Sunday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
We picked this restaurant for my birthday celebration because their website listed gluten free pasta as an option — I can’t eat gluten or dairy. When we got to the restaurant and picked out what we wanted, they told me they didn’t offer gluten free pasta anymore. They then told us they only had two gluten free options on the menu. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing so we left. We won’t be returning.
We’ve been eating here for many years and always come back. We love the staff, the authentic Italian food and wine and the neighborhood feel. Always great!
Great dinner with another couple we had not seen in a long time. We were able to converse, always a pleasant experience here. Staff was attentive but not hovering, the food was fabulous as always. Just a great evening.
Good Service as always and lovely food. Enjoyed my starter main and sweet
Great homemade Italian. Small, quiet and a brisk walk from our hotel. We will return with enthusiasm.
Il Radicchio restaurant has a very friendly staff. They are attentive with prompt service, well prepared food and lots of choices for mid price wines. We go there frequently with friends and family, sometimes for hot meals, sometimes for great pizza.
Their seafood dinners are cooked perfectly and presented with colorful, tasty fresh vegetables. Italian dishes are hearty and flavorful.
The thin pizza crust and fresh toppings are always cooked perfectly in their wood fire pizza oven, and served hot.
Dessert list is short but always has delicious choices.
Service was exceptional but everything else was just OK. Not bad food but nothing memorably delicious.
We always love dining at Il Radicchio, we appreciate that it offers vegetarian choices. We enjoy the flatbread (free) appetizer that they give you - warm from the oven. It is so good to dip in olive oil and parmesan cheese, and for me this time, the tomato pomodoro soup - which was delicious. As my entree I had the artichoke stuffed ravioli (with a mixed mushroom broth topper) and it was excellent.
Summary: Great food, great service! I will definitely be going back.
Food: I ordered the penne salmone, my girlfriend ordered the gnocchi salsiccia e funghi, and her mom ordered the penne pollo. All of these dishes were delicious.
Service: Our server was polite and friendly, and our food arrived quickly.
Ambience: The tables were adequately spaced; the restaurant was quiet and not crowded at all. Do people even know about this place? They should.
Value: It's about $20 for a plate of pasta. Not an incredible value, but well in line with similar Italian restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this place, and I hope to go back as soon as possible.
The restaurant is small and cozy. Very cute. When I was there it was very quiet for it was November and an early dinner. Easy to converse. I had the lobster ravoili which was very good. My husband had lasagna and he really enjoyed it. Side salads were plentiful and reasonably priced. Good wine. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend to all.
We enjoyed our meals very much. The food is delicious and the service attentive but not intrusive.
Wonderful food, great people. We love this cozy place for Italian.
Super friendly staff. Food was amazing for all three I. Our party, and we may be going again tonight to try some other dishes. Good, lively atmosphere.
This is a great restaurant. My husband and I were having our carb up dinner for the Marine Corp Marathon.
Great food and quick service. We made reservations because it was night before MCM. Loved the ambiance....small and old building.
Outstanding lasagna! A neighborhood gem. If you walked by you would miss it but inside the food and service is great fir The Value!
As an Italian I vouch for the food. I have lived in the neighborhood for two years and I am happy I finally tried it out
Had a great experience! Food and service were awesome. Will definitely be going back!
Great pizza and pasta!
Friendly service from the minute we walked in... seated immediately and taken care of right away. Great meal-will go back again soon!
Great Neighborhood Restaurant. Good food and excellent service.
We were looking for Italian food on our way to the theatre in DC. We were pleased to find it so easily. They were welcoming and food was delicious. Our waiter was authentic, helpful in making our choices and very attentive. If we lived closer, this would definitely be on our regular dining out list of places to enjoy. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for good local cuisine.
Fantastic food, fantastic service. I will definitely be back for the pasta!
Amazing service and food!
Acoustics are bad. Very hard to have a conversation with someone at your table. Thought it was an Italian restaurant when it was basically a casual pizza joint. Food was okay. Service was great.
The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and it was an excellent setting for our birthday celebration!
Service was fantastic. Quick, pleasant, not overbearing and Sonya was a pleasure. Lasagna was delicious, tiramisu delectable and very good. Veal piccata was tough and the potatoes just so so. Overall, would go again and try something different on the menu. Price was super reasonable.
Great food but a little noisy.
Ambiance isn't fancy, but the food was great! Service was fast and friendly.
This place is hands-down the best Italian in DC, IMHO. The food is made to order, so don't expect to be in and out quickly, but take the time to savor the great flavors. From fabulous salads and appetizers to flavorful, comfort-food Italian that won't leave you feeling weighted down, I've never had a bad dish here. If you're not sure where to start, it's always fun to pick your own pasta, sauce, and add-ons, or go directly for the gnocci or salmon. The service is great, too...we especially love Eddy!
An outstanding family run restaurant. This place has great tasting, authentic Italian food. If you are a pasta lover you literally can eat all you want.
Glad we made a reservation for this place. It was pretty busy around 7:45. It’s also small but has a good feel to it. The food was very good - good specialty options and a make your own option for pizzas and pastas. The make your own pastas were an all you can consume at the premises type deal. The pasta was cooked a perfect al dente and the whole meal was very affordable. Kept wanting to come here for awhile so I’m happy we finally stopped by!
A rather unassuming place, looking more like the corner pizzeria that a very good Italian restaurant. The food is what you come for, very tasty and fresh. The create your own pasta (has a different name) is pretty much guaranteed to be a social experience as you mix and match sauces with your dining companions. We try to hit this place every time we are in town.
This has to be the best restaurant in Arlington. Claasic Italian fare, not fancy but absolutely delicious.
My friend and I just happened upon this place and were so happy we did! Definitely will go back!
Every time. I go, I’m always reminded that I should eat here more often. Great menu and the build your own pasta is terrific.
We loved the place! It was our first visit, and we were very impressed. Our server was Marcello, and he was terrific! We liked the restaurant so much that we returned the following evening for dinner; Marcello was our server again.
Great food and service! Love the atmosphere and the staff
Server was nice and knowledgeable about their food. Wine was from Italy and very tasty. The house salad and Lobster Ravioli was very very good!
Last night of our stay in Rosslyn Arlington and have to say this was our best dinner of the week!
