In Riva is the first venture by Philadelphia-born chef Arthur Cavaliere who has combined the similarities of his two favorite cities—Naples and Philadelphia—to deliver an unparalleled culinary experience. Sticking with the Italian translation of its name, In Riva is located "along the banks" of the Schuylkill River in East Falls.

We were greeted right away by attentive seater. Server went above & beyond answering our questions. Tomato conserva was packed with flavor. Tricolor salad was both great flavor & great texture. We had the green green green pizza , again packed with flavor ! The pacing of our food served was spot on. And ice cold beers. Ambience, servers & food are the reasons to go to In Riva…enjoy

Really festive and fun restaurant especially if you're a cycling fan. Menu is manageable if not remarkable and food is prepared and presented well. Outdoor seating offers a view of the river and canines guests are allowed to enjoy the party. Great spot for groups--not really a date night vibe. We'll be back for sure.

We had a great time last night! It was my first time there. My friend had dined there before, but hadn’t been back in years. We had drinks at the bar first and ordered the Bravas appetizer. It was delicious. When we got to our table I was delighted to find that our bartender was going to be our waitress. I got the Green, Green, Green pizza; my friend got the pepperoni. Our food was amazing. The ingredients were very fresh. Just wanted to close with something about our service. Ames was so nice and made us feel very welcome. She’s a fantastic server.

We did wait a while for our server to come to the table, but once she got there, she was really good and was apologetic for our wait period of about 10 minutes. What struck us most was the deportment of the staff. Their clothing wasn't professional - the young woman that sat us was dressed and coifed like she was hanging out in her dorm room, and the other young woman who hosted was dressed for the beach. There was an overall air of "don't care" about the place. The restroom downstairs was a bit dank and didn't feel clean. As for food, my husband really liked his pizza and my chicken was fine - our waiter made sure it was prepared gluten free, which I appreciated. Too bad it's not a better experience because the location is great.

We had a WONDERFUL experience!!! All of the staff were so welcoming & service was prompt. The food was EXCELLENT! Again the staff, hostess, waitress, waiter, bartenders... all of them were were nothing short than amazing!!!! If I can give 10 stars I would !!!!
