IL FORNELLO introduced the GTA to Wood-Fired Pizzas and still makes the best Pizzas in town, from the classic Margherita to the popular Pepperoni to the gourmet Fig. The cozy dining room with table and banquette seating has a wood burning pizza oven as a focal point and whether enjoying a quick pizza or a full course dinner with the family, the friendly staff will make your experience special. Although the Pizza shines, the Appetizers, Salads, Mains and Desserts all deserve consideration. Favourites include Veal Carpaccio, Chicken Asiago, Beet & Arugula Salad and the Weekend Brunch features Eggs Bella Donna, Italian Panini, and Pizza del Sole with 2 sunny side up eggs on top. The Wine & Spirits list is extensive and affordable with Ontario and International wines and local and Italian beer. Vegetarians will find lots to enjoy and there are gluten-free pizza and pasta options available.
