Excellent meal and service. Beautifully made pasta and love all your pre appetizers.
Very nice !
Food was very good, service was lacking. Our 2 top was ignored throughout the meal. Never once was there a check back by waiter or Captain to see if the food was to our satisfaction. Completely forgot to offer dessert that came with the “Sunday Supper” and had to flag down a runner long after coffee was served to remind him about it. Staff seemed too interested in catering to larger groups and regulars…I own a restaurant and usually wouldn’t complain about service particularly now with many restaurants understaffed. In this instance they were properly staffed, just disregarded giving any attention to our table.
We were very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family especially for special occasions.
great food grest staff
The food, the service and the ambiance was so perfect. Very romantic ! I can’t wait to go back
Wonderful. And the pice fixed Sunday special was very reasonable.
Spectacular as always.
The lighting is too dim
My ossubuco delicious, my husband’s meatballs hard as rocks and looked uncooked in center which was red.
Not the best… overpriced
Excellent as always
Whatever you order will be better than it's counterpart elsewhere.
Amazing food and great service! Loved the pre-appetizers, such a nice & delicious surprise.
Great service and food.
Perfect for a special occasion or a meal to savor.
From the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out, we were made to feel like family. Staff extremely friendly. We were not rushed at all. We had the Sunday dinner special which was 4 courses. They also put out first a eggplant appetizer and a chunk of cheese on each plate with a delicious bread basket. Then came appetizer and then salad. Main course was excellent. One person had salmon, one chicken parmigiana, one veal milliners. All tasty dishes. Then each person gets a taste of 3 different desserts. Meal was great and will go back again.
First time at Il Mulino, service was good but food was well below my expectations. Bronzino was dry and tasteless. My wife had the Clams and white sauce, more garlic than clams so, pasta was over cooked and drenched. The other couple with us had similar experience and we had ordered truffle risotto for the table, horrible, we left 3/4 of the dish and didn’t even take it to go.
Your dollars are much better spent somewhere else.
Outstanding cuisine and service
Sunday supper special was terrific.
Been to both locations (NYC and LI) and food and service never disappoints.
I had the special - Veal Osso Buco which was delicious, it came with a side of rice but no veg and when I got the bill I was shocked to see it was $70!
Realize it is COVID and that restaurant as well as everyone else has raised prices, but $70 for this was bit steep. As reference, my wife had Veal Marcella which was $35.
Sunday Supper promotion provides four course dinner for $43. Good number of choices and good value.
Never disappoints always on the mark. The best Italian food on Long Island in my opinion.
As always the good and service was outstanding
I was disappointed. Service was average and I told the wait staff that we were celebrating a 40th wedding g anniversary and it was not acknowledged.
Food was good but not outstanding at such high prices.
Also in the past we received numerous complimentary appetizers. Not this time. Just a small piece of cheese and some garlicky zucchini.
Not sure if the changes are Covid related but the experience last night did not live up to our past visits and expectations.
The food and service is amazing
Great food. Delicious and unique. Service is spot on.
But crazy expensive. Kinda ruins the experience.
We were a party of 3 on a Monday night. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our appetizers. I made the mistake of not asking the price of the specials. I ordered stuffed Zucchini flowers. The order came with two flowers and cost $29.00! They were in some kind of caper sauce that was not good and were heavily fried. My entree was the Chilean Sea Bass Special with figs. As soon as the waiter placed the plate in from of me it smelled very fishy. The fish was not good. I should have sent it back but didn't feel like waiting for another entree. The figs were unrecognizable and resembled stewed prunes from a can. I brought the fish home and fed it to my cat. My cat was meh about the $60 fish entree. My companions each ordered Rack of Lamb and said that they said was just ok. We were here to celebrate a birthday and didn't stay for dessert as everything up to that point was not enjoyable.
Extremely OVERATED Restaurant. Not worth the $$$$$ in any way shape or form.
If you're looking for the experience of Italy without the travel, this is the place. Everyone is over the top nice, they feed you before you even have a menu handed to you and everything is DELICIOUS!!
Cannot recommend it more!!
Service was first rate and food was delish! One of the best Pasta Bolognese I’ve had in a long time. The Dover sole was fresh and cooked to perfection
have not been back for few years, but it was worth the return. Excellent Italian cuisine, attentive waiters. Always good, original owner, Ferdinando would be proud
Always great food and great service. Always consistent! Rack of lamb is probably the best on LI and this il mulino in particular does it the best!
I have not visited this restaurant in years. What a disappointment. Is this what fine dining has evolved to in the post-COVID era?
Father’s Day dinner! It was delicious
Great Food, last night I had my favorite Prosciutto and Melon, and then tried the Lamb Chops, that were Superb!!
Best meal I ever had
Food was excellent! Unfortunately the service deteriorated throughout lunch and ended horribly! I would never eat at this location if the waiter was there. I have never met anyone more miserable in my life. Again, great restaurant and great food, need new wait staff.
The dining experience is exceptional.
Food & drink is top shelf.
We had fish and it was prepared perfectly.
The service is impeccable and the food is always delicious. Specials are very expensive though.
