    Absolutely incredible! By far the best Italian food I ever had. I came from out of town and I will for sure recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Chicago. The service was also amazing 10/10 (:

    I really appreciated the quality of the food, service and the ambience. I've found that typically Italian restaurants in Chicago can be very loud and the food a little to flavorful. But I found il Porcellino to be a charming place and the food to be fantastic. Our server was also incredibly attentive.

    We had to tell the waitress 4 times to bring more wine. No bread? That’s ridiculous for an Italian restaurant. If it is not included then tell customers at the beginning so they don’t have to sit in their meals waiting for some bread. And the restaurant was not even busy. It was at 5pm.

    Il Porcellino is one of our favorite places to eat in Chicago. We sat at a high top table in the bar area and could enjoy the Happy Hour. The cheese raviolis and Pappardelle alla Porcellino were excellent. We ended with the bomboloni dessert...yummy! Thank you for the great meal!

    Kale salad had WAY too much peperoncini, no pistachios. Lasagna was pretty good but not for all the hype. Service was ok but place was empty so should have been better

    I went to Il Porcellino years ago and the Lasagna dish left a mark forever! While visiting Chicago I convinced my husband to come here to try the Lasagna. Sadly they changed the dish a bit and, while it’s still incredible, it was not the same recipe! Do I recommend it? Yes. Do I miss the old recipe? Yes. Regardless, the food was incredible and we had a great time. Our waiter was absolutely impeccable and very very nice! We’ll be back!!
