Imoto at Buccan
Best place for sushi in Palm Beach period! Always fresh, and well prepared
Amazingly prepared fresh ingredients!
The food and drinks here are always spectacular. The special nigiri menu is not to be overlooked!
Grace was our amazing server for the 2nd night in a row. We had the wagyu beef with the cucumber salad. Of course we had to get the duck tacos again and spicy tuna roll. Everything was outstanding and I would highly recommend Imoto.
Amazing food! I highly recommend the duck tacos, pork belly bao buns, spicy tuna roll and rock shrimp tempura! Service was incredible.
Great experience - the duck tacos - yum - rose roll - individual sushi - it was all good!
Great spot fresh fish
Everything was great service and environment was good. Inside was small and reminded me of a nyc restaurant, tables were very close and noise was loud because of that. The food was DELICIOUS and very great quality. Even though i read the menu before the food experience reminded me of an asian style tapas. I wish they could explain that before getting started but it was great either way and loved it
Great food and service
The service was prompt and supportive. Water glasses were kept refilled and fresh plates brought regularly. The manager stopped by to check that all was to our liking.
The tables are a bit small but we were able to manage. The sashimi is the freshest and best I have had in Palm Beach County. The rolls are imaginative without falling into the “over done too much sauce American style” roll. The hamachi Kama is superior. We ordered hand rolls and they would have been very good if the chef had taken the extra step to roast/crisp the nori. As it was presented, it was a typical argument between my teeth and my hand as I wrestled with the rubbery- not crisp nori exterior. Skip the hand roll and I highly recommend
Fantastic experience! Best sushi in Florida!
Great server named Matt
Delicious food!! Great service!
Best sushi in the area. Excellent service and quality. Small and intimate so easy to have conversations.
Always some of the best sashimi/sushi in town. The option to supplement their menu with items from Buccan, a home run.
wonderfully creative sushi and sashmi, along with top notch service
Just cant get enough of this wonderful food@
Manager was extremely accommodating by moving us to a table somewhat away from a large boisterous group. Waitress terrific. Food great as always.
The food at Imoto was outstanding Friday night. We started with the Tuna Tartar which my wife and I order all over the country. This was by far the best we have ever tasted. We ordered the Tuna Crisp which comes from the sister restaurant adjacent (Buccan) excellent as well. Next was the yellow tail and salmon that melted in your mouth. Next up was eel that was fresh and delicious. On to the cooked food we had the popcorn shrimp which was good. The next dish I highly recommend was the NY strip with miso and mushrooms. Followed by an ice cream sandwich for dessert. The service and food were amazing.
I would go back in a heartbeat. Food and service was excellent. The only thing bothersome was the bartenders did not have their hair tied back or up. They had very long hair and I actually saw their hair brush the top of some of the drinks they were making. Not sure how they get away with this. All the servers hair was up.
Food was amazing. Waitress was hard to find to order though
Imoto was perfect. Both our cook foods - asparagus & mushrooms - as well as all of our sushi - especially yummy hamachi appetizer- were all very fresh. The atmosphere is fun and younger for Palm Beach. Our server Powell was friendly and quick. A great night.
It's a great place with a nice vibe and the best sushi in Palm Beach.
Very over priced on food. The happy hour was excellent on price. I recommend going then. Small bar and 1 bartender. Service was extremely slow.
5 Star restaurant if your looking for Asian/Sushi. Outstanding! Enjoy!!!!!
Excellent. Superb. DECADENT. Attractive staff as well.
Great ambiance, tiny restaurant, service is acceptable but not as attentive as I like. Food is the highlight. Sushi is fantastic as are most of the appetizers. Oysters were also delicious. Small but tasty menu.
Interesting drink and food menu, almost perfect preparation of every item on the menu, wonderful service, and a moderate noise level make this our favorite restaurant in Palm Beach. If you like a traditional, formulaic menu, this is not for you. It is difficult to pick our favorites, because there are so many on the menu. The one disappointing item is the Korean beef. While the sauce is delicious , the meat is tough and chewy.
Incredible food and great service in a fun and lively environment
There is an expectation of excellent service when you pay Imoto/Buccan prices. My service experience on 4/8/19 was so bad it dragged down the whole dinning experience. Not only was our waiter slow and uninterested in us there was no manager to be found with which to raise the issue with. I will not recommend nor contemplate returning any time soon.
Sushi is always fresh and presented well.
We sat right at the Sushi Bar, just watching the Chefs work was entertaining. Those guys were working non stop and some of their technichs for cutting the Fish and the Vegetables was really interesting. So we were already pretty happy just hanging out and having some saki. Then the Chefs starting handing us some of the Plates we ordered, they all looked like something out of a magazine and taste was incredible. Honestly the best Sushi we ever had.. This place is a 10!
Everything was delicious and the service was terrific.
Phenomenal experience. Food is always fresh superb.
One of our top 3 restaurants in Palm Beach. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious. Enjoyable evening.
Sushi is mediocre. Sushi "chefs" basically are of the short-order variety, with no true expertise, in the preparation. Seaweed mushy, salmon skin not properly prepared, edamame has a sweet, gooey sauce on it. Basically a trendy spot, catering to folks who've never had true sushi, prepared by real sushi chefs.
It was a great experience , but food was a little too spicy.
Food was excellent, waitress wasn't polite or willing to give more information.
Actually switched to Buccan that night because my table was not ready at Imoto. The manager let a couple in with a dog. He asked if it had papers but never asked TO SEE the papers. It was one of those suspicious "service dogs". Anyway, we had a good meal at Buccan and ALEX was a very fine server. I would ask for him again. We tried 2 new dishes, the lobster pasta, and the warm Brussel spouts. They added a few new desserts. This restaurant never disappoints.
