    Disappointing- the seafood in the Frutti di Mare was very salty and the veal parmigiana was over dressed and while tender it was a very thick cut for a cutlet. A side of pasta in garlic and oil had no flavor at all. This was a second visit, the first time was much better. With a total bill of $166.00 before tip with just 2 entrees and 4 drinks we expected better.

    It was a great ambience Italian rustic decor. We went for Thanksgiving dinner, it was delicious with a large portion size. Also the lobster ravioli was out of this world.

    Sorry no pics. The food looked so amazing my only thought was to dig in! Chef Mike and his staff have another triumph in this Thanksgiving meal. The turkey was moist and delicious. The roasted veg was done perfectly and retained crunch as well as beautiful color and presentation Cranberry sauce was amazing! The acid cut with Chambord liquor but plenty of tart berry taste and the sweet finish. Wonderful! The stuffing, oh my! Moist and flavorful. Bigger cuts onion that maintained a bit of crunch I was amazed that they could achieve this with serving hundreds of meals Full menu was available and my daughter had the chicken parm always excellent and her favorite there Service beyond expectations as always. The bar is set high and the Il Verde staff always manages to jump over it! Busy place yesterday but everyone still greets guests with eye contact and a smile Yet again confirms why Il Verde is our very favorite for all our dining!

    I want to say that I’m definitely impressed with the “new” Il Verde. The decor is beautiful and the food is great! When I heard it was moving we were upset about it but it worked out well in their favor! We had mussels and they were great. I had a veal dish and my boyfriend had the filet! Very good! Try it out!

    This was my first time at this place..The table I was given was not to my preference. When I ask to be moved because I had a large coat and there was no coat room. The manager was not too accommodating to me..My husband had to ask a second time to finally get a suitable table. My profile specifically says seat by window…The place was not intimate. It had a cafeteria like vibe for the pricey menu. However my waiter was on point he was by far one of the best servers I have ever encounter. He has been with the company for over 25 years and our neighboring table always recommends him. He made my experience better than that manager with her valentino red shoes and attitude. Food was so so wine was over priced . I don’t believe I would go back. The price doesn’t pay for my experience and when it comes to food and ambience I want to pay for the experience it wasn’t a good experience from the start

    Whenever I visit Tropicana NJ, Il Verdi is the place to eat. The ambiance is wonderful and the food is delicious, not to mention the service from entering the restaurant, until you sit down at your table. The waiter when describing the specials makes the food water in your mouth. I highly recommend II Verdi, you won’t be disappointed.

    An overlooked gem and a complete dining experience, something that is rare these days. The veal parm and rigatoni bolognese was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Pricing was good by casino standards. A great experience.

    It was a nice place and the waiter was really nice…however we were sitting and waiting for bread after ordering and other people came in sitting across from us and they knew the staff since they obviously been there before and they brought them their bread immediately as if we didn’t exist. Then we had to ask the waiter again for the bread…he was shocked himself when he saw that they have gave the other table theirs first…..he did apologize and he did know the other people he also realized we were aware that he knew the other people after one of our guests brought it to his attention…he was again apologetic(I don’t think he personally knew them …they were just regulars) it took a longgg time to get our meals…it just wasn’t a good experience but maybe for some they would have not minded.

    Complements to the chef, I had the sea bass with the jumbo lump crab butter..me and my boyfriend were blown away. He enjoyed the Bronzino which was also amazing. Thank you to Barbara for the amazing service as well as the male host at the front. We love to go out to eat while staying in Atlantic City and Il Verdi will be our new go to restaurant.

    This restaurant is truly a well hidden gem at the Tropicana. The restaurant is classy and beautiful. The attention to details at the bar and in the restaurant section gave the restaurant a very upscale and classy vibe. I had the Lobster Ravioli and my friend the 16 oz porch chop. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious! The Caesar’s Salad was also savory and the Parmesan crisps were a great addition. Andrea was our server and she was very attentive and gave us wonderful recommendations. I highly recommend Il Verdi!

    It was great! We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday, 2 months late because my husband is in the restaurant business. They were so kind. We got the best service. They sat us near the window and gave us a special cheesecake desert for our anniversary and my birthday. It was very special.

    As always a fantastic experience! Food is always fresh flavorful and amazing. Chef Mike and his staff continue to delight us with new specials and dishes that remain our favorites Truly the staff carries the food to an experience. We are made to feel right at home This is our very favorite place to dine. The food is amazing the service is outstanding and the views are incredible Mark, Brian always a pleasure! All staff is amazing, Marguerite greets and seats, Loretta, John, Richard, Steven, Jose…everyone their is truly wonderful making us feel welcome and at home from the moment we step into the place I know I’m forgetting people but suffice to say everyone at Il Verde is amazing! Chef Mike and his staff ensures food quality and service just brings it home Can’t wait to be back!!!

    Excellent food served. We enjoyed our dinner. I was disappointed with the red sangria; too sweet and overpowering cherry taste. I won’t order it the next time. Our service was also very good, Beautiful restaurant!

    Il Verdi's new location at the Tropicana is beautiful with an Ocean View. Open and airy inside. Food is delicious and service is great as well. Brian our waiter is superb. Highly recommended!
