Good wine selection, consistently delicious food, attentive and friendly staff. I bring family and friends and am never disappointed. Great restaurant!
Delic as always with the best veal and clams! We will be back?
Love this place. Unfortunately my husband and I wanted a quiet evening but there was a table of 5 loud obnoxious men near us which made it less enjoyable. Next time I will ask to change tables.
I was truly impressed with everything from the service to the food wine selection was very good and I will be returning to this restaurant when I’m back in Long Island city
Family in from out of town
I love the old school Italian restaurant vibes. The waiters memorize the specials and recite them. The interior is homey and cozy while the exterior seating is in a garden with beautiful craftsmanship and paintings. The food is really good too!
Delicious food!! Excellent service, too.
Consistently an incredible dining experience with amazing food. Our server, Jonathan, is always so attentive, helpful and kind! Can’t wait to come back.
It was for my mothers day celebration and I enjoyed everything. We were running late after having a 7 month old it’s hard to be on time lol. But they were great about it and the service was good. I had a mango martini and it was so good! Also they had a special the lamb chops omg tasty! My husband and daughter had fettuccine with shrimp so delicious. I would definitely go back. The setting was nice as well as I love my pictures!! 🥰
Just go! This place does not get the credit it deserves.
Il Falco is a great Italian restaurant with formally dressed wait staff and a great selection. They gave a nice back patio for outdoor dining, and
The food is excellent, much better than other super expensive Manhattan places, the staff and chef came from Il Mulino and their service and food is even better.
Definitely recommend it, close to all public transportation and 5 different subways.
Food was EXCELLENT
The food was amazing. My entire family loved every dish! Thank you!
Amazing old school Italian restaurant, servers were awesome, and the food was top notch
Definitely Suggest the flambeed crepe
This is an unusual place. The wine list contained several surprising values. The baked clams, which are hard to ruin, were mediocre, at best. But the lamb chops and tuna special were exceptional. The ambience was reminiscent of an old school trattoria. But the 1980s pop music didn’t fit at all. It was a distraction that made me feel like I was at my senior prom, waiting for Molly Ringwald to walk in. The food was good enough to say I’ll go back. But I won’t rush to get there.
food was great. waiter not so much. also got sat on the patio and as much as they tried to keep it warm, it was cold out there. not their fault but if possible ask to be seated indoors
The food was good but the portion was very small. I ordered chicken parm and there were hardly any noodles
It was a terrific night with great food and wine. I highly recommend Il Falco!
Thank you very much Michael, it was so great to have you back with us
Great restaurant, friendly staff, wonderful food, and very accommodating of my friends and me as it was my birthday! Pretty warm out back with the heat lamps but it's covered and has minimal wind. It was 30 degrees and yet we were all more than comfortable in sweaters / jackets.
It was amazing! The food was fantastic! It was so flavorful! And the perfect portions!
One of our very favorite restaurants. Always great food and great service. Located in a charming townhouse this little gem is owned by the original downtown Il Mulino chef.
Exceptional, as always.
The food was great and the service was amazing.
The staff is very friendly. The service is excellent. Food is delicious. Portions are substantial. Prices reasonable. Will go back soon and recommend it tofriends.
Highly, highly recommended--especially during quarantine. You'll be in the patio--not on the street. And the food is as good as ever. A special night out.
I love the food at Il Falco. Very nice staff, comfortable patio seating, but it's really the food.
Just a couple of friends having a socially distant, outdoor dining experience. Food was delicious and all precautions taken. Love the outdoor dining patio in the back.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Waiters masked and tables were distant apart!
Hi Susan, Thank you very much for taking your time to review your experience with us. We hope to see you back soon with friends and family. Stay Safe
Always wonderful experience!!
Lovely sitting out in the courtyard! Tables socially distant! Masks worn. Excellent service! Superb and delicious food! A lovely evening!
Thank you very much on taking your time to rate your experience with us. We are delighted to hear you had a wonderful time, and hope to continue giving you more memories with your family and friends. We hope to have you back soon.
Easy & good spot in the neighborhood. For us, this was a casual, classic meal out despite the white table cloth service. Definetly will become a staple. In a time where outdoor dining is all we can do in NY it was especially lovely to sit in the back patio as opposed to right out front on the street.
The restaurant is pretty. The staff is ice, helpful, friendly and efficient. The food was so delicious. We are already talking about going back very soon.
Great, cozy restaurant with excellent food. Bar has "large" ice cubes which are perfect for mixed drinks. Pasta dishes are available in appetizer portions - fettuccini special with sausage and mushrooms was perfect start to the meal, followed by a special Veal loin chop ... don't pass this place up!
Second time dining here because we loved it the first time. Overall experience was wonderful. Great atmosphere wait
staff was knowledgable and class act and food was hands down delicious. This is truly a hidden gem in Long Island city.
This is a cute place with a large, delicious, traditional menu. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend!
The pasta appetizer o ravioli stuffed with mushrooms was outstanding. My snapper was superb and the furnaces also. All the pasta dinner were excellent. A neighborhood gem
thank you very much for taking your time to talk about your experience with us. I am glad you enjoyed your dinner with us, and that nothing disappointed. We hope to have you back soon with friends and family.
The experience here has changed from when it first opened and what I had been used to. I have been coming here since they first arrived in LIC. If you have been here before you will know what you normally expect. I will describe what has changed. You no longer receive complimentary apps upon seating such as the zucchini with olive oil and chopped tomatoes with crisp bread. The service was less attentive and you no longer get the feel of being catered too. Nobody offered to help with wine selection. Portions where much smaller and in the past they would divide up the plates by how many diners there are. This time they put it all on the table and portions where smaller and not divided up. The specials they usually read aloud where far fewer. The bronzino that we normally get as a whole fish was fried as a filet and was not mentioned when ordered. Very little attention was paid to drinks being empty and new plates/utensils. No after meal drinks where offered as in the past. I know this review sounds harsh but I come here because of the experience it provided since inception. They took the game plan from Ilmulino and brought it to LIC for a more reasonable price but this time that game plan was gone and the price felt undeserving of what was received. It went from an exceptional experience to just a slightly above average neighborhood Italian spot. I am not sure what caused this change but I hope sincerely they figure it out and bring it back.
I went there for Valentine's day and had the worst servi e and worst food except for one dish. We asked the waiter to take a picture when thinds where quiet but he said he was too busy. That was first strike, second aas we where the second person to order and the last person served from all thst was there. Our ceaser salad was so over dressed it was almost soup. Second strike was when seaver was trying to searver the person next to me, he saw my scarf on the floor and he just kicked it out of the way instead of just telling me it fell. Strike three my spaghetti with meat sauce was so saucy it was almost soup like. My wife had chiken with sausage and that was good. Waiter told my wife to have a drink when he saw her angry at the slow service. I got there at 6pm and got our salad at 8pm, two hours is insane. I was three couples who sent there food back for something. Lousy place, i hated it.
