Service was extremely slow. Took over 2 hours to finish our dinner. Food was good but not memorable. Overall a fair dining experience.
This is my favorite restaurant good food great ambiance....and owners who are on site to make sure their level of quality is maintained. I recommend it highly!
It was Valentines weekend . Andy and his cast were so nice, service and food was excellent. Never a bad meal at Il Villagio’s
Always a great night! Nice for couples, friends, or parties.
Service was outstanding
Food was good. I would rate it a 3.5 if I could. Portions were average to small and quality was good but didn't differentiate from other Italian restaurants like I thought they would.
Great ambiance ,excellent food and service. Highly recommend
The reservation time was honored. The food choices were less than the last time we ate there. My husband's pasta was good, but nothing special. My scallops were very good, but the risotto, after a few bites, was floating in oil. The burratta appetizer was decent, as was dessert. Nothing great. We won't be returning.
This is our favorite place! Not only is the good exceptional and consistent every time we go, the staff is just as amazing. They remember you, celebrate little things with you, and always make you feel like number 1. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place! Hands down the best.
Maybe you had a true red sauce. I wanted a red sauce, but was offered a blush. A better selection of desserts is needed!
Was there for Valentine's dinner. The food was delicious. Service was very good and we didn't feel rushed.
With the reservation we did not have to wait... large room... but not too load... rose on the table for Valentines Day... pre set menu was really good... waiter was on top of everything...
My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Il Villaggio. It was a set price menu and folks sometimes avoid restaurants if it provides this on special occasions but we definitely enjoyed our meals and it was well worth the set price: four courses with a choice of four appetizers, two second course, five main course and four desserts - and all the offerings were well apportioned, nicely presented and delicious! The tables in our room were rather close together, but we had a very pleasant conversation with the couple at the adjoining table and still had a feeling of intimacy - and the single red rose on each table was a special touch that completed our very enjoyable Valentine's Day dinner (oh, and the service was excellent too)!
The service and food were excellent. We went for Valentine’s Day and started off with stuffed figs with prosciutto, pistachios and chocolate. Outstanding. There were only two lobster ravioli but they were very tasty. I had the bronzino and my wife had the risotto. Both very well made. My only disappointment was the check. The ad stated the Valentines special dinner price for two, but when I got the check, it was per person. Still, it was a very nice dinner and I will probably return there again.
We have gone to Il Villagio for special events like baby showers and have always been really pleased. This was our first time with the restaurant. They had a special multi course meal for Valentine's day. It was wonderful! My husband had filet mignon and I had bronzino. My first course was a fig salad with creme brulee cheese cake for dessert. My husband had a crab cake appetizer and chocolate mousse for dessert that was like eating fudge. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious!.
We went to this restaurant on Saturday night what a great experience the food was delicious our server Sarah T was delightful and efficient we will most certainly be returning.Jack R
Beautiful, ornate, excellent service and delicious food
We went for my birthday and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the ambience was great, the decor was very nice to look at. We even had a waiter who played the guitar and sang a couple songs throughout the evening. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Birthday! Terry was our waiter and he always does an excellent job! The staff and establishment are extremely accommodating. This place is great for a weekday meal or meeting as well as special occasions!
The place stood up to its reputation my wife and I will be returning
This is a large well organized restaurant. Food was very good although veal quality was fair. Everything was hot and it was a relaxing two hours. The serving crew is superior. Dessert was very good. Parking can be a mess when crowded. Will return
Excellent service and the food was outstanding!
Incredible food, atmosphere and service! Highly recommend!
Had a 630 reservation. We were a little early and seared almost immediately. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Will definitely return.
Always a great dinner and our friends loved the restaurant too!
One of my favorite restaurants given its consistency, wonderful, fresh food offerings, unobstructive wait staff, valuable. Highly enjoyable.
Lovely birthday celebration, restaurant almost filled and noise level was very low. Beautiful environment.
Food & service were excellent. Atmosphere was both comfortable and elegant. A nice venue to come to with friends or family.
The usual experience: cozy Old World setting, fantastic service and great food. We have never left this restaurant disappointed with anything.
Came here for an anniversary dinner and was not disappointed at all! Service was great, our waitress explained all the specials and the menu really well. Food was FANTASTIC! We ordered white sauce mussels, lobster ravioli, and seafood risotto; everything was extremely delicious and authentic. Another great mention is the dip that they serve with the bread, not sure what its made of but damn it was good! The guys that worked the valet was awesome too, it was 25 degrees outside raining, they still ran all over to park and get the cars. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion really.
Service was quite slow. I mentioned we were celebrating a big birthday when I made reservations, when we got there and when the waitress came. Nothing. I did mention this to manager on way out as I was disappointed, he apologized and gave us 2 desserts of our choice to have at home. He salvaged a disappointing situation. Food was very good overall and beautiful restaurant.
Our meal was great! Friends gave us a gift card and we tried this restaurant on the first snowstorm of 2020. For starters we tried mussels in white sauce and a cheese platter, both were very good! The warm bread and tomato balsamic spread was delicious, the bread was warm and a whole loaf not just 3 slices. We had soup, New England clam chowder and pasta fagiol, both were very good! Entrees were veal chop Parmigiana; this was very tender and didn’t need steak knife to cut, it also was huge! Other entrees were a salmon special with crabmeat, spinach and potatoes - done just right and very good! Last entree buttered penne with Parmesan. Dessert was vanilla gelato with berries - the best gelato ever tasted! Also had tiramisu, very creamy and delicious!! Would definitely recommend and definitely return again!
Another great evening. My husband is a veal parm guy but the veal chop is too big. They also do veal parm without the bone and that is perfect for him. The specials are always sooo good. Company can hear each other and another great nite!
Had lunch here with 4 friends. It was a cold windy day. Sat by wood burning fireplace. It was nice and cozy. Food and service were excellent. Will go back.
nice place good food, reasonable prices. Service slow but gave us time to enjoy company.
Try the gnocchi with porcino mushroom sauce. Heavenly!
Another excellent dining experience. Herman really took care of us.
Great food! Excellent service!
