We’ve been going here for special occasions Birthdays/Mother’s Day and really loved the balance flavor and sauce freshness of their Linguine Mare Chiaro (our favorite dish LMC). Yesterday, we celebrated my husband’s Birthday celebration and ordered some appetizers, drinks and the usual 3 orders of their LMC and we’re very disappointed. The dish lacks flavor, the sauce is too sour and it seems that the chef didn’t taste it at all. I did not enjoy my pasta and consumed a little bit of it.We are now doubting if it will be their standard now for their pasta.

2nd time eating here, both times food was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Noelia was friendly and professional. We ordered the calamari and minestrone as appetizers. Soup was very flavorful and fresh, the calamari was fresh and cooked perfectly, not chewy, rubbery or over fried like other places. Shared lasagna and pork chop entrees. Lasagna we both agreed was the best we ever tasted. Fresh pasta sheets layered with meat ragu, cheese, porcini mushrooms, & béchamel. Great flavor, and a nice sized portion. The large roasted chop was wrapped with pancetta (pork wrapped with pork, what a concept!) with a white wine demi-glace, served with a delicious pear compote and roasted potatoes. We cleaned the plates. Our only complaint was they were out of the spumoni for dessert which we were looking towards. We had gelato misto and profiteroles instead. 2 glasses wine, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 desserts. Was it worth over $200 (including tax & tip)? Maybe not, though eating out has gone up everywhere, but we had no complaints at all with food or service. Next time when we make a reservation we'll be sure to check ahead of time they have spumoni on hand, since in both out visits now they've been out.

We were originally seated inside right off the kitchen/bathroom at a small booth. It felt cheap. There was a sparsity to that area that when coupled with the color of the wood of the tables and brightness of the lights feels anything but upmarket. They moved us outside. I realize we'd only ever eaten either inside at the front of the restaurant or outside, both of which have much better ambiance than our little booth. This restaurant is definitely overpriced. The food is only ok, although the tiramisu was delicious. The calamari was dry and served with marinara that tasted like Prego. My husband's chicken dish was underwhelming (chicken with mushroom). My ravioli lucana was decent, but should have had more flavor. Again the marinara was only so-so. The service was totally off; it was slow overall, the server didn't know the menu well enough, and the team struggled to turn on enough heaters to keep us comfortable outside. We were about to pay the bill when the heater behind me was finally turned on.

This is a neighborhood gem. We know we can come here when we want a delicious italian meal in a beautiful setting, but also close to home. The outdoor patio is so inviting, impeccable with comfortable chairs. We started with the piato di salumi (salami board) which was just right. I had the insalata di pere (pear salad) with grilled shrimp and my husband had pasta, rigatoni alla vodka. All of it was delicious and well prepared. The desert, a spumoni gelato was superb. The service is very good. Younger, newer staff, but very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

The only complaint I had was with my server. He was also serving a big table behind us maybe 10 people and I understand its a lot so I just blame the lack of coordination from the managers. He was being sent back and forth from the party of 10 and pretty much forgot about us (part of 4)

Celebrated Mother’s Day a day earlier to avoid the crowd. Unfortunately, none of the staff even acknowledged me for the occasion! Anyways, nothing really extraordinary about the dishes. No complimentary bread like other restaurants offer, it’s $2 for a bland and cold bread. Calamari and Casarecce Pesto E Pollo had no taste either. My son enjoyed his Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The saving grace was Linguini Mare Chiaro very tasty but the clams and mussels were so tiny. Our server checked on us a few times. We thanked the guy who brought our food but no “you’re welcome” response. The price was reasonable but I don’t think we’ll dine again!

This place can be extremely noisy, especially when parents do not control their kids. Although this is not the fault of the restaurant staff, someone should speak to the parents about allowing their children to scream and run around the other patrons tables. This is not daycare. The staff's timing was off - drinks and starters came in a reasonable time, however, we waited about 25 minutes for our salads.

We come for special occasions often. I bring my elderly parents as often as possible all the way from Santa Clarita. Amazing service with amazing food-priced accordingly for the luxury service. Great patio destination--and romantic if you are seeking that as well! One of our favorites all time places!

Great service and a beautiful day sitting out on the patio for Mother's day! Our waiter was great and patient with us as we made decisions. When we got there it wasn't that busy but by the time we left, it was super busy and he still was great with us and even took our pictures! Food was good, my dish wasn't fantastic but just my opinion. Everyone else loved their dishes. Will always go back!

Treated my mom and sister to an early Mothers Day dinner and so please I chose Il Fornio! The food was delicious and our server, Bilge, was lovely and attentive. Will definitely return. Highly recommend the Spumone gelato 😋

Food were slightly below average until they brought the dessert. The custard was as still as a hockey puck. That’s not an issue exaggeration. I can’t believe that was served. Never again.

Food was good. Service was poor. Restaurant adds a 3% service fee on to the bill, then recommends an 18% tip. I wouldn’t mind if the service was good, unfortunately this wasn’t the case. I will have to think about returning to this restaurant.
