Very nice restaurant. Out of the way but beautiful views of Tremblant mountain and lake. Excellent service and food was great as well.
Holoday family dinner
My husband and I usually love the place but this time service was so terrible we left before even ordering our food.
Very disappointing. We decided to eat here at New Year’s eve and in spite of the menu sounding fine, and inconsistent ratings we took a chance. It was like something overall was not right - the prime rib at jus had no jus, or horseradish. The vegetables were oddly seasoned and the buffet was oddly small. The bus boy spinning the tray, the odd coat check. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It has potential but needs a chef to guide it / some serious investment and the service needs help.
Mediocre food and service started off well but big gap of time between salad and meal.
The wheels had fallen off the night we had dinner there - not sure if this is a regular thing. The waitress was playing many roles and did her best at all of them but consequently the service was a big downfall.
The food, drinks & wine were good - no real complaints but because the restaurant was in a state of seeming like it was on the verge of closing down, it was a weird experience and we wouldn't go back.
The view is beautiful, and that made the evening.
Purchased a Groupon and surely not deceived at a rebate price. Nice quiet location and food was very good. We would not hesitate to go back specially at a groupon price.
Interesting location with nice view during the day (just darkness at night). It is quite a ride from Mont Tremblant village: not by distance, but by time due to road quality. The restaurant is elegant without being imposing (neither it is refined)
We had a reservation at 7:30. The sole waitress told us that she won't be able to even take our orders for 20 minutes. More than half hour later my wife fetched a pitcher of water from the kitchen for the dehydrated family.
Things did not speed up from there. Food was good but not great. Wine was ok. Prices a bit higher than the experience mandates.
Our waitress worked unquestionably hard. She also apologized and our sole dessert order was on the house. Still, the dinner took considerably more than 2 hours. That may have been more welcome couple of decades ago (though -- call me a brute of you must -- even romantic dinners should not outlast their welcome and cut into the night), but not with tired kids: we chose this place because of the reservation so that we can stay on schedule.
And speaking of the reservation: our on-line booking was not logged and I got an email stating they missed us showing up. Well, let's take that as a compliment: apparently even hours of our company was simply "not enough."
great food , the table d'hote choice menu was quite rich in quality, polite staff and awesome ambient, table very nice set up, service all over very friendly
Restaurant was ok. It was very cold temperature wise.
We went there after visiting Mont Tremblant on our anniversary. We had a Groupon voucher, which cost us $60 for a three course meal for two people. You are free to choose any item on the menu, and each dish comes with large quantity. Everything we ordered tastes great, and I especially enjoyed the creme brulee. The service was very good, although there was a little bit of waiting before the first course. Our seat had a nice mountain/lake view, which I imagine would be stunning in fall/winter (we visited in the summer).
I'd say, with the Groupon deal, it's a big bang for your buck.
I had purchaced a groupon for this restaurant and thought it would be much better. The food wasn't very good and the service was slow, despite not being very busy. The staff were friendly though. I would not go again.
The view was very nice. When we open the windows after our dinner we had a nice breeze and able to take the beautiful sunset. The server was very friendly and se had great service. I would recommend to go early and weekday. Not too busy and had an enjoyable evening.
This location is away from the village. Even if we were there during a long weekend (canada day) only one server was there for the whole restaurant. Food very average and very limited wine list. Other places to go in Tremblant to eat.
Martine, our server, was wonderfully attentive. Food was delicious, especially the creme brulee and filet mignon
Some feedback wasn't very kind to this establishment and we almost canceled our reservation. Glad we didn't, the service, view, and food were amazing. We were the only family in the restaurant but it is off the main drag of the village in what seems to be a time share/condo community. The escargot is amazing as well as the other items we are that evening. (Walleye, shrimp linguini, and penne bolognese). Amazing time and dinner!
Great views. Great food. Very reasonable. Understaffed for servers meant relaxed pace.
We had a group of 9 including 5 kids and chose this restaurant because it was easy to get a reservation. The place was almost empty which made it seem sort of desolate but the view was spectacular and the service was excellent. The food was solid and better value for money than most restaurants in the area. The kids did not like the Margarita pizza but the rest of the food was well received.
Did not enjoy this restaurant very much. Service was okay, but not great. Food wasn't too impressive either. Had the Parmisiana breaded lamb.
