Il Mulino New York - Miami
luxurious Italian cuisine. Enjoy Il Mulino New York's authentic flavors and flawless service in its elegant dining room.
The restaurant is a bit hover hyped. The service is good but the food very average. Not a top restaurant for the location in my opinion.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and always considered it one of my favorites. On my visit the end of May for my sisters birthday, the food was very disappointing. I decided to give it a second chance by eating there this past Friday evening September 13. With my friend.
The wine server was very polite and efficient serving us a bottle of wine. We were served a hunk of cheese, no bread service which is customary,. One meal was ordered was veal Parmesan served cold and very dry and unappetizing looking. The The shrimp dish was substituted with lobster since they ran out of shrimp. The baked clams appetizer had some bad claims with a thin slice of lemon as well as being warm not hot.
The desserts came and were fine.
In addition no after dinner lemonchelo which had to ask for and served inappropriately.
The manager had interest in coming to our table, but our server was very apologetic, but helpful.
All in all we had a very bad experience and will not return in the future. This restaurant should have higher standards than they showed that evening.
I took my wife here for a date. The last time we were here was the night I proposed to her last July. As expected, the food and service was outstanding! We had a wonderful night.
A fantastic evening of cocktails, exceptional wine, and truly warm service, accompanied by outstanding classic renditions of our old favorites from West 3rd Street. What a wonderful night.
Music was too loud! Should be more melodic and low volume. I couldn’t hear my guests.
We went for the Miami Spice menu to the Sunny Isles location. Appetizer meat ball was dry, the veal piccata with mushrooms tasted blend .The presentation of that dish was not appealing either ! A brown blab on the plate. It did not come with colorful vegetables or something to offset that sad brown presentation.Dessert was fair.
Drinks by the glass were on the $$$$ 18 average.
Service was excellent.
The parking was a big surprise. We had the ticket stamped and still had to pay $ 13 for parking! After spending $50 on lunch, parking should be at least half off.
Il Mulino on South Beach is lots better.
Had not been here in about 7 years. The service was really good but they paced us a little too fast in between courses. Also, for the prices, food was just OK!
Visited during Miami Spice for lunch. Good food, professionally served at great price/quality ratio during the festival.
Wine list is good but pricey.
Well worth visiting
Went as 2 couples for a Miami spice meal and found the food almost inedible.
The veal parm came, as what looked like a pancake, but not as good. We sent back
The chicken scarpariello tasted like mashed potatoes. That to was sent back.
Filet was ok at best as was the shrimp dish.
Desert was fine.
This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant with upscale
On a 1-5 scale we gave it a 1.
Perfect place to have my Birthday dinner!
Kennedy is exceptional!
Great experience across the board. The service was flawless, the food was outstanding, and the ambiance is very nice!
Took my hubby for a late birthday celebration! The place was way better than expected! Staff is 5 out of 5.
Delicious food to die for!! Very romántic ambience! We will come back again for sure!!
Great atmosphere! Excelente service, George.
Amazing. Food was delicious and service was exceptional. Our waiter Ryan was super attentive.
We love this spot!
Didn’t do anything special for my boyfriends birthday when I clearly put it on the reservation. Food was very average. People assume the food is good because of its name, I didn’t think it was anything out of this works. Servers are just going through the motion. Didn’t try to make any connection with us. Sadly won’t be back.
Absolutely loved the place! Service was one of the best I have experienced in my life and the food was super yummy too! We went for Miami Spice so it was worth every dime!
Would recommend this restaurant very highly, exceptional staff, very good food, nice wine list and a New York style room with the perfect accent of Italy. Perfect
Outstanding in every way possible.
Food is delicious, waiters and all the staff are great people. Worth every penny.
We booked a table on the poolside which I highly recommend. This is a lovely location.
The service is very nice.
Unfortunately being very expensive the food is not at the level of expectation.
We had a great evening thanks to everything else than tasteful meals.
Stefano was the most attentive server. The food is out of this world and the ambiance transports you to Italy.
Serve and food excellent. Very noisy. A birthday song every 5 min.
Birthday. Great experience. Very professional. Wait staff amazing. Made celebration special.
We were so disappointed in IlMulino. We had been there so many other times and enjoyed the evening. This last time had mediocre tastings and small portions. The variety of dishes offered for Miami Spice had shrunk to a few selections. My friends Caesar salad had just a few small pieces of lettuce on the plate because she asked for dressing on the side. We will not ever be going back to Il Mulino.
Wonderful and delicious as always. The service here is never short of exceptional. Had my favorite, lobster ravioli with shrimp, which was delicious.
Excellent service, amazing food. So far the best Italian restaurant I have been to
We had the miami spice menu, which is incredible value! Everything on the menu was so tempting, and everything we tried was delicious. As always, the complimentary treats before dinner and the grappa after dinner were the perfect touch to make il mulino one of our favorite places!
Everything was wonderful
The food is fantastic also the service. Also beautiful atmosphere.
We ate lunch using Miami Spice menu. All the food starting with multiple bread items, tomato and garlic bread and fried squash, salas, with veal or trout for main entree, ending with bread pudding or cheesecake, were delicious. I was amazed what was included for $23.00. The only expensive item was $6.00 for coffee, but it was really good, and nicely presented. I am going on vacation but if I have time and waistline left, I plan to go again before Miami Spice ends on Sept 30th.
The best as always
The receptionist was a disaster, although I had a reservation, she was too lazy to attend us. Suddenly the phone rang and she was unable to attend myself. The meal has nothing to do with a gourmet menu. It was a kids menu. I am very disappointed with this restaurant, never ever again. Regards Diego
The best restaurant in town!
Everything was excellent from the service to the fabulous food!
Not happy that they added $50 within the bill as gratuity, but then suggested tips, I am sure hoping that I hadn’t noticed they had already added the tip. I’ve been there many times, and if I think the total is what I expect, I just add the tip and pay. I now wonder how many times I may have paid double tips - 40% ! The sole with mash is $90, and so not cheap to start. The frequent renditions of happy birthday, are loud and quite monotonous after a while - we had 5 on this visit - enough !!
This restaurant is NOT water front. It's in a resort and the restaurant is located in front of the resort pool. The food is good but if you're looking for water front ( like we were) this is not the place.
Mr. Luna was our hospitality host and was superb. We’ve been many times over the years. His service and experience was by far the utmost outstanding. We will definitely return with friends and request Mr. Luna once again.
Amazing service and delicious food!
I love Il Mulino in NYC but this is nothing like Il Mulino in NYC except for the prices. I wanted to love it but it just completely missed the mark. Oh well...good news is I live in NYC!
