Very romantic and very tasteful food. Servers were excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful. My only complaint is we were sat towards the back of the restaurant away from all the beautiful decorations. However a good plus from this was it was more private. Overall the food has me already wanting to visit little Italy again

I hate to say negative things because I believe people are generally doing their best. The service was very good - even the maitre d' was very accommodating - but the food was mediocre at best. I can't imagine who thought the food here was 4.5 stars. Maybe 3 stars but even that would be a stretch. And it was pricey. I normally don't write reviews but expensive and mediocre food is exactly the problem with Little Italy tourist traps. I wanted to like this place but what a disappointment. If it weren't for good service the score would have been a 1.

Dining was a great experience here. Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was rest. We were seated at a sweet table at the window and even bought the pic taken by the in house photographer. All in all a good dining experience.

The ambiance, food and service are top notch. Very organized and efficient team, always someone available to help you. Somehow they have cultivated both an upscale and family atmosphere at the same time. Loved it!

Went to dinner last night. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for the holiday and the staff was great. I've been to Il Cortile in the past and I found the food to be not as good as in the past, I do understand it is the holiday season, and with the restaurant being packed, but I found some appetizers to be over breaded and the sauce to be very spicy. We were seated towards the front of the restaurant and every time someone walked it, we got a draft. Overall, we had a great night, but a few slight changes could of made it better.

I had the worst possible experience at this place. The server was very rude and chauvinistic. I border line felt he was racist. The food quality was very poor and very overhyped, probably because the decor was very Christmasy. We had told the server we wanted tiramisu for dessert when we ordered entrees because the kitchen was closing, and when it was time to give us the dessert, the server very casually said tiramisu is sold out, despite letting him know 45 mins before this time. I strongly suggest not going here as the place is so not worth it and I strongly condemn such service.

Although packed the front end staff seated is relatively quickly. Waiters are extremely attentive, polite and have a sense of humour. The food came out quickly and was hot. A great menu selection. A+ ambiance.
