Our hostess greeted us upon arrival. Our server was Mark, who we requested. Mark always addresses us by name, knows the menu and ‘ answers our questions. We never have any doubts about the special prices. Mark is professional without being pushy, friendly, & certainly an asset to Verdi

The chicken parm. It took over an hour for the food to come out. You only get like one cup of pasta with it. The waiter was great, the food just as good. Dated decor and long wait for the meal.

From the moment we were seated, Mark was attentive, kind, and exceptionally professional. He guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations that made our meal all the more enjoyable. Every detail — from the pacing of the courses to the drink pairings — was handled flawlessly. But what truly set Mark apart was his genuine care beyond the dining experience. After our dinner and a show, we had some hesitation about walking the boardwalk late in the evening. Mark took the time to talk with us, easing our concerns and helping us confidently navigate the area. His thoughtful advice and reassuring demeanor made us feel safe and welcome — something you don’t always find beyond the dining table. Il Verdi is a gem on its own, but with service like Mark’s, it becomes something even more special. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for Mark again!
