Imoto (little sister) is Buccan's version of an Izakaya. The Japanese Izakaya's were traditionally down-to-earth gathering places to go get a drink and something to eat after work. Imoto Room is an extension of Buccan's small plate - big flavor concept with Japanese and other Asian influence. Pretty cold inside. Sushi rice had no seasoning. Tasted like regular white rice. A couple dishes were good, nothing outstanding especially due to the price. $200 for two people and we didn’t order drinks. Seems like their taking advantage of the neighborhoods deep pockets. Probably they have a high rent to pay though so I get it. For that kind of money I expect the sushi rice to actually taste like sushi rice though. Oh well. Go to Orlando or Miami for Japanese food, otherwise who knows what you’ll get.

Peking duck tacos, cod lettuce cups and spicy tuna were all perfect first bites. Would recommend the rolls or sashimi. Each nigiri had a lot of wasabi on every piece that overpowered the fish, maybe just an off night.. Regardless service, ambiance, food all make this one of the best restaurants you can choose in Palm beach

We ordered and loved the Peking Duck Tacos, the Grilled Mushrooms, the Main Lobster Roll, and the Imoto Roll. Outstanding flavors!

We are regulars at Buccan because it overs a fantastic culinary experience all of the time. This was our first experience at Imoto. Another spectacular restaurant from this group. Absolutely loved the food, atmosphere and service. Our server Desiree’ was exceptional - charming personality and keen knowledge of the menu to assist first time diners. The menu is expansive and very creative. We would order just about everything described and look forward to returning to further explore the menu on our next visit. The restaurants created by Clay Conley are the best in Palm Beach and just keep getting better. Congratulations.
