The cauliflower appetizer and chips/dip appetizer were not edible. Just not good. The veggie sushi was just okay - We wanted salmon/avocado/cucumber sushi but couldn't get it. They served a few bits of salmon separately and charged us extra for it. We would not go to this restaurant again.
Lovely location. Nice waitstaff, but the food is just uninspired, and prepared with lack of care. The sushi, in particular had "al dente" (lol) rice, and was of a quality that I was doubting whether I should actually eat it. I have no idea how this place maintains an over 4 rating on TripAdvisor.
it was slow, and we were only 5 tables, and our server had a hard time filling up our drinks. I thought the food was overpriced. We eat their because we were staying at the hotel. A few other nights we went off property and better/cheaper food.
My family and I went to Ilios for Thanksgiving. The food was ok but it was not great for the price I paid. My waitress was great and her level of service was awesome but I would not go again for Thanksgiving.
We celebrated our anniversary and Chef Nicole and Chef Randy went out of their way to make our dinner special. They decorated our table, the service was incredible, and the food was amazing!
We thank everyone who took part in our celebration. Thanks!
The food was very good. Our waiter, Patrick, was awesome. That's where the goodness ended. The bartender was second rate at best, the drinks sucked. It was New Years Eve and we made a 10:15 reservation figuring we would be out to meet other friends and watch the fireworks, but we didn't finish eating until 12:30. We had to spend midnight at the restaurant. It was outrageous, we only had the first course after one hour. Not sure what the issue was, but they ruined our holiday.
Farrah was simply the best hostess we have ever had. She made my 70th birthday very special. I understand she will be leaving in four months. You will sure miss her!
We chose Ilios because we were checking into the Hilton that afternoon and decided that we wanted someplace convenient for dinner. Plus, the weather was not good on this day so that was a good move. This is a rather sleepy hotel restaurant, especially during the week. We waited quite a while for the hostess to appear.
We both felt like fresh fish, and ordered dinners of snapper and swordfish. Both were fine but really could have used a starch or some accompaniment. I started with a nice corn tortilla soup that could have been hotter in temperature.
Since dinner was rather light, we opted for desserts which were nicely presented: a round mango cheesecake with berries and a mango puree, and a chocolate mousse with berries.
This restaurant also serves breakfast and lunch, including the food served on the hotel's pool deck. We had a good hamburger and guacamole out there one day.
Seven friends had lunch on a Saturday. Our food selections ranged from hamburgers, tacos, to beet salad with shrimp. Everyone was very happy with the food. The dining room overlooks the pool area. The servers were very attentive.
Low staff that caused delays to order and receive the food. Poor restaurant management.
A well kept secret restaurant of the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Hilton Hotel is the restaurant Ilios on the 6th floor of the hotel. Oh, people will steer you to S3, but their food and service is inconsistent and unreliable. however, upstairs, Chef Don Ellison does an amazing job. We had the specials which was a surf and turf with filet and grilled grouper. The second dish was pecan crusted snapper with sweet plantains. Dessert was wonderful flourless chocolate and sweets. Service was very good and the view of the full moon rising was priceless.
This was a last minute Valentine's Day dinner. The hotel was nice. The outside seating was by the pool on the 6th floor by a fire pit. The wait staff was absolutely attentive and amazing. It was a set menu and very good.
Server was nice and attentive but the food was horrible
The quality of this restaurant is not consistent with the rest of the hotel. It is very dreary inside. Really needs a renovation. We ate there on Christmas evening. It was a special holiday menu. Every time we chose an item from the menu, we were told by the waiter that it wasn't available. The service was extremely poor. Dishes were dumped on the table. We should have gone to the finer restaurant in the hotel, S3 run by an outside organization.
Do not waste your money here. There are plenty of other options within walking distance of this restaurant. Very disappointed in Hilton. It's not up to their standards.
Went there for Christmas dinner. The gentleman i spoke with had the pricing wrong before I booked. The food was good but not great. Service was slow. All and all to worth the price of a $500 family dinner. I had much better service for similar price at the Ritz down the street.
I have held breakfast meetings at this restaurant several times, and even hosted a large breakfast event here once in their private room. Their buffet is always reliable, as is their service. Great food, good ambiance and nice staff are what keep my company coming back.
Excellent overall service
Very nice place and food was great.
Food and service are good but the restaurant is next to the pool and people come in all the time in swimsuits with barely any clothes or shoes so it really isn't conducive for dining
Food is ok
Noisy location to bar and hotel pool people coming and going clothed and quite often no shirts and swimsuits only
Food was awful
Food was fantastic, Chef Don did a great job and even came out to great us with a complimentary dessert. Service was great and everyone was very friendly.
Service was slow, but every person from the waiter to the mgmt we had contact with was extremely friendly and very pleasurable to be around. Great restaurant to enjoy inside and the bar is a neat place to be. Restaurant tables outside are on the pool deck and away from the ocean view, unlike the pool and jacuzzi which are next to the glass railing facing the Atlantic. Noisy outside with the pool being so close.
If you would like a fabulous meal without having to worry about your kids being too disruptive, this would be a good destination. The snapper was outstanding and definitely something different than most other restaurants.
