Amazing Italian food! I had the special pasta with lobster and it was to die for. My date had the sliced steak and fries with a side of brocollini. Also absolutely delicious. Our server Marissa was a sweetheart and so much fun! We will definitely be back.

Great service and great food. I had the gnocchi with meat sauce which was amazing and the House made cheese bread which when dipped in the marinara sauce tastes like good pizza. Lots of different seating options and a cozy bar. Every staff member we met was kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

This place hit on all levels. Beautiful Bar. Great ambience. Love the oldies music playing, and not tooloud, just perfect. The food was very good. I had the short rib and my wife had a very good burrata lasagna. The service was also very good.

Absolutely blown away by everything! I eat out a lot, and every part of my experience exceeded my expectations... the cocktails were awesome, Jimmy Two Times and Romance Language, Artichoke was phenomenal, Burrata Lasagna was crazy good. The bartenders and waiters were so fun and nice too! Great time :)

The food is excellent!!
I love the Brussel sprouts, meatballs, garlic bread and cheesy bread. My favorite is the salted caramel ice cream dessert.
Service is always friendly and it’s part of the lettuce entertain you rewards program.

For a LEY restaurant, this was a disappointment. Food was good and well prepared, but here was nothing remarkable about any of the meals we ordered. The restaurant was packed on this Friday night and people were having a good time. If you are interested in a place that is vibrant with decent and predictable food, it fits the bill. But in this city there are so many more interesting options.

The food was wonderful. If you are tired of all the great Chicago steakhouses, this Italian place was excellent. Our table had 4 different dishes and they were all tremendous. From the lasagna to the short ribs, everyone was completely happy and satisfied with the meal. Our waiter Eric was attentive and a joy to have. Can’t wait to go back here again.

Love this place! We are usually there early and it’s always pretty empty. I hope it gets busier later. The service is great and so is the food. Love the garlic loaf appetizer and every pasta dish I’ve tried has been wonderful.

Great environment and comfortable seating. Very loud but part of the show and truly expected. Our waiter was great. He was very attentive and patient with those who could not make up their mind. We ended up with the family style menu for a group of 7. Too much food and went home with many leftovers. I would absolutely go again and recommend to anyone wanting great Italian food when dining in Chicago.

The window seat would be best but it was reserved. Nice soft Sinatra was playing, lighting was dim but not too dim. We had salad, bread, lasagna, and short rib. Everything was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back. A great date night shot for sure.

Our family of 4 ordered the family dining option. I felt is was a great value even though I knew it would be too much food. We had the rigatoni with vodka sauce, salmon, chicken limone, & the lasagna, we also had salad, cheese bread, calamari, and meatballs. It was a ton of food. The entrees were amazing!!! I would definitely come back. I thought the lasagna was the best ever, chicken limone with charred lemons was So flavorful. We brought home the left overs & have been noshing on it for two days. So yummy!

il Porcellino is BY FAR my favorite Italian spot in the city. The food is always delicious, the music is always fantastic (think oldies, good vibes), and the service is top notch. Whether I'm dining for an occasion or just because, everyone always treats me with so much kindness and attentiveness - the waiters/waitresses, servers, bartenders, everyone is amazing! You just don't get service like this many other places. And the food is always incredible - whether I stick to my "usual" or try something new. il Porcellino, thank you for being such a wonderful place to relax and dine!

All I wanted was a straight spaghetti and meatballs dinner and this place definitely delivered. The red sauce (I believe it was a vodka sauce) was delicious, as was the six-layered lasagna my husband ordered. I heard the cocktails were hit or miss but decided to give the Jimmy Two-Times a try. It was a wonderfully tangy rye & grapefruit concoction. The ambiance is very old school and intimate and the waitress was very helpful with describing the menu options to us. It’s classy without being pretentious and laid-back without being rowdy. We’ll definitely be back.

Old school in a good way. Sinatra in the background, nice wine list that is fairly priced, dinner like NoNa would prepare, attentive but not intrusive service and a good list of Amaro's.

The food was amazing, and the service was phenomenal. The burrata lasagna was delicious. Great ambiance. The cocktails and the bar need improvement. If you want great food with a glass of wine, go here. You will not be disappointed. If having a great cocktail with dinner is important, look elsewhere.
