Group dinner on spring break trip with school friends - great wait staff and yummy entrees!
The food was excellent! Even though it was extremely crowded and we had a bit of a wait to receive our food, the staff could not have been more courteous and understanding. The manager and our server were both outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in Jackson Hole!
Highly recommend...great food and great service...sat at bar, very well taken care of my the bartenders....big fan of the restaurant!!
Food and service were fantastic - ravioli saltimbocca was sublime and as good as I've eaten anywhere. Try the ice cream sandwiches, they were a revelation.
We arrived and were basically ignored while both front desk people were on the phone. They seemed very annoyed and weren’t particularly welcoming. I get it’s spring break and busy, but geesh, that’s your job. Have one person answer the phone and one person deal with real people who are waiting.
We were seated and the waiter was fine. We ordered pizza and cacio Pepe pasta. Oh how I wish I had read the reviews. Literally, the worst pasta I have ever had. I eat this particular dish regularly and make it at home. I don’t know what they did to it, but it was drenched in oil and definitely wasn’t the right cheese. I was ill all night. There is nothing authentic about the place.
To top it off, it was way overpriced.
Would not recommend
Chicken dry as a bone tasted like saw dust and I could hardly swallow it! We were with another couple and I didn’t want to make a fuss or I would have sent it back. We’ve been going to Osteria for four years now but the quality control on the food is slipping.
Great Staff, great service, great food...but any restaurant that feels like your at a Chuck-E-Cheese kids party is never going to get more than 2 stars.
knowledgable waitress who described the menu items beautifully and honestly. Delicious food, well presented and split in the kitchen for us (even the last glass of wine)! Pasta made in house and the freshness of all ingredients was evident. Hopppin place, but easy to converse. A+
Relaxed but upscale vibe. Excellent food and prices reasonable. Sommelier was very knowledgeable.
Had a great meal at the restaurant too hot.
Excellent food, ambience and location!
After making a reservation thru Open Table, we checked in and were completely forgotten about. The host didn't seem to mind that she left us waiting for nearly 15 minutes after check in. We sat down and had to ask for water and for it not being crowded, service was extremely slow. Orders were mixed up, and food runners 'tossed' plates of pasta down. Almost funny at that point. No one really seemed to care, which is sad because this place came highly recommended. Wouldn't go back.
Funghi Pizza arrived cold and was tasteless
mushroom salad- mushrooms too saucy, slimy
funghi pasta was tasteless
I have had really good meals here before but this one was not memorable at all.
Food and service were so-so. We've been coming here for years and always loved it but it has changed somehow. Outer waitress could not help us with wine selection. The food was ok but nothing special. We will have to find a new favorite.
Valentines Day. But we treat ourselves monthly . Best pasta in Jackson and definitely best Canoli cheesecake !! Staff is great. We love Albie!!
Tables are terribly close to one another. Be prepared to have dinner with strangers! Not obviously the best environment for an intimate date.
Prime rib for $44???? I sent entree back 2 times as the beef was improperly cooked. Extremely overpriced for a less than acceptable presentation, I can't imaging the chef actually tasted this entree or approved of the way it was served.
I have been a long time customer of Osteria and this past year I have been less impressed each time I have dined here. It is not what it used to be.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in town. Our last experience was not amazing. It was lunch, the bolognese has more cream than it normally has, Brussels we’re super spicy, starters were brought with food, meatballs were cold, kids pasta was ordered first so that they would bring it first and it was brought last. They did take the Brussels off the bill which was a good gesture. We will still be coming back and this is just so that they know what to improve!!!
after being seated in Siberia next to the kitchen door in their second dining room with other tables empty in the restaurant we decide the insult was not worth it and spoke with our feet..we left!!
Love this place. We visit Jackson a few times a year and always have a least one meal here! The rigatoni was especially good this time. Highly recommend.
This was my third visit but last was 7 years ago. Food & service in the past were great but our experience this time was average food at best & poor service
Such a disappointing meal! The cacio and pepe wasn't cacio and pepe - nothing like the Italian original. It was instead spaghetti with butter and a little cheese. No pepper that I could taste. And our chicken wasn't interesting at all. Our worst meal in Jackson Hole.
meatballs were below average, they cannot make lemonade despite trying twice, and the service was poor. The bolognese was good though.
good food servic ambience
Amazing! Staff was courteous and attentive. The food was exceptional and fast! We recommended it to several acquaintances we met in Jackson! Hopefully we will be back!
Sorry to say we didn’t enjoy our visit. The big room was way too noisy. The food was tasteless - even just an order of spaghetti and meatballs was not enjoyable- there is a favorite desert cheesecake Nutella and it was removed from menu - the cheesecake we did order was inedible - we all seriously thought something had been left out of the recipe - there was no flavor. It was just a very disappointing night - I asked to order a glass of moscato wine and they said they didn’t have any. Server wasn’t very welcoming either. Very disappointed- we won’t be back
We visit here almost every time we come to Jackson. It never disappoints. The lamb is wonderful. Great wine selection.
Nice variety of food choices. All fresh and tasty. Great service.
Jameson was a terrific waitress. Food was good. Fun place to have dinner.
Every time I'm in Jackson, I go to the Osteria. The food is great after a long day of skiing, hiking, or biking. It seems to be a standard Italian restaurant -- personal pizzas, pasta, salads, nice entrees, etc. The desserts are very good too.
Was highly recommended but was by far our worst dining experience in the area. Rigatoni with guanciale was inedible, portion sizes aside from the pizza were small given the price points, and every dish aside from the pizza underwhelmed. Service was friendly and accommodating but slow and we were seated half hour later than our reservation. Massive let down.
Great Italian food in a great setting. It's a little pricey but they don't skimp on the portions so you feel like you get your monies worth.
Nice people
Busy night, but service and food were good. Due to the overcrowded night, we waited about 25 minutes for our reserved table. The manager gave us complimentary drinks while we waited. That was a wonderful and unexpected touch!
The food was OK but expensive. Very busy but service was very good.
Excellent service from Riley; who added a local perspective to the evening!
Great Apres Ski spot. Seating was a little slow due to busy time of day, but it was worth the wait. Excellent salad and pizza!
We always enjoy Osteria but we sorry to see that the lasagna was no longer on the menu. Please bring it back!
We go to this restaurant every time we are in Jackson. The food is always great and they have a few kid options like pizza and pasta. The lobster risotto was delicious. I would highly recommend eating here when you are in Jackson Hole.
The menu is limited. The ravioli and the meatballs were good. The calzone-like sandwiches were doughy and bland.
