The Parmesan Risotto with shaved black truffles was amazing. The Wild Boar Papardelle was excellent. The spaghetti with shrimp and scallops was beautiful. The beer and hard liquor choices were not Italian and basically terrible. The wine list was okay. They made the best of the Current situation seating wise but it wasn’t ideal. Service was good.

My wife and I dined here on Sat night (we had a reservation) and it was a very nice date night. We ate outside because of Covid indoor restrictions. Our server was quick to greet us and brought us water. We ordered a bottle of Paso white - we always support local wineries. After pouring over the menu, we decided on the Carpaccio Tartufo as an appetizer and it was delicious. We then ordered some local glasses of red to go with our dinner. We split an order of the Pappardelle al Cinghiale, for our Primi course. I couldn't detect much flavor from the boar but the pasta was soo thin and absolutely perfect. The Ragu sauce was full of flavor as well! For our Secondi course, she ordered the Oso Bucco with risotto(special) and I had the ribeye. Both were well prepared and cooked to perfection. Finally we split an order of Tiramisu with a "good" coffee. In summary, this is a special place to bring a date and enjoy a fine dining experience. I highly recommend this place if you are seeking a special evening.

We dined out on their patio. The service was excellent as was each dish. The drinks were great as well
I started with veal pappardelle. Sensational
Then a large pork chop with mushrooms a real treat for the taste buds

My wife gad the salmon. Great too

The service was excellent. Our waiter a real
Professional. From back East and loves Paso

Under the circumstances we could not complain. Of course we dined outside but they made it very comfortable for us. The entire experience was wonderful. We both had the wild boar raguot and it was delicious especially with the wine our server recommended. We will visit the next time we are in Paso. Best dinner yet in Paso.

Amazing!!!! Our waitress was awesome and the food was to die for! Must get the halibut, filet and bistec with olive oil. My husband and I went to Italy last year and this restaurant is pretty close to Italy food!! We will be back again!

Excellent food! The beef carpaccio and the wild boar pappardelle were amazing. Unfortunately the service lacked a bit but it looked like one guy was serving the entire restaurant.

We had a great dining experience at Il Cortile Ristorante. We had the octopus and scallop appetizers, and both were excellent. I had the halibut as my entree and my husband had the pork osso bucco. We had the panacotta for dessert. Everything was delicious, we will definitely be back.

Warning that in the summer Paso Robles can run in the 90s. If, like us, you are not comfortable dining inside during COVID-19, they will seat you on the nice patio in front, but it is hotter than blazes out there. We noticed staff walking around the corner during our meal, and once we were done an paid wandered around the side of the building to discover there is a beautiful, widely space, shady, cool patio, technically located behind the hotel next door, where Il Cortile is serving patrons. It was half empty and I really WISH we have been offered that option, it would have made dinner much more pleasant temperature wise (and we would have been better distanced from fellow diners). But that said, the appetizers were terrific - loved the scallops and the octopus. I had the arugula/shaved fennel salad as a main, and my husband enjoyed the pork osso bucco. Nice drinks, delightful food, and excellent service.

This is our go-to place for special occasions. The food is always outstanding and the service is impeccable. We usually order appetizers and pastas, but this night wanted an entree to share, also. The appetizers (crostini, octopus), pastas (ravioli and pappardelle) were all outstanding. Our entree was the lamb medallions, and although the taste was delicious, we were a bit disappointed in the size of the entree for $40. Although we each got to have a 1 1/2" medallion and some nicely cooked vegetables, we feel this dish was overpriced. We will continue to dine here, but will stick to ordering appetizers and pastas, or the pork shank which is a more ample entree.

Sat on the patio on a warm summer eve. Luckily the breeze was enough to keep us comfortable. Food as always was spot on. Server was attentive and offered some great suggestions. Paso is blessed to have such a lovely dining establishment.

I never write reviews and I decided to write one for this place. My boyfriend reserve this place 2-3 weeks in advance. Lots of our friends and family highly recommended this place and we decided to celebrate and reserve the evening of July 4th (rsvp 8:30pm). They received highly rated reviews on news articles and received plaque that were shown inside their restaurants. And I couldn't agree more, their food was sensational!!! Way better Italian restaurant than in Los Angeles. I had to give them a 3 1/2 stars due to their service. I feel food and service goes hand in hand and if you can not provide good service, it kind of ruin the ambiance and the enjoyment of the dinning experience. I do not recall the woman's name but she only helped us from the time she took our order, serve our appetizers and main course and the end to collect our plates and check. She did not even check in on us through out our dinning. I was watching her and notice she selectively and very attentively waited on other tables except for ours. I can not help but to wonder 1. if she did not waited on us because I am Asian (my bf is not) OR 2. she did not wait on us due to social class (by the way we dressed very presentable especially the place is not casual atmosphere). Only the Mgr (I think) and the other waitress checked in on us twice but not our main waitress. This is bad for the restaurant, she is the front person that represent the place, which says a lot. She also made a remark that was inappropriate. We decline dessert, because we were full and right after we decline, she said "would you like a bag for your Togo boxes, that we can give to you for free". Very unnecessary. Again the food is amazing! If you do not care for proper service, then YES go to enjoy the food. If you do care, then I hope you do not have this lady as your server. Would I recommend this to a friend: it is a 50/50 for me

We had an amazing dinner in our visit to Paso Robles. Service was excellent and the food was exquisite. If you like truffle, a must is the Truffle Risotto. The scallops appetizer was amazing as were the mains, Halibut and Pork Ossobuco.

Food is consistently excellent. Il Cortille is our "go to" restaurant for special occasions. We shared an appetizer course of Truffled Risoto that was absolutely outstanding. The wine list by glass or bottle is extensive to be paired with the Italian cuisine. Staff were excellent and we were very happy with all aspects of our evening.

Everytime we'r have dinged at Il Cortile the food had been excellent & the wait staff attentive but not hovering. The only thing that detracted from the ambience during this visit was the need foe everyone to wear masks due to COVID-19. The tables were far enough apart that we were comfortable dining inside.

The food and service were excellent. We had the grilled octopus, risotto with black truffles, and the halibut (which I believe was a special). I would highly recommend this restaurant for couples, but anyone would enjoy it.

Ivan was a phenomenal server, and the food was cooked perfectly across the board. Presentation of dishes was excellent. Wine list we’ll represented.
