It was my friends birthday and we had an awesome time! The food was amazing and it’s so sad that they’re closed!
As usual the food and service was very good. Very sorry they are closing their Collingswood restaurant. They will be missed.
We used to live in Collingswood and ate at Indeblue several times a month. We have since moved 3 hours away and the indian food where we live is not the same. We came for the last time, it's so depressing that they are closing.please consider opening in Maryland.
We waited to long to try this restraunt. It was phenomenal! Our server knew the food and recommended the lamb chops and spinach appetizer. Both were full of flavor. Our serber told the were closing but that they have another location in Philadelphia. We've already made a reservation for the next week there.
The vegetable special was vegan and so good. The server was witty and made us laugh.
I had a baby shower here. So many memories. We came for 1 last meal before they close. It was delicious as always.
I've been a regular since they opened across the street.THe food is leagues above the other Indian restaurants in the area and I've been to them all (Indiya, Cross Culture, Palace of Asia, Monsoon). The specials are always so different than anything I've ever tasted anywhere. It's sad they are closing but thank goodness their other location is rught over the bridge in Philly. See you in Philly Indeblue.
I am so sad this restaurant is closing. There is the one in Phillie but it is not as convenient (parking issues) and more expensive. We have loved going here because it is so easy and good on the budget. It breaks my heart they are closing this one. They need to find another location.
IndeBlue Collingswood location just announced it is permanently closing (although their Philly spot will remain open). I've raved about this place for years in Yelp and Trip Advisor, so when I heard the news of them closing their doors, I quickly made reservations for lunch. And I can honestly say it was not memorable. The dining room seemed understaffed, so I expected to wait a little longer for our food, but one of the two gentleman serving really acted as though it was his last day. He rushed us through the order, walked away as we were still speaking, and forgot simple things, like bringing pepper or refilling water. The soup came out luke warm, and two of my favorite Thali accompaniments were runny and lacked flavor. The vibe made me sad, as you could tell they weren't trying to leave a lasting impression. Unfortunately with hot spots like Indiya in town, I won't make the trip to Philly for my favorite Indian - I think IndeBlue gave up too soon.
Another excellent meal. Very sad Indie Blue is closing
The service was excellent considering they probably knew the restaurant was closing. So disappointed, one of the best in SJ.
My Husband and I along with our family are regulars. We absolutely love your restaurant, and for anyone how is looking for a great authentic Indian cuisine Indie Blue is a great place.
Our all time local favorite. We like to cook a lot and are often let down by other restaurants. Frequently the food at other restaurants is good, but not great. We end up thinking we could have done it better ourselves. Going out to eat became more of a convenience than a thing to look forward to and anticipate. IndeBlue changes all of that. Everything on the menu is delicious. Over and over, IndeBlue is the only restaurant that we consistently leave thinking, "Yes, that was worth paying for." The variety and blends of flavors kept us coming back to this neighborhood gem for all of our special occasions, celebrations, or just-because dinners.
For a prime time reservation on a Saturday night at a well rated restaurant, I expected more out of the service. Staff seemed indifferent and not very knowledgeable. This is my second time dining here in the last few months, and I had a similar experience before, however our server was at least very attentive. The special goat appetizer was very good, and the rest of the food was well received. None of the dishes stood out, but they did not disappoint. The service was really the only downside.
The food wonderful as always as was the service. As a Birthday surprise the waitress brought a fantastic dessert. Overall, a wonderful dinner
the best Indian food ever. restaurant nice cozy atmosphere, and great service. it's a must to go And try it! try it once and you are hooked!
food and specials are always great and consistently great!
We shared our apps and meals and everything was outstanding. The spinach app is not to be missed (even my 91 yr old non spinach lover loved it). Great service too. We sat for quite awhile reminiscing after dinner and appreciated the staff's patience with us.
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic service by Charles, and excellent food. I will be back.
Indeblue always amazes with the monthly specials menu. Other than that, items like tandoori mix grill and goat chilli are always awesome and worth driving out of the way for .
Indie Blue is our number one favorite spot to eat. The food and service are amazing. We only have one complaint and its so minimal that its almost not worth mentioning...the upper dining area is very noisy.
I've been here many times, and it is always a treat. I was disappointed that there was no live sitar music on this visit. I hope it is only temporary.
Great food. The lamb shank special was delicious, as were the shrimp tacos. Wonderful desserts, too. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. One of South Jersey’s best.
Great meal! Our server was really nice! We had a group of 6 with two people who were very late and our server was so nice about it, opened our wine and gave us time to settle in. Spinach chatt, long hits, and paneer was amazing! Second time there and had a great experience both times!
Went for NYE. There was a set menu for 60/pp for 6 courses. Service was bad food was ok but rushed. We were not given wine or all dessert included in the holiday menu. No explanation was given and meal itself seemed very rushed. Server seemed like it was an inconvenience to be there. Frustrating visit. Will not go back.
Food, service, very good. Only negative; Very cold in the restaurant, every time the door opened, you felt like you were celebrating new years eve outside. They need a vestibule to keep the cold weather out. I commented to our waiter. We will be back in the spring, when we can enjoy dinner in comfort.
New Year’s Eve fabulous, delicious!
Great staff and great food. The fig ice cream dessert is amazing.
Another excellent dinner at IndeBlue restaurant. We started with the cheese plate which offered three different types of cheeses accompanied by three different types of sauces, palak cashews, 2 spicy peppers and naan - Everything was excellent. We then enjoyed our entrees (Can’t remember what everyone had but I know they enjoyed it). I ordered the shrimp moilee - It was exceptional. We will be sure to visit this restaurant again.
Delicious food, awesome waitress who was very knowledgeable and honest about the menu.
Wonderful and delicious!
The wait staff is attentive and Happy to explain the menu. We sampled several items and our waitress served the food family style so that we could share. This restaurant is a gem.
Every time we come here it’s wonderful. Our waitress was amazing, accommodating and even brought us complimentary chai tea. We never felt rushed and loved her suggestions! One of my favorite restaurants!
Really enjoyed my first visit to indeblue. My friend and I had the chef's tasting menu which was fabulous. I strongly recommend the spicy cauliflower in the appetizers.
The service wad friendly and helpful without being pushy.
Fabulous Indian cuisine.
Great food. Close to India, I could get
It was the first time for IndeBlue - we have heard so many good things about it. However, my husband's butter chicken dish was very disappointing. The chicken was rubbery - overcooked. It also looked like it was pre-cooked and just added to the sauce. My tikka masala was ok. we also ordered the BBQ port samosas and the dough wasn't cooked through - very disappointing. I thought it was a bit of a cheek to charge for chutney. We would probably try again to see if our first experience was a fluke; but probably wouldn't recommend.
We had a 8:00 reservation on Saturday. The service was prompt and well done, with a good delivery pace. We tried some new things and enjoyed them all!
Great spot off the main thoroughfare. Heather was *very* accommodating and took time to explain how the foods were prepared, what they included, and what her favorites were. We had a fairly comfortable table for four. The food was absolutely delicious, all four of us enjoyed all of the dishes, and the food just kept coming and coming. We ordered the special where you pick a few appetizers, a few entrees, and the deserts. Great food, great value.
The service was excellent with all the waiters taking care of each customers nicely ... Overall food was good except Bhaighan Bharta which smelled and tasted like stale stuff though staff offered to replace with something else we didn't exchanged and left the vegetable ....
The express lunch is a great deal. You get a delicious beginning and entree for only $15. They offer many choices and the food was delectable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The food is very fresh and tasty. The service is great.
