Il Cortile Ristorante
Friends gathering in CA and celebrating a birthday. Everything about this restaurant is lovely and the food is delicious - homemade pastas and ossa buca!
Really a disappointment. This was our second visit, but it did not live up to the first visit and our expectations. The sea bass special was over cooked and the pastas we mediocre. Cocktails were good.
We shall consider a return visit.
Terrific food and nice ambiance!!
Knowledgeable staff and excellent menu.
Well priced, too!!
Second visit and we were not disappointed! Great food and very attentive service in a setting that is relaxing and enjoyable. The food is so good!
Sat outside...nice layout, attentive and knowledgeable waiter. Entrees were done perfectly and priced competitively. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Been many times. Always impressed with the food and the wine choice is very nice...
Always great food and service
Wanted to enjoy a dinner with friends. Unfortunately, it was a bit rushed due to full booking. But we appreciated the service staff accommodating us.
Terrible service and food. Disappointing since all the reviews were so good.
Our dinner was wonderful. Tyler was our waiter, and he’s very knowledgeable about the menu. I took his recommendation on the sweet corn ravioli, & it was delicious. My husband had the sea bass, & enjoyed it immensely. The tiramisu was very light, and a perfect way to end the meal. I’d had my share of wine at the tasting rooms, so I had an Aperol spritz. It was refreshing, with just a hint of the expected bitterness. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Paso Robles.
Wonderful service, interesting and fabulous menu, it couldn’t have been better.
We had an amazing Italian dinner. Good ambience and great service. The bartender was very friendly. We had a lovely time.
Our dinner was all we expected. It was our second time dining there and it did not disappoint. The grilled octopus was delicious. The best we’ve ever had. The veal was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, courteous and right on top with attention. Even though we don’t live in the area it is undoubtedly one of our favorite restaurants.
As always a fabulous meal with fabulous service. We are very fortunate to have Il Cortile in our town!
The waiter and I got off on the wrong foot which colored the whole experience. Some of it I definitely deserve some responsibility but the attitude of the server did not help. The food was adequate with very few vegetarian options. If I lived there, I would probably find somewhere else.
We don't care for the European-style dining experience which puts us in very close proximity to other patrons, so close that we found it prohibited free exchange of conversation. Apart from that, the food was fine, and the experience overall wouldn't inhibit us from returning.
Great welcome upon arrival and terrific table service. Pastas absolutely delicious. We made another reservation for when we are next in town . can't wait!
It's to find better qualty of food and ahigher art of cooking that at Al Mulino. The grilled octopus is the best I've had outside of Greece. The pastas are plate-licking delicious. The only reason I don't give this a fivei star review because the tables set for four are too small to accomodate all the place settings comfortably. Other thn that, superaltive all the way.
Went to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely perfect!
We enjoyed our meal. We had two excellent starters, scallops and quail. Presentation and taste were both impeccable. We both chose the Chilean sea bass special, which was not at all like the European sea bass we are used to, but Patagonian tooth fish. It was delicious, although one was slightly over charred. The heritage carrots which accompanied the fish were good, and I usually hate carrots. We were slightly disappointed by the lemon tart, which was a little stodgy and too sweet. As you would expect in Paso Robles, the choice of wine was good, and included many European as well as American wines. We enjoyed our glass of Hearst Ranch wine.
Visit Paso Robles 4 times/year and dine at El Cortile every time!!
Great atmosphere for a special evening out! Excellent service and food options. We will definitely return.
Had a wonderful dinner at Il Cortile with friends. Service and food were excellent. My only disappointments was that there weren't more good inexpensive wine options.
It's always a pleasure heading back to Paso Robles, in that I know a fantastic dinner will await me at Il Cortile. The mainstay pasta dishes and entrees are reason enough to salivate - and then come a few specials. The staff is warm, attentive and knowledgeable.
Outstanding as always, medium sized portions. We split a starter, an entree and dessert. The best of Paso
Back after 3 years and it was absolutely splendid. I could not recommend this place more if you are in Paso Robles. We came here 3 years ago for our anniversary and did it again this year. Vanessa was absolutely incredible - her service, kindness, quality of recommendations and heart are what made our time even better. For food we had the scallops (must have) a MP salad with shaved Parmesan (excellent and fresh), the lamb chops for main (8.5/10 as they had way too much fat - older animal), and MP seafood pasta which was a 10/10.
Excellent drinks. Porto Wine (Clemintine?) was AMAZING!!! Thank you!!!
Always great food, wine list and service. Highly recommended!
Wonderful place with great food and great service.
The best food in Paso Robles with excellent wait staff.
We had reservations for dinner on a Monday evening and had to wait 20 minutes for our table. The food was worth the wait. My Beef Carpaccio starter was unique with a velvety sauce and very good. My HH had the Pan Roasted Quail starter which was excellent. Our entrees of Papardelle Vitello and a special Chilean Sea Bass were both delicious. The Cannoli and Panna Cota desserts were wonderful as well. Our server was great and made sure my food was Gluten Free.
We were there to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We have been to your restaurant several times in the past. We both had a pasta dish and they were just ok. Our server was polite but didn't go out of his way or show much in the way of personality as I would expect. So we were a little underwhelmed with our experience.
Amazing food and service. The risotto was the best that I have ever tasted and the Oslo Bucco was fantastic. This restaurant gives Napa and Sonoma a run for their money. Can’t wait to go back.
Authentic Italian cuisine. The grilled octopus appetizer, parpadelle with wild boar, and spaghetti with seafood and bottarga were all delightful. Excellent wine list including many outstanding Paso wines, and good selections by the glass as well.
This is my second time to this restaurant and first for the rest of our party of 10. Everyone loved their meal and the wine was fantastic. Excellent service and we will return soon.
The best dinner in Paso Robles. Amazing Italian food.
Everything was fantastic. Thaw food, the Waiter and the restaurant.
No place better in Paso Robles!
Second time here, had to have the Octopus appetizer again. Did not disappoint! We both had the specials, sea bass, and seafood pasta. Delicious
Excellent, as usual. The special of the day, osso buco, was excellent. My wife had the Chilean sea bass which she also raved about. Dessert, wine, and all is good.
It was a special occasion but last year they ignored it so didn’t mention
