We had a great meal with attentive service.
I hadn't been here in a while, and we came to celebrate a birthday. The food, ambiance, and service were great, and I'll be back again soon.
The ambiance was great ! Felt as if we were transported back to Tuscany. The staff were very friendly and genuine. Fabulous food, visually and tastefully pleasing. Can't wait to go back the next time I am Inn town.
We arrived to a calligraphed place card wishing Happy Anniversary, and finished our great meal with an unrequested complimentary dessert. Carmine’s is consistently “Class” all the way.
Enjoyed great rissotto dish over lunch.
Years ago, I'd come to Carmine's with a friend, J.D., and now I've rediscovered it since I moved to Seattle. Never, ever -- not once -- has it ever been less than a pleasurable and palate-pleasing experience. From the appetizers to the desserts, Carmine's always delivers -- in a warm atmosphere with engaging bon ami servers. Can't wait to go back with family and friends!
We've eaten at Il Terrazzo before and had a great experience. This time, however, was not as great. The service was not to the standards we expected and the food was ok. A couple wine orders forgotten, not attending to everyone at the table with pepper, the billing was confusing...a couple guests asked to separate the bill, which was supposed to be attended to after the meal, but instead was separated incorrectly without asking the guests at the table.
The guests in my party were disappointed. It could've been an "off" night, but it was noticed.
Fabulous Italian Restaurant, not your parents' spaghetti and meatball house. This is a gastric experience like no other. The menu is varied and imaginative. This is the best Italian Restaurant in Seattle.
Always delivers an excellent experience. Food, wine and service all met and exceeded expectations. Very warm and intimate setting for a pre-Sounders game dinner with close friends.
Great food and impeccable service! Creative menu and very clean presentation!
i had the opportunity to bring two of my children (18 & 17) out to dinner this past weekend as a way to celebrate family. we decided on carmines because i had been there on a date night once before with my husband. and again, the service was outstanding (our waiter even went next door because we really wanted arancini), the entrees delicious and the dessert divine. we will for sure be coming back again and again!
Sat in the bar area. There were not many people in this area. Received excellent service, food was excellent except for the Bruschetta which was literally tasteless. Service was better then last couple of visits. Osso Bucco was exceptional!
Everybody was so welcoming upon walking in, we were greeted by every person we came across and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I were there for our anniversary and we loved the handwritten card on the table. Very attentive and accommodating, Can’t wait to come back and try new dishes!
Great food and service as always!
As always, a great meal, truly one of Seattle's hidden gems
Had a great time with my boyfriend celebrating Valentine’s Day. Joe was excellent and the kind of server that you always want. Thanks for the great service and time.
I forget about Il Terrazzo as it is located away from most of our activities, but this dining experience reminded me that it is one of the finest restaurants in Seattle. Great food, ambience and superb service. We can't wait to return!
Awesome. Off the charts!
Where do I start? Went there with friends who were living down the street so it was a short walk to the restaurant. We were seated immediately and our waiter, Mido, came over to us and was as charming as helpful. After ordering cocktails and a bottle of wine, he ran over the specials. We got salads and since we had been eating nothing but seafood (of course, this is Seattle), I ordered the Osso Bucco which came with fettuccine but I opted for some risotto. The squat, succulent meat surrounded a wide bone which had nestled in the middle a huge nugget of bone marrow. Man, this got me excited and the fall off the bone meat was sublime. My wife ordered the rack of lamp which rivaled some of the best restaurants in the world, no exaggeration. After some delicious sorbet and coffee, we literally floated back to the apartment in a food coma.
This was a special birthday event. WE had drinks at Intermezzo then dinner at Carmine. All was great except the food. Presentations were fine but overall the food was bland and uninteresting. My pasta could have come from a box. Pork chop was cover in a sauce that was bland. We ordered scallops which my wife couldn't eat as they were unappetizing. Though we did not complain, our host was gracious and didn't charge us for the scallops. That was well done. However, given the plethora of great restaurants in Seattle, we will not be back to Carmines.
Our waiter for the second time was excellent
Sorry I forgot his name. He has taken care of us twice now. Everyone is so friendly the valet guy is awesome.
Excellent food and even better service. Il Terrazo is the premier date spot and we selected Valentine’s Day to visit and have a wonderful dinner. One of the best spots in Seattle for an adult meal!
Had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. Our server Mido was very welcoming, knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and gave us a great wine recommendation. The atmosphere was great and the food was outstanding.
Cioppino was highlight and worth coming back for....wife's double cut pork chop filled with
apples was incredible..(well she shared one small bite)....of 8 people celebrating our annual
Valentine's dinner....all of us raved about what we had (6 different main courses)
The staff at Il Terrazo Carmine were helpful and professional. They were attentive without intruding on the meal. The food was very good and, much to my surprise, the special with steak & risotto came with far more meat than is normally included in a restaurant's special. The mushroom appetizer might be our favorite though; absolutely fantastic & portioned perfectly for 2 to share.
Love Carmine’s and enjoyed meeting the next generation.
Best Italian food in Seattle, Great service also.
Our favorite restaurant! Food is great, ambiance unbeatable, wait staff is obviously professional and polite, restaurant is beautiful! I cannot think of anything I don't like, except for the parking which is a little confusing.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambiance. Consistent with all the times we have gone to Il Terrazzo in the past!
This restaurant was disappointing. Our appetizer and main courses were all pretty bland and mediocre. My fiance got the duck as a main course, and it was so dry, and didn't really taste like duck. There have to be way better restaurants at this price point.
Everything about the evening was delightful. Our waiter was professional , the food delicious as always.
Everything was perfect, as always- food, service, music, flowers, decor and lighting. I want to take up residence in this restaurant.
Flew back to Seattle to spend a weekend with wife and made sure we arranged reservations here before our trip. Excellent Italian food and impeccable service.
We are long time patrons of Carmine's Seattle for special occasions, out of town guests, special treat, but this will probably be our last time there. Our favorite appetizer seemed to lack key ingredients, food was served luke-warm and fish of the day wasn't fresh; Duck was severely fatty and undercooked. Hostess offered to make $ amends but manager overrode her with his business card and an offer to "take care of us next time". This isn't the same Carmine's since his death, so we are in the market for a new special place.
As alawys, the food is great. Great place for special occasions
Outstanding as usual!
Birthday lunch. One of my favorite restaurants!
Service was slower than usual but overall a good experience. Food great, as usual.
