fantastic food , extremely tasty and wonderful waiter.
Great food, service and ambience. Will be back again!
The restaurant is narrow, and this increases the noise level, especially when there are dining groups of six or more. Noise has become a large problem in many restaurants these days.
Superb seasoning of each item ordered ---- eclectic Tandoor cooking with overtones of multi - cutural selections
The staff is attentive, efficient and helpful and makes you feel welcome. Everything we have tried is delicious and has a unique creative twist. We were going to the theater and staff enabled us to get there in comfortable time.
Always love coming to IndeBlue , staff is very welcoming and informative on the dishes, everything we try is always amazing. Any retired dishes that we really enjoyed they will try to make for you if no longer on the menu and they have all the ingredients. Can’t wait to go again.
Everything was great from start to finish. I was looking forward to an item that was on the restaurant week tasting menu. When it came time to order I realized I was a day late for restaurant week. When I explained to our server(Julie?) my mistake she went and asked the chef if he could make it, and he did. I could not have been happier. The dish was Kaju Mutter Paner and it was fabulous! Our server also helped my husband with his selection as he had never dined there before. He had a paella and love it. Portions were generous, and cost was very reasonable. We will be back soon. If I could rate this 10 stars I would.
IndeBlue was good the last time we ate there but was truly great this time. Bourbon cocktails delicious. Pork spring rolls and spinach chaat was 5 star. Chicken tandoori too spicy for my taste but my partner loved it. Goan paella spectacular.
This was our first time going to the restaurant and man ole man. That “Tasting menu” was well worth the price 45.00 per person. Our waitress ways a little scattered when taking orders. However overall her service was a B-. The food was delicious delicious delicious. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a reservation if you just show up you’ll definitely be turned away or be waiting a good 1-1&1/2 hours.
Was an excellent meal just noisy
Excellent food. Very sensitive to gluten free guest! Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent and creative menu!!! Best new restaurant we have discovered in a longtime. Fun atmosphere. We look forward to returning!
excellent food (love the spinach appetizer), nice music (traditional), warm atmosphere, staff was genuinely kind and elegant (TOP!)
will be back
Our waiter was so enthusiastic, sincere, helpful and simply superb!
The meal was excellent (though we missed those marvelous stuffed green peppers)! The shrimp encrusted salmon was just amazing and the halloumi dish so creative and delicious!
We are definitely coming back. Every dish was flavorful and well balanced. Our server was really pleasant even with the craziness of restaurant week and the whole team was cognizant of my food allergies. I appreciated my experience here from beginning to end.
Mediocre Indian food at best. Rather than having tandoori chicken cooked in sauce, my dish was just grilled chicken in a sauce. Not authentic at all and not as good as what I’ve gotten at buffets that are half the price. The dessert was good, but otherwise, I’ll pass.
I'm not even a fan of Indian food but everything on the menu was rich in flavor and absolutely delicious. It definitely changed my opinion of the cuisine.
Great Indian food, with very good service. The variety of choices fit our very different tastes.
Indeblue has an incredibly diverse menu and their chef is always willing to make modifications for allergies or preferences. The staff is wonderful and very informed about the menu. Indeblue is my #1 choice for Indian food in Philadelphia.
First experienced Indie Blue in Collingswood quite by accident. When the location closed I was so disappointed. I’ve been to the current location twice. The food is simply the best. I’ve tried other options but nothing compares. Will be back and highly recommend to those who was authentic Indian cuisine.
Attendant was quite impressive. The food wasn't fun..Not a bad place though
Attended during restaurant week. The crispy spinach chaat is the bomb! OMG it was ridiculously delicious! We also tried a kale salad. It to was good but a little spicy for my taste. I had the Dal Thali for the first time. It was spicy but the yogurt cucumber sauce balanced it out someI would get it again but ask if we could tone the heat down period. My husband and a friend of ours had the lamb stew which they thoroughly enjoyed. Our other guest had the vegetable dish which he also enjoyed. Our server was not only accommodating but also amazingly polite and professional. We will be returning. It was a great experience that everyone should experience!
Service was mediocre (but that seemed to be more on the kitchen and barstaff vs our overwhelmed waiter), and the cocktails were disappointing. The appetizers were great but the rest of the meal was just solid indian-nothing to make us go back again.
I went with my boyfriend for lunch during restaurant week. We had a great time. We ordered spinach chaati, fried cauliflower, spicy chicken and waffles and butter chicken. The food was delicious!
I can't wait to go back. The food was delicious. The menu was original. The chai tea, please try this.
Always good food and the service was great! Extra good deal going during restaurant week
