Our “go to” Italian restaurant every time we go to Paso. The food is always fresh and amazing, the service superb and this time the owner was able to stop by our table and say Hello. The Chilean Sea Bass was the best I have ever had. Our server, Niki, was fantastic and so attentive. Just a wonderful night!!!!!!

Loved this beautiful, upscale restaurant. The only thing we objected to was our table placement. We were seated right in front of the hallway where the restrooms are. Not sure if it was because we were two women or not. Made the reservations almost a week in advance, too. A bit disappointing.

The homemade pastas we tried (Pappardelle and Ravioli) were amazing, as was the stuffed squash blossom appetizer. The whole meal was great.

In a word, the food is extraordinary. Our server was attentive and prompt, without making us feel like we were being rushed. There is no question in my mind why Il Cortile is consistently rated the top restaurant in Paso Robles.

Love the food, and service is top drawer. Even got to try the tenderloin carpaccio & cream sauce topped with shaved black truffles this time - WOW! The squid ink pasta is my go to favorite. Our #1 choice when stopping by Paso.

Worst "Fine Dining" Experience we ever had. 1. Booked weeks ago, received worst table in the house-next to service station. 2. Ordered $140 bottle of wine, wrong wine brought to table, servicer opened anyway and proceeded to pour-told we were stuck. 3. Server pushed and pushed us to order after we requested a slower pace to enjoy wine and appetizers. 4. Main course came out before we were finished with appetizers. 5. Rest refused to recook pasta. 6. Pasta was over cooked. 7. We complained to server about to fast of service- 8. Mgr came over and proceeded to lecture us, the customer on how to dine. 9. We were stuck with $250 bill, left our food and we were out in under 30 minutes. 10. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! We booked later seating so we could enjoy and dine at a relaxed pace.

We eat here every time we visit Paso Robles. They do an amazing job and have been consistent for the last six years that we’ve eaten there. There’s only a few really good restaurants in Paso, and this is one of them. Enjoy!

Outdoor setting for two. The table is too small, not enough room for standard meal. Think about table size 2’x2’ with water, wine, soft drink, bread basket and dinner plate. (X2) The insect level was almost intolerable. The establishment did not have any means to repel the flies. Small fans would have worked wonders. Service great, food excellent but crowded table and flying insect make repeat visits unlikely.

Service and waiters were great… price is okay but food were great I think should come salad or soup…, if ordered fillet steak, veg and potatoes cost 51.00 should come salad or soup also extra bread cost 5.00 I don’t agree for extra cost French bread…. Sound like greed for little thing extra French bread or cracker cost…. Silly smile

Cute restaurant located downtown. Parking is easy. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Burrata crostini’s which were delish and the stuffed zucchini flowers. I had to try the osso buco after reading all the fab reviews. It was great! The mushroom risotto was good, I am not a truffle oil fan tho. Hub had the wild boar ragu which was also amazing. It was really loud in the restaurant. Couldn’t really talk to eachother. Overall it was great food

Loved the espresso martini, the manager was attentive, the waiter was ok (not especially personable), the beet pasta with quail ragu was tasty however the osso buco was tender but the sauce was different and not as great as last year’s.

a very nice restaurant. We were seated along the west wall of the restaurant. Our table was tiny. A fine restaurant should provide tables of adequate size. I will not return if I have to sit at such a tiny table. Even the waitress admitted that it was too small.

Fabulous Italian food!!! Best octopus in any restaurant worldwide! Homemade pastas just like in Italy plus inventive ones like the beet and quail fettuccine too. Excellent service by Kim. Our #1 in Paso where there are many good restaurants.

Love this restaurant. We will make a reservation every time we visit Paso Robles. Warm atmosphere, great service (Kim). Love knowing the owners are right there making sure your experience is the best. And the food, everything from the appetizers (bruschetta with carmalized fennel and basil) to the pasta (fettuccine salsiccia is my favorite). Everything was so delicious, authentic and consistent. Always a great experience!!

We loved this restaurant! Started with the beef carpaccio with black truffle. The BEST carpaccio I have ever had. Entrees were parpadelle with wild boar Ragu and the osso bucco - both amazing. Well done!

We were very pleased with Il Cortile. They sat us immediately, the ambiance was good, but loud. Our server was excellent! She explained a few of the dishes for us, and provided excellent service. We were very pleased to see veal on the menu and all of the food we had was delicious. We started with carpaccio with a very tasty cream sauce. We then ordered the veal chop and the papardelle with wild boar ragu. We certainly didn’t leave hungry. We will be back the next time we are in town.

I’ll start by saying that the food is delicious and the best meal we had during our 4 night stay in Paso. Our server, Chrystal, was helpful and spot on. The two of us shared the Caprese and it was fresh and perfect for the season. I had the Bronzino which was cooked perfectly, and my partner raved over the Salsiccua pasta dish, and he’s not a raving type. His first bite got a wow out of him. We will definitely be back.

I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and Rack of Lamb. The service was friendly and helpful, both at front of house and in the dining room. The food was cooked to perfection. I cannot imagine visiting Paso Robles and not dining here. It’s a must.