Family dinner on St. Valentine's Day was a nice treat. Two young boys, mum and dad. Good food, great service.
enjoyed except for a 4 year old child. Parents did nothing to control and child roamed restaurant, making noise, climbing under tables, etc. Restaurant manager did nothing including talking to parents. unacceptable.
The service was good and the interior was casual elegant. But the menu was not all Italian with half of the starters French such as onion soup and escargot. The pizza was very under cooked and the grilled Italian sausage was underwhelming. However the Spagatini Carbonate was excellent as was the fish special.
Wonderful, warm, welcoming . Food and service were terrific.
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Three of us had the DELICIOUS osso bucco with risotto, I would highly reccomend with the escargot to start. Will definitely be back!
The view is wonderful, the food is good, but there was one waitress for 10 or more tables. I felt sorry for her, but we spent most of the evening waiting. Ruined the experience.
Located in Cap Tremblant, about 10 min away from the resort. Very easy parking.
Warm service. Very accommodating.
We felt very comfortable with 4 small kids (total group of 12).
Good variety of food with a strong focus on Italian dishes. I definitely recommend the Ossobucco, served with risotto. The Tiramisu was also very good.
Reasonable wine list. Reasonable prices ($40 to $50 for the table d'hôte).
Amazing views of the sunset over Lac Mercier if you get a table on the covered terrace.
Definitely a place to come back to.
Unfortunately, this is one of the few restaurants in Tremblant that uses OpenTable. The menu seemed very good. When we arrived, I thought I might have a problem getting a table, but we were the only ones there. I mean the ONLY ones. No one was already dining and, during the entire course of our meal, no one arrived and was seated (this was during prime dining time - Sat night, during holidays, from 7-9pm).
The service was very good (not sure if its always this way or because we had the restaurant to ourselves). I had the duck which had a good taste, but the center was ice cold. My sons had the pizza. I'm a pizza freak and love even bad pizza. This pizza had absolutely not distinctive task….I wouldn't order it.
Also, not the cheapest place in town.
Overall, disappointed with the choice. Find another place and wait the 45-60min..it will be better than being seated immediately.
The food is really ordinary and needs alot of improvments.....Had the Ceasar salad and the Penne Arrabiata which were very bland, the noodles weren't cooked al dente. My husband had the veal parmigiana and he said it was the worst he ever ate. It's a nice restaurant and our server was so nice and attentive. We were really disappointed.
After reviewing the menu before our arrival I felt there were plenty of options for our party of 12. Looking forward to a nice italian meal after a day of skiing. When we arrived we were told there was a specific menu for the holiday week. It was fine but not great especially for a group of 6 hungry teenage boys. They should have told us in advance of the menu change. The food overall was fine but I think they made a big mistake with their holiday menu.
Great view and personal touch service
Attended Sunday brunch. Spectacular view, friendly service and food was beyond expectation. Would go back in a heartbeat.
The food is very good. What you really go here is for the incredible view from the large covered space that extends from this building. There are tall sliding windows that were open on all sides for the summer. We ate in the splendor of the Laurentian Mountains with incredible views that never get old. Service was warm and informative. The dishes were more homestyle italian with fine fresh ingredients. Romantic?.....Oh Yes!
The food was excellent and the server was very nice.
The service was too long and we waited 1hour before we got our wine and appetizers
After a day of ski with the kids , it was very too long for them and for us to wait and when the food arrived , they were too exhausted to eat.
We had to go back to the condo to get them to bed .
A place to visit !
Food was absolutely terrible, service unbelievably slow. A shopping mall food court would be better
The menu is varied with an excellent Table d'hote and a great special that 2 of us took advantage of. The food was well presented. Portions were appropriate. It is a very scenic spot but once it's dark it doesn't matter. We found it cool but the location is floor to ceiling glass on 3 sides and the restaurant is located over the entrance to the complex so in winter- dress warmly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Il Pinnacolo. The view was spectacular looking out on to Mont Tremblant all lit up at night it was so beautiful especially with a full moon in the sky too. We had a reserved table right at the window so that added to seeing the view so well. Our waitress was excellent explaining the menu and giving the kids options and recommendations. Her service was attentive and timely. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. After a day at the ski hills it was a lovely finish to a fabulous day. We would definitely recommend eating here at the Cap Tremblant Resort restaurant!
Les plats que moi et mon amoureux avons mangé manquait de ''pep''. Le goût des repas laissait à désirer mais le dessert était délicieux. Pas assez de choix au menu pour un resto italien.
