Service was attentive, food was excellent. Could get loud if Bar next door turns up the music but 6pm dinner was fine. Easy access to Broadway shows
We booked this restaurant as we were going to Phantom on Broadway. The kept us waiting so long - what was the point of booking - but difficult to go elsewhere at the late stage. We were stressed and rushed. Flying in from Australia! Get your act together and keep your tables free if they are booked. Don’t be greedy! Yum food. Shane about the rush.
Greta meal, fun servers and great advice... we are from out of town and went there before a show... perfect!
Always excellent! Price fixed menu a great value. Tuscan Ambiance , Italian music in the background, great wait staff makes the dinning experience wonderful !
Food was great and so was the service. Waiter new what to suggest to us. Very pleased.
Pasta was over cooked. Pizza was undercooked. Took 10 minutes to get a fork
Close to theaters and Times Square . Atmosphere is informal old Italian Wood tables without table cloths . Menu was limited and food was average quality. service was a little below average. It was not crowded and they were not attentive and had multiple . Everything we asked for took a while to get including bread.
There are better alternatives a little farther north although they may be more pricey
My husband and I have been here on a number of occasions. the food is priced at a great value and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming, thank you. We intend to return!
Best pre-theatre restaurant EVER.
La Pizza muy mala, al igual que las pastas
La comida en general mala. El servicio bueno.
La carta muy chica con pocas posibilidades de escoger más comida italiana.
Definitivamente no recomendable.
On vacation in NYC, wanted to try this restaurant. Had a wonderful time. The food was delicious
Pass this one by is my advice. Arrived to be seated 5 adults, clearly at a table for 4 while there were larger tables available. Others seemed to have a reserved sign, which is strange considering we also had a reservation. They pulled a chair up and we were cramped the entire meal. Soiled silverware, indifferent servers, and rushed meal. Bus boy lifting my wine glass as I was trying to drink from it. We also did pre fixed meal for a few of us but were not offered dessert.
The wine and food just not worth it, and a night wasted in the theatre district. Once they smashed us at that table, there was no turning back. PS the “reserved” table remained completely vacant for the entire time we were there. Less than eh
My daughter and I had a delightful meal at Il Forno prior to seeing a Broadway show. The food was absolutely delicious - she had a lamb shank and I ordered the price fix 3 course meal, with wild mushroom risotto as my entree. The food melted in our mouths, we were both super-pleased with our selections and the kitchen’s execution. The service was excellent, and the decor makes you feel as if you are dining al fresco. Highly recommended!
Food was delicious. The risotto was cooked perfectly. They had chianti which is always a plus for me.
My request for no dairy in dish was mishandled though redone fairly quickly. Salad was not sent out as ordered.
Looking for a pizza restaurant near our hotel between 5th and 6th Avenue on 44th St. This fits the bill well. Varied menu which suited our party of 6 with a mixed age range. Only disappointment was the screechingly raucous party of women at the next door table having an office reunion. Not the restaurant's fault but unfortunately the noise was the single most memorable thing of the evening.
Wonderful pre-show meal, good options of menus or entrees depending on your preference. Right across from a beautiful open market as well!
Dinner before Broadway show. Pizza was disappointing and so was the wine.
great food and service
We had confirmed reservations for December 16th at 6pm for 9 people. We got there at 5:50 and the hostess told us they have too many reservations. I asked so when can you seat us. We have tickets to a play at 8pm. She said again they have too many reservations and she doesn’t know when they can take us. Come back later. Absolutely could care less that we had reservations. They took walkins right before us. We said we would split up. She didn’t care. No manager would come to see us. Impossible to find another restaurant at that time in Times Square. Called on Monday. Left messages and sent email. No response. Obviously doesn’t care about customer service only filling seats. (Had to leave a rating for food or it won’t let me submit. To be honest never got to taste the food)
