Fantastic food and service.
The atmosphere was just right as we were given a seat near the window.
The food was given very quickly and was delicious to eat.

Although the food and ambiance was wonderful, the service was not terrific.

This is our favorite restaurant and it never fails! Food and drinks are always great, professional wait staff, with little turnover. Perfect location in Beverly Hills for an after dinner stroll. We’ll be back.

My favorite Italian restaurant

Amazing waiter, amazing table, amazing food & amazing wine!!

I cannot understand why so many people go and suggest this place cause the food and the service are terrible! Me and my friends got as appetisers tuna and salmon carpaccio, both with no flavoure, as a main courses we got salmon, branzino and cacio e pepe pasta, the pasta was ok but the fishes were really bad and not fresh at all! We paid a lot for nothing. I will not suggest Pastaio to anyone!

Il Pastaio was recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint. It is a bit of a tight squeeze as the tables are really close together, but that only adds to the ambiance. The food was amazing, and I was a little sad when my dish was done. When we are back in LA again, this will be our go to restaurant.

Great location, beautiful people, the best servers and service, excellent food, wonderful wine collection and amazing atmosphere.

Il Pastaio is one of my favorite restaurant in Los Angles, CA ! The food is amazing, their famous truffle pasta is to die for you may request for it to be tossed in a cheese wheel right next to your table its so fascinating to watch! Warm pasta tossed in a cheese wheel and then placed onto your plate, when you thought it could not get any better then they shred some black truffle on the cheesy pasta! I do not exaggerate when I say it is to die for! Truffle is a very strong ingredient and they sure know exactly how to use it! They have incredible staff, everyone is so friendly and caring. They are so inviting and put their time into assuring that your are satisfied with everything! This restaurant is also very clean which I always pay attention to but find very few restaurants that I can trust with cleanliness. The atmosphere is also amazing! You get such a cozy feeling with the Italian music playing and the waiters and employees speaking Italian to one another. Makes me feel like I am in Italy. I recommend Il Pastaio to everyone that asks for restaurant recommendations. No one is ever disappointed. When in LA this is one of the top must try restaurants! Perfect for a date, a group outing, for special occasions even for a small family dinner with kids, it is defiantly a kid friendly environment. Here is some of my favorite things to order when there. For starters Prosciutto and Calamari Fritt. Main course, Linguine con Crostac ( Lobster Linguine), Truffle pasta, and when available their sea bass. If you are a soup lover their Minestrone di Verdure and Zuppa di Lenticchie is amazing! Favorite drinks to order, their house prosecco, mojita and dirty martini. Last but not least! Dessert and Coffee, you can never go wrong with tiramisu. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert and I have to try it at every restaurant I go to when its on the menu! Il Pastaio has the best Tiramisu. Of course a double cappuccino or latte to go with my favorite dessert. Hope this review was helpful!

So I got the lobster and crab pasta. Perfect. There was so much crab on it, I couldn’t even eat all of it!! Bolognese was probably the best I’ve had as well. Service was pretty good, no complaints.

Vacationing and wanted to dine al fresco and enjoy the beautiful weather service was fantastic our waiter was very attentive and the food was very good!!!

WOW!!!! The service to the food is phenomenal! I ordered the caesar salad to begin & it was quite large (definitely could be shared!) and then ordered the famous truffle pasta tossed in the cheese bowl.... I must say it was AMAZING & worth all the money!!

Very popular place. Highly recommend making reservations. Seating is tight. Service was excellent. It's located in the heart of Beverly Hills. You're surrounded by a lot of nice cars. Some revving their engines or accelerating real fast to show off but aside from that, it's great. Food is excellent. Public parking is available across the street. It appears valet is available after 6pm.

Great Italian food and great scenery. We saw multiple celebrities while enjoying our meal on the patio. Service was excellent from our Italian waiter. We will definitely be making a trip back here again.

Table available on time. Wait staff very good. Food was a little off tonight. I have been there before and recall food being better. Several dishes arrived lukewarm. ..they were sent back to kitchen and warmed up. Will try again.

My first time going there and we went on the patio. It’s not the best place to sit for conversations because the tables are really close together to each other but the food was good the service was great and I would definitely go back

Food was great, unfortunately the service was not. They cleared out our table while we were still working on our appetizers for the main course. They could have either asked if we were still eating or just left it at the table with the main course.

The food was decent and would have gotten 3 stars on its own but the service was horrendous. Our waitress was rude. We asked a question about the menu and she brushed us off and said to look at the menu. Just so unpleasant. On my way to the bathroom there were waiters and bus boys assuming the right of way. They weren’t even carrying anything and yet I had to way and move to the side each time one of them passed. No manners. They would have walked on me if I didn’t move out of the way. Save your time and money and go somewhere better- lots of places in that area.

Fantastic! Made us feel like regulars on our first visit. Extremely friendly detail oriented staff. A beautiful experience. Food was incredible. I had the Squash tortelloni which was outstanding. Fresh and flavorful.
