Ponte opens its doors in one of Toronto’s fastest growing, and most diverse neighbourhoods with a simple mission: To be a dependable local establishment that serves and grows with the families, businesses and residents of Riverside and Toronto proper. We invite you to join us in celebrating great food and culture at our new home at the eastern foot of the Queen St. Bridge. Our belief is that great service and delicious food is paramount to the dining experience. We hope to exceed your expectations. Our fresh thinking on Italian cuisine is present in our seasonal menu dishes as well as in our many fresh made daily specials. Beautiful place, nice environment, stylish audience, knowledgeable waiters, amazing chiefs, according to the food that was ordered. If you want to have a conversation inside, be prepare to hear a bit of music and other people interactions...Definitely the place to come back.

The gnocchi in pesto was like soft, melt-in-your-mouth, flavourful pillows! Such good complimentary crusty bread to sop up the pesto too!

We had a really nice time, it was a Tuesday so not busy at all but we were with good friends drinking good wine with good food. What else is there. Service was on point and friendly.

First time dining at Il Ponte and I cannot wait to go back. Excellent personalized service !! Giancarlo was amazing ! Food suggestions were fabulous....listen to what he suggests and you will be happy and fulfilled !! The appies....grilled octopus and the calamari !! I could have eaten that all night long....and had some wine with it too !! I am very much looking forward to trying other menu options next time. The pasta dishes were enjoyed by all at my table. We shared creme brûlée dessert.....delicious !! and the complimentary digestive liqueur was appreciated. See you next time !!

Five of us went to celebrate our friends birthday and we all had a marvellous time. From the moment we sat down the service was above and beyond and made us all feel special. We were told the specials and he then said we could basically have anything we wanted. The food was very good and tasty. We never felt rushed which was great. We all loved the evening and will go back . Thank you for a wonderful evening.
