Experience the flavors of North Africa at the Imperial Fez. Its colorful and festive dining room showcases a Moroccan decor, providing an authentic and exotic experience. Some dishes on its menu include entrees featuring lamb, baked salmon, grilled quail and filet mignon. Each entree at Imperial Fez is further accompanied with a side dish, such as couscous, rice, baked potatoes or garbanzo beans. Family-oriented, there is also a kids' menu offering more child-friendly fare.
Scheduled weekly events, such as belly dance classes and hookah night, are offered at Imperial Fez. With a separate lounge area, private parties are also welcome for birthdays, anniversaries or other celebrations.
We really enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious and the belly dancers added a nice touch. We also liked taking part in the Moroccan eating traditions. We will definitely return!
Feels just like being in Morocco. Food and service is always great. Music is a bit loud but adds to the experience.
The food was great and the happy drink was tasty. Great ambiance.
A lot of fun! Great place for a group.
I have been to Imperial Fez before in the past (a few to many times) and the energy was missing this time. Sure they had "a" belly dancer, but in the past they had more than one at a time and different ones and this was on a Friday night too (not a week night). I remember this place to be high energy and it was good but missed the fun I had in the past.
The food is very good, we had a chicken, shrimp and lamb dish so no complaints there.
The service was outstanding and Yousef was one of our waiters. Thank you.
Ambiance was good too, just missed how it was in the past, high energy, took your shoes off, ate on the floor (now you have a low table that would fit if you ate on the floor, but the seats are too high and you always have to lean down to eat which made it uncomfortable) and I missed the large bath towels they gave you for a napkin, now it is a hand towel which didn't cooperate and kept falling off our shoulders.
Overall I would come back to bring people who have not been before or people in from out of town, but not sure I would come back on a regular basis or with other folks from Atlanta.
Thanks - overall great place, but think about the past and what was good and bring it back and think about what else you could do in the future to enhance experience.
Awesome for special occasions.
Moroccan style restaurant. Lamb chops were superb! Belly dancer was refreshing; definitely different.
Love this place! My group we have monthly dinners and this is one of our favorite places to go!!!!! From the hostess to the wait staff ... everyone is amazing!!!!!! The food and drinks are wonderful!!!!!
We had a ladies night out birthday crew and the experience for those who have not been, loved it. Vibrant, great food and excellent customer service. The belly dancers are interactive which is always a good thing. A must try.
We were a bit worried when we were greeted by a surly and completely inefficient guy at the hostess stand and were then sent to wait in a FREEZING bar area until being called to our table. Luckily this rough start was quickly remedied when we were seated at a cozy comfortable low table and were quickly greeted by friendly and efficient waitstaff. The rest of the dining experience was just great. All of the food was flavorful and delicious. The dancing was tasteful and lent itself to the sumptuous atmosphere. The chef/owner visited tables making guests feel welcome and to ensure their satisfaction with the food. It was a really fun and delicious dining experience.
Terrible customer service. I made a reservation for 9:00, we were not seated until 9:25. We saw multiple parties go in to the dining room and then leave a few minutes later. While walking in to be seated a man said to us "don't bother, leave now". The waiter finally brought us water around 9:35 and explained that we could not get the tapas on the menu in the dining room but had to order the $55 four course meal. We asked if we could just order cocktails and the waiter left and never returned. At 9:45 we walked out. I will never return to this restaurant.
IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME AND ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. THE SERVICE AND ATTENTION GIVEN TO EVERYONE WAS ON POINT CANT WAIT TO GO BACK. PLEASE SPARE AT LEAST 1.5 HOURS TO ENJOY
I was here for New Years Eve. I came back after few years and I can see the change. You do not have the option to seat on the floor anymore. They don't encourage you to use your hands to eat (which I think its part of the whole experience) but instead give you utensils. The place and the service came across a bit tired. The food is still excellent and the entertainment is good. I would go back for the food, if I didn't mind the price tag.
We took my adult daughter here for her birthday. We had a party of 7. Our tables and seating was very comfortable. The decor and lighting created a fun atmosphere. The food was great - we had several different family style dinners, everything from Cornish hens to Surf and Turf. We enjoyed the food and there was a lot of sharing. The belly dancing was fun, especially when the dancer had a sword balanced on her head that was on fire. It was a fun evening for all and a birthday my daughter will not soon forget.
My only recommendation would be to turn the temperature down. Even with the fans on - it was very warm in the restaurant.
they cancelled it the night before, and I have tried to use opentable and their site to make another, have not heard anything.
Must have too many customers, they don't need anymore.
I took my husband for his birthday. This was our first time visiting. The website indicated we would be seated on comfy pillows and had to take our shoes off at the door. We were prepared. However, that didn't happen. We walked in and saw what reminded us of a cruise ship. We were
seated in old red velvet chairs with a small table in between us. We also was expecting entertainment. The website showed an exciting arangment of entertainment. However, our entertainment consisted of 1 belly dancer who was not that good. She was dancing around with dollar bills in her garment as if we were at a strip club. We were not impressed. Our food came, my
husband ordered the trio. I ordered the seafood platter. The seafood platter, although was overpriced, I was okay with it. But my husband's platter, really!!!. Both platters were the same price and his plate consisted of a cornish hen wing, a cornish hen leg (you know how small a cornish hen is), couscous w/vegetables and a small portion of lamb. Our dessert consisted of mixed fruit, some of the fruit was frozen and a small pastry which whe had to share. We both agreed that we will not be going back.
