Il Mulino New York - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
One of my go to restaurants whenever I am in a city that has one. Been going there since 1998 since discovering this gem in Greenwich Village. The free appetizers before ordering are still excellent. The shaved zucchini is amazing. Want to learn to make it at home.
This restaurant was a true delight. Great Italian, lots of extras, very attentive service, good sense of humor with the staff, nonintrusive service, everything was absolutely lovely. Moderately to a little above pricing but worth every penny. Will return as soon as we can
Our favorite Italian restaurant in Vegas, it never lets us down. The atmosphere and service have always been amazing. And yes, the food is the best. My wife had the carpaccio and it was fresh and tasty as always. I had a shrimp dish this trip and it was delicious. Also, their marinara sauce is the best we've had. I always get a side of angel hair pasta with this sauce. Finally, you have to go for one of the homemade desserts and a coffee. What a great evening!
NEVER fails to amaze. EVERYTHING is beyond the 5 start rating. Bali (our usual "Captain") is impeccable ... not to take away from the remaining staff that are just on par. Have gone every time my wife and I have been to Vegas and have made it a friend/business gathering spot as well to which no one has been less than "Blown-away".
Dinner was absolutely outstanding! It started with a slice of parmesan cheese cut off of the round at your table, then sautéed eggplant followed with delicious bread. Then they asked us for our order! Tasting the selected Italian wine instantly brought me back to my last visit to Italy. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to outside of Italy itself.
Il Mulino continues to be one of Vegas top spots for authentic Italian food. The meal begins immediately upon arrival with several house appetizers and service is top notch throughout. While pricy, the portions are very generous and when you consider the extra appetizers and after dinner grappa or homemade limoncello on the house, it's actually a reasonable value. The ravioli with porcini mushrooms and champagne truffle cream sauce is to die for.
Food. Selection, presentation, portions, flavor Excellent
Service. It appeared our waiter forgot us. As we sat waiting - another noticed, came over and took our order. The same occurred as we finished our meals. It took time before someone noticed and cleared our dishes.
I assume we had that occasional miss by the staff. Disappointed with this evenings service, but not the meal.
They try to represent themselves as an upscale Italian restaurant- yet the music was loud rock music -really??
I told the captain two times that I was allergic to chili flakes and yet when I ordered the garlic bread it came with chili flakes!!! When I pointed it out, he replaced it with bread with raw garlic pieces on top and soaked in olive oil. Not worth asking for a new order again. The servers were okay.
They forgot to mention the ‘on the house’ appetizer had flakes in it as well. Will not return.
Upscale- at least ask people to remove their caps- doesn’t add much to the ambiance.
ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND'S EXPERIENCE AT IL MULINO WAS UNPARALLELED...FROM THE MOMENT WE ENTERED TO THE MOMENT WE EXITED, WE WERE TREATED AS IF WE WERE THE ONLY GUESTS IN THE RESTAURANT...IMMEDIATELY UPON SITTING DOWN, THERE WAS WATER IN OUR GLASSES AND COMPLIMENTARY APPETIZERS ON THE TABLE...THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE AND COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE POLITE...THE FOOD WAS THE GREATEST I HAVE EVER EATEN...THE CHEF'S TIMING WAS IMPECCABLE, AS WE ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING TO EAT BUT WE WERE NOT OVERWHELMED WITH OVERLAPPING COURSES...THE DINNER PORTIONS WERE FAR TOO LARGE TO FINISH AND THE STAFF POLITELY OBLIGED WHEN ASKED FOR A TO-GO CONTAINER...I RARELY PROVIDE FEEDBACK AFTER EATING AT RESTAURANTS, BUT I FEEL THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT AT IL MULINO DESERVE TO KNOW THEIR EFFORTS ARE NOTICED.
Lovely atmosphere in a mall setting. Before dinner, you are served with many complimentary appetizers, all delicious. Menu has an excellent variety. I had their mushroom risotto, absolutely delicious. The wine by the glass selection is extensive although some are quite expensive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We were not happy with where we were seated. They had us in the back corner next to the kitchen and bathrooms.
There were other tables open.
I felt slighted by our table and thus didn’t enjoy the restaurant.
They should be more careful of where they seat patrons. In fact they should do away with the table we were seated at.
