The Il Vino Wine Bar is all about fine wines and Italian food. The restaurant has a rustic interior with brick walls and long communal tables for a bar-style dining experience. Customers at the Il Vino Wine Bar can opt between indoor and outdoor seating options. The overall ambience for indoor dining is intimate and cozy. The outdoor seating puts customers out on the bustling New York street.
The menu is dominated by a range of pizzas, pastas, ravioli, and cheese. The restaurant serves both appetizers and entrées. Famous dishes at the restaurant comprise of the prosciutto pizza, the ravioli e burrata and the meatballs and spaghetti. There is an exclusive in-house full service bar at the restaurant as well.
What an amazing find!!! This cozy little wine bar is the perfect spot for drinks and dinner!! The wine sampler was great and the food was delicious! I am a huge fan of burrata and was so excited when I saw they had it! On a crostini as an appetizer, on top of a ravioli and on pizza! I would suggest making reservations because when I said little, I meant it. It's tiny, but totally what gives it its charm. I can't wait to go back to the city so that I can go back!!!
As always, we had a superb dining experience at your very fine establishment. We live in central Pennsylvania. We bring new groups of friends whenever we can, to enjoy your wonderful wine list. What often goes unrecognized, is your superb food. There were raves all around regarding the pumpkin ravioli. We will certainly be back.
The pizza was amazing (and I'm tough to please)! The atmosphere was intimate and warm looking. Only downfall is that it's small. Only about three 2-person tables and one larger table for multiple parties.
Well over $50 for four glasses of Prosecco. Absolutely ridiculous at over $13 a glass. I can buy an entire bottle next door to this place for $18, which is exactly what I will do next time. Not worth spending the money at this restaurant.
Went on a Saturday night, ordered a bottle of white, a meat and cheese plate and a pizza. The bottle was left on the table (it was 85 degrees out) and sweating all over. We asked for a bucket of ice or if I can be kept in the fridge and the waiter went to buy ice and put the bottle in a bag of ice. Okay. The waiter no longer came outside but was happily behind the bar drinking. When we finally got his attention to ask about our pizza he had another drink and the. Told us Oh! My fault I totally forgot to put it in....but he didn't forget to drink his countless glasses of wine Needless to say at that point we asked for the check, left and will not be back.
Tiny little portions, pasty pizza dough, and had to wait a really long time to have a glass of wine and a snack. Server & kitchen were clearly overworked. Nothing special at all - will not go back here.
We had a very nice night at Il Vino. Great service and nice wine selection. Cheese selections for appetizers were good and the cheese plate was very good. The pizza was outstanding. Definitely returning.
Great place, good pizza and wine. Tiny place but big flavors.
I loved the wine, the pizza was delicious, and the services was excellent, also the place is really cool.