It's a place to enjoy the belly dancing and decent Moroccan food. e
Food and service were not bad but, not outstanding either. We went there late on a Sunday so we were the only people in the place. Fun atmosphere and very quaint that night. Would recommend!
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he had an amazing time. He said that it was a night that he'd never forget. Me either.
Worst restaurant we have gone to in lower Buckhead area. Waiter was extremely nice, once we sought our someone to welcome at the door. We had to ask for the TV to be shut off in the Casablanca Lounge eating area so some music could be on. Anyhow, there were no plates/sliverware/glasses were placed on our table, even when the first food was brought to the table. No bread up front, just a blank table. We like Mediterrean/Middle Eastern cuisine, so we ordered 4 appetitiser-sized plates to share along with a bottle of wine. Only two plates were edible. Then, I had to find the waiter in order to get our bill. All-in-all...the Imperial Fez needs a rethink of it restaurant model if it is to survive...
The place looks put together poorly with old fabric
Imperial Fez is a gem and an awesome dining experience. My self an my family really enjoyed it. The service was great and the food even better. The entertainment was different and very nice. Many great items on the menu. Really looking forward to going back.
Music was too loud and show too short. We waited to see the fire show but after over 2 hours, we decided to leave. they have small performances that are too far in between.
it feels very authentic inside, which divides for a unique experience. Unfortunately, the prices are steep and the "family style" is misleading - each person is asked to order an entree. The entertainment is nice though, so I suppose that offsets things a bit. Also, I would not recommend the lamb, which they pride themselves on: it simply was not that great.
The food was wonderful, the lobster and fish dinner was out of this world along with the Lamb shank. Best dinner of all times.
I took two friends who had never been to the Imperial Fez for a birthday dinner and was delighted when they loved the Moroccan food (lamb, shrimp, baba ghanoush), the exotic middle eastern music, the hot mint tea, and the friendly staff. We had the choice of sitting in the sumptuous atmosphere of the main restaurant where entertainment is provided, or on the enclosed patio that is also part of the restaurant.
Truly enjoyed this unique dining experience. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I was disappointed that I could not enjoy my hookah while I dined. They have changed that up, but much to my dismay. Omar and Yusef were great. Thanks for a great time.
Food was good. Service was slow. Never did the birthday thing even though I put it on reservation. When I brought it to their attention, all they said was sorry. I don't like spicy foods but can tolerate if I have water. I requested to have a container of water on my table. Waiter said he would bring me water whenever I wanted it. Didn't happen. Didn't give me the birthday meal free even though it was advertised on their website. After talking with the manager he fixed it. We were the first people there. Several more people came in--not a busy night (Tuesday) or maybe it's a late night place. The experience takes a couple of hours. The birthday boy doesn't like fruit and that was mainly what dessert was. Try it for yourself.
The food was really good and the dancing was a treat!
They were out of everything we ask for. The air was not working on the Casablanca Lounge, waiter never bothered to ask us if we wanted him to turn on the fans that were in the lounge. It was a very bad experience and we were celebrating a birthday. They act like they were closed for lunch.
This was our second trip to the Fez. Our first was an office Christmas party. The entertainment was great. On this visit, the food was great as usual but the entertainment was ok at best. The dancing was intermittent and just not what we expected.
A most enjoyable night out. The food is very authentic. The dance show entertaining. I always have a great time!
This place is awesome! Totally made my birthday surprise for my husband memorable! I highly recommend Imperial Fez and will definitely be back. The food was amazing and the entertainment was great! Great Food, Great Service, Great Experience!
The food and service were great. The valet service was a big plus, since the only available parking was in a strip-mall across the street. The only problem was that we had a 6:00 reservation, but they are not open until 6. We arrived 30 min. early and had to wait in the bar of the Vin Vie next door.
Fun! Tasty. Exciting.
I had been here a couple of times before and loved it. This last experience was different, they have kinda changed up the menu in the sense that now you either get an appetizer or dessert whereas before you got both. Don't think I'll be going back soon but in general, the food is still great.
I took my family to Imperial Fez for my husband's birthday. It was an amazing experience. The ambiance was exotic and beautiful. The belly dancing was intriguing. The service was great. The best part was food, though. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious. It is a family style restaurant that includes at least four courses; and each course is delicious and gets better and better. You will not be disappointed. It was a bit pricey for my budget, so this would only be a restaurant that I'd visit for special occasions.
My Moroccan friend recommended this place to me. I highly recommend it as well. Extraordinary flavors that you would not expect. Quite an experience.
Great food, great service, great decor!!! Never being to a Moroccan restaurant or eaten Moroccan food but thnx to this restaurant I'm a fan
I felt like I had been transported back to northern Africa for just a brief moment.
