This was my first time visiting il Porcellino, but it won't be my last time!

I loved the lighting and the music. I danced in my seat the entire time I was there. The music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation though.

Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. The whole loaf garlic bread has to be the best garlic bread that I have EVER tasted. I would return just for that.

I don't know if Lobster Ravioli was on the menu only as a Valentine's Day special, but I hope that's not the case. Because I would like to order it again. Delicious.

Can't wait to eat there again soon!

We came here for Valentines Day and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. We tried the lobster ravioli special and it was incredible. We can not recommend il Porcellino enough!

Love the look of the place. Food was good but not great. With the atmosphere and reading some reviews, I had a higher expectation for the food. Will try again one more time some different dishes because I liked the atmosphere. Very reasonably priced also.

My husband both had the lasagna and it was very good especially with the two bottles of wine we finished with another couple.

Waiter did not give us all the specials for the night 1 of 3 only. Felt rushed by staff even though we weren't there long. Food not as good as usual. Disappointed.

One of our favorite places to dine when me and my daughter meet for dinner. Service is always outstanding, which is just as important to me as the food. The portions are perfectly sized and reasonably priced. Great cocktail menu and wine selection. Will stay on our ‘go to’ place!

They were running about 30 minutes behind on reservations.. but the manager Addy was friendly and made up for the wait. Food was amazing, we will definitely be back.

As usual everything was amazing and perfect. We are always treated like royalty when having dinner or stopping by for drinks. We have spent my wife's birthday here for the past 5 years and everyone is always excited to take care of us. Thank you all for the terrific service. We will be going back as soon as we are able to get sitters for our 4 boys. It is our number 1 spot to go, so again thank you for a fantastic evening!

Given that it was restaurant week and the restaurant was packed, I will forgive some of the errors. One side item was forgotten and my wife’s birthday dessert was forgotten (even though I noted it in our reservation, checked with the host upon arrival, and mentioned it to our waitress). They did agree to comp both the forgotten side and the dessert, but when the bill arrived, only the side was comped and I had to send the bill back to be corrected. This was not our first time eating here and it’s normally very good. I’ll chalk all of this up to Restaurant Week!

The best thing was the appetizers! Omg so good!!! The fried calamari and the Brussel sprouts with bacon are a must! The service was okay as far as the waiter he was very welcoming but the wait for drinks, food and dessert was very long. We all ordered the lasagna from the recommendation of a close friend but we weren’t very impressed. The vibe was very good tho

Host sat us upon arrival of our 5:00 reservation. Although it was fairly empty when we got there, we were seated at a table for two against a wall. We had to squeeze through chairs to get to our seats, it was also a tight squeeze for the wait staff as well. Our food was absolutely delicious! We shared a salad, the house special lasagna , and chicken Vesuvio. All were generous portions, hot and delicious!
Definitely will return !

Il Porcellino was a vibrant delicious experience. The garlic loaf of bread was the best I’ve ever had. Moist dripping with cheese and garlic. The lasagna was one of their specialty and exceptional. We were able to share that. We had a Caesar salad which also was memorable. The 60s and 70s music was a lot of fun since that was our era. Overall I definitely would recommend the place. I’ll be back to Chicago soon. O
