Il Mulino New York - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
This is our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. We go there every time we make the trip to Vegas. We love the classy, elegant atmosphere where you feel right at home wearing a jacket. This is a fantastic restaurant with excellent food and great service. I don't know how it could get better.
We wanted to try something new on our visit to vegas. This place was awesome. The ambience was great, the mood was cozy and sophisticated at the same time. The service was the best I have ever had in vegas. All our needs were met without the wait staff hovering. Plus they really knew the menu. The food was simply delicious. They brought out the best focaccia I ever had with a delicious cheese. We each tried a different course and not one disappointed. We were so full that we had no room for dessert. We did try the limoncello which came in a beautiful carafe made of ice. When in vegas I highly recommend you try this gem.
Il Mulino continues to be my favorite restaurant anywhere. The service staff is exceptional. The menu is amazing. I always order a half serving of pasta with my meal and never get any pushback for requesting an exception. The extra treats offered by the restaurant are fun. Do not miss an opportunity to try the house made infused grappa. I wish I could eat here every day.
Il Mulino is one of my all time favorite restaurants! My fiance and I have been coming to Il Mulino for years, and have never been disappointed! The service is incredible, all of the staff, waiters and bar tenders have been there for years and it shows. The meal starts with a piece of amazing Parmesan cheese, cut at the table from a large wheel, along with a few other bites. I wish I could say we have tried a lot of items on the menu, but we always get the same entrees- they are that good!
Been here many times and it does not disappoint. From the great bar tenders to the incredible service. Great menu and you can go off menu easily. They are there to help and service there when you need it but in no way too much. Cannot think of a better restaurant.
Our go to Italian restaurant in Vegas. The service is outstanding and the food is as well.
From the burrata appetizer or choice of salads to the amazing pastas (I had the orchiette with sausage and rapini) to the main courses including rack of lamb, osso bucco and seafood beyond compare. We had an amazing meal and finished with poached pears and some limoncello on the house.
This was an extraordinary unique experience. We went for lunch and we were the only people there. It was a 2:00 lunch seating so it was late but because of it we got extra extraordinary service! The portions were very large in the food was awesome! We also had a couple of drinks over there and those were also very tasty. I don't see how you can go wrong by eating at this
As always the food and service is spectacular. The homemade pasta noodles with vodka sauce are perfection . The veal milanese is a dish not to miss and it's presentation is exquisite. At the beginning of the meal fresh cheese is carved from a huge cheese wheel, Wonderful breads, brushetta and the most flavorful thin zucchini slices in oil and herbs are served. Such an exceptional dining experience. I go every time I am in Las Vegas.
The one restaurant that we *always* eat at in Vegas is Il Mulino, and as usual everything was top-notch. We were there for dinner on a Saturday night, and it was unusually quiet (although the fight was going on simultaneously). There were several birthdays during our time there, which shows how this is a great place to celebrate a nice meal.
Our service team was made of many familiar faces and were efficient, friendly, and professional as always. A Captain we've had a couple of times recognized us and came over to chat - so very nice to be appreciated.
The food here is always amazing, comforting, delicious Italian classics, no matter what you choose. Our only problem is not being able to eat enough! We have to split the eggplant app, then get half portions of pasta. The Pappardelle with Ragu is just to die for. I could eat it almost every day. We had the Tiramisu for the first time and loved it. It's an incredibly light version with a very light but flavorful cream and not too much espresso to overpower everything else.
Il Mulino continues to be our favorite in Vegas, and we'll be back.
The staff was super nice but the food wasn't good. We had many friends recommending this spot but it was not up the rave.
We were served fried zucchini and bruschetta as a compliment from the chef. The zucchini was cold, greasy and not palatable. The bread from the bruschetta was dry and oh, so hard to bite!!
We ordered one of the specials of the day: ravioli with mushrooms with a champagne and truffle sauce. The pasta was not well seasoned and there was no taste in the sauce. It was also extremely heavy. Dessert wasn't better. Tiramisu was average at best, the chocolate cake was too heavy and fudgy. The "zabaglioni" that supposedly came with it was nothing but what it was supposed to be. It was not bad, it was just not zabaglioni (or anything close to it).
The captain was extremely nice and welcoming and they did offer us a complimentary dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary.
Bottom line: do not go for the food. It's not worth it.
What a great time we had a Il Mulino – when you are seated, they bring you a chunk of grana cheese, bruschetta and fried zucchini – wow! And then they ask if you want an appetizer! I started with a refreshing negroni-like drink with proscecco. For dinner, Hubby got the veal osso bucco with risotto, it was just excellent, tender and full of flavor. I opted for the stracciatella soup, which bought back fond childhood memories, and the arugula salad. The soup was good, but very salty and the salad was light and fresh.
This is a very old school restaurant, there was a small army of folks serving, very proper (in a good way!) and the room was classic elegance. It was a Friday night, but there were not many folks in the restaurant, which was too bad. They are located in the new section of the Forum Shops at Caesars. We really recommend Il Mulino – it’s worth finding.
Been here before and thought it was worth returning too. It wasn't. While the complimentary apps were good, the rest of the food was sub par. I had a chicken dish. Two days later I still don't feel 100%. It was clearly sitting around for a while as the sauce around it was hardening by the time it was brought to my table. Overall, it was disappointing. Too many good restaurants in LV to go back here.
This visit was for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We live on the East Coast and first went to the restaurant in Atlantic City at least 4 times, which has since closed and it was the best. I do not feel the restaurant in Las Vegas, visited 2 times, is the same but very good. My disappointment was that my food was not hot it was just warm, I had to send it back and it came out just warm. I still highly recommend it and hope to get to the original restaurant in New York the next time.
Beautiful restaurant. Was so looking forward to our return after previous visits. I was terribly disappointed that I recommended it to our group of 4. The service was pretentious with the 'captains' etc. but once the order was taken they were invisible. The food while good was not up to previous standards. When finished it took us over 30 minutes to get the attention of anyone to get the bill. I had such great memories before and now am left to wonder if I would go back.
The food was delicious. The menu is old style upscale Italian food, but there is a reason people love Italian restaurants. When the ingredients are of the highest quality, dishes like Osso Bucco and pasta with vodka sauce become memorable. Yum! In addition, the service is perfect, and the wine list had many reasonable choices. Don't care for Las Vegas, it if I ever have to be back there, I'll go to Il Mulino.
Lobster ravioli is always my go to meal ! The specials offered each night sometimes exceed the amount of items on the main menu. Outstanding wine list. Unique wines from Italy, and stories behind how the wines are made. You will not leave hungry. You will experience fine dining from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. For me it's a hidden gem, off the beaten path but well worth every moment
