Dinner with friends. Great options for comfort food to good healthy clean eating. The sea bass special was delicious. I will say I was jealous of the lasagne served my friend. She said it was the best she had enjoyed in a long time. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Il Corso is the type of restaurant that I always look for, but rarely find. The space is small, but comfortable and not noisy. The food is traditional and well prepared. The service is warm and excellent and the cost is very reasonable by the standards of Mid-town.

We have dined here many times when visiting NYC and always have been completely satisfied. Our Butler from the St. Regis recommend Il Corso to us several years ago. We will be back!

Délicieuse cuisine italienne.
Restaurant plus proche de la trattoria que du restaurant.
Addition assez salée mais c est vraiment très bon.

Food was good but not great. Prices were very fair. Portions were on the smaller side for an Italian spot. Waiter was very good and came around often to make sure everything was good.

Nice atmosphere, but the food was disappointing. I expected really great Italian. My Italian stepdaughter was not impressed either! 😐 had a nice Italian wine though.

Local favorite. Had seafood (clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp) over pasta—excellent! Wife had ravioli. Salads were fresh and tasty. Attentive, friendly staff. Nice wines. Always a stop while in New York.

Great little gem - we searched for a restaurant near the Warwick Hotel, and once we narrowed our tastes down to Italian, Il Corso and one other made the final two, but ultimately, we chose Il Corso based on recommendations from friends who live in the City. It's a quaint, authentic Italian restaurant - wonderful specials and a surprisingly large wine list. They had a duck salad appetizer that was great, and had everything you'd want, from pasta to veal to salmon on the menu. My wife and I split the aforementioned salad - she's not a fan of duck, but liked all the other ingredients - I liked the duck. Then, she had a chicken dish - it wasn't chicken parm, but it would be close to it. I had the salmon - it was excellent. We also wanted to try a pasta, and since they sell by the half dish and had gluten free, we fit it into our meal and had a great pasta with a cream sauce. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and a flan, with a triple espresso.
The waitstaff was very friendly, all knowledgeable about the menu, meal preparation and the wine list.
We'll definitely be back.

Food good. Seated only 30 minutes after reservation and thenby the door/ standing area. There is inadequate standing space for those waiting as they have jammed in too many tables and are overtrading. Destroys ambience of an otherwise good resteraunt.
Staff tried hard to compensate but I want a good meal at the right time not free drinks and desserts.

The place was amazing from top notch service to most delicious course meals. Being a small place makes it very cozy. Excellent place for business dinners, and special occasions.

My old stand by in NYC closed, so I tried Il Corso based on Trip Advisor reviews. Upon entering, you can see it is a tiny space. Our table was right against the hostess stand and you can hear your neighbor's conversation. It also gets drafty when the doors open and close. The food is outstanding. All the pastas are homemade. I am from Italy and I am very critical of Italian restaurants. Il Corso does not disappoint. The service is lovely and attentive. I can't stop thinking about the flavors and hope to return next month when I am in the city again. Do not hesitate to go here. 5 stars all the way.

We chose to go to Il Corso before seeing Wicked on a Friday night and we are SO glad that we did. The food was amazing!! I cannot say enough about it. We shared the buffalo mozzerella appetizer and we all loved it. I ordered the cacio y pepe for my entree and it was so fresh and delicious. I just visited Italy in August and I felt like I was back in Italy while eating here. The service was also amazing. If you are seeing a show I HIGHLY recommend eating here before.

Overall good food- very nice staff. the veal milanese was pan fried and kinda greasy--which was a downer- worst I have ever had at a legitimate Italian establishment. bottom line- based upon our meals, i'd say one can do better, esp for the price. Sorry to say this since the staff were super nice.

Gnocchi was excellent but Osso bucco disappointing - not particularly flavorful or tender.

As a single diner vs. a larger party, I felt like a bit of an afterthought for much of the evening.

We were seated in a ind of hallway next to the service station. Lots of people walked by on way to bathroom. Waiter not attentive. Food good. The atmosphere wasn't welcoming. Wouldn't return. Pricey. I feel there shouldn't be any bad tables at a restaurant. Some may be preferable, but shouldn't have bad ones. We got a bad one.

Nice and interesting options...traditional as well as creative ones. Avocado and artichoke salad was of the interesting sort. Very nice. Cacio e Pepe should be traditional...but served in a crispy Parmesan bowl. Bit like a Taco Bell salad. Jury is out on that one. Pleasant service.

Good, but slow service. After the first course, the wait for the second was much too long, and the food arrived barely warm, indicating poor kitchen management. The food was quite good, and the risotto even better than that. But the fried gnocchi is an ill conceived dish, poorly executed ( the roux base for the sauce was allowed to cook too long and was bitter from burning). Good wine list.
