Private Party Facilities:
This restored 1728 historic farmhouse, adorned with candles and warmed by antique fireplaces, is home to several quaint rooms serving freshly prepared Italian fare. These rooms can be used either separately or in unison to host your event from 12 to 110 guests. Our stone Wine Cellar is open during those cold Northeast winter months near one of our fireplaces. During the summer, our Meadowlace Terrace opens to allow our guests to enjoy the good life under the sun, the moon and the stars. Since our inception in March of 2001, we have prided ourselves in creating food that is fresh, always giving great care in the selection of ingredients used to prepare these items. We are available to cater your next special event, day or evening, intimate or large. My family and I welcome all those that wish to dine in what we consider our home.

Il Fresco Ratings and Reviews
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!
It just keeps getting better and better each time we come here. Food is superb, drinks are solid & the waiters and waitresses are very attentive and friendly. Need to acknowledge waiter, John Carlo. He was SUPER!!!! Very attentive, patient & helpful. A GENTLEMEN!!
We had a 530pm reservation , the restaurant had a few people already seated. After being brought to our table we were reminded by the hostess ie: the great cocktails available. There was another couple already enjoying the appetizers. We waited for our server, we waited, no one came to take our drink order. We were not in any hurry but very slow service. After seeing the servers and others in blue shirts talking in another room my husband had to get up, go in the other room if he should order a cocktail from the bar. Another server “ not ours”. Promptly came and took our order. Eventually, our server came to take our order. Again, we wanted to order another cocktail and again the servers were chatting paying no attention. Food was good, service poor, no apology, and again we had to ask for the specifically check. They could have made an allowance on the check for cocktail or dessert for the poor service. No we did not ask to see the mgr. At that point we just wanted to leave. Expensive menu high pricesd drinks which we knew but poor service ruined our special dinner out. Tough to recommend again, we were here before but be quite awhile to come back. Should have called restaurant directly for better reservation as well, maybe would have had better t@ble and server.
This was our first time eating here. All we have seen are great reviews, and it didn’t disappoint! The food was fantastic! We were in the wine cellar and it was so cozy and perfect. The staff is fantastic and so friendly. I fell in love with the martini selection as well! We are already working to figure out when we will go back!
This is a charming restaurant dating back to the end of the 18th century. My wife and I have been always pleased. My only complaint is that it can get noisy since the restaurant is broken up into small areas due to the design of the original house. One loud couple can cause an issue. But, I enjoy the atmosphere and food. Very romantic setting.
My Wife and I visit Il Fresco fairly often and have had the pleasure of being served by Frank several times. This night was for our anniversary and Frank did a great job and even seated us in the wine cellar to help us have a truly great anniversary dinner. Always a great time at Il Fresco !
I have been here several times and it has always been great....However...my special of the day was swordfish which was very small and thin. Potatoes that went with it were so salty that I cold not eat them. When I told waiter he said sorry and took them away and did not offer anything else. The veggies that came with were steamed and bare...I felt like I was AT A TOTALLY different place from other times. VERY DISAPPOINTING, esp for the money!!!!
Food was delicious, just as it was the last time we were there. Be prepared to wait (they warn both on the menu and online that their food is made to order so be patient) but the food is more than worth the time it takes to prepare. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Not too expensive considering, either.
Have reviewed before and returning for the third time everything is still outstanding-the food, the service and the charming atmosphere of a historic setting. Family owned and operated, my only regret is that it is not closer but I will persevere as it is well worth it. Everyone who has joined us from family to friends asks how did you discover the great find. just referred by my son who must be following in his father's exacting standards but appreciative of fine cuisine. Try the shrimp or chicken parm, pastas, steak, fish and they are all outstanding. A can't miss restaurant in Orangeburg, New York.
Very attractive spot with a number of smallish rooms. Food is always very good and the service is excellent. Most, if not all, tables are filled, even on weeknights. A combination of the full house, almost too-prompt service, and the wait staff literally running through rooms can create a somewhat frenetic feel and a sense for the diner of being rushed to finish.
But still a go-to place for an excellent meal in an attractive space.
Food is always fresh and well prepared. I always have enough for next day's lunch ( big portions of food and drink). Although it can get quite noisy, the historic house with its fireplace and small rooms also lends itself to be cozy. The waiters are attentive and friendly.
Every time we have been to Il Fresco the food and service was excellent as it was on this visit.
This facility has a number of small dining rooms. This time we were seated in an area next to the entrance and exit from the kitchen. Aside from one table for two there was only a party of nine of the noisiest people one can imagine which, together with the small army of waiters and bus people tramping in a constant stream to and from the kitchen was loud and uncomfortable during our entire dinner. While I would return to the restaurant again I would insist that my party be seated in some other room.
