   We enjoyed another great meal and 2 bottles of wine. The veal here is excellent. Only critic is maybe pound it a little thinner. Add less EVOO. Service is always excellent here. I would highly recommend.

   A neighborhood favorite. Met friends here many times. The Sfizi (Italian tapas) and the cocktails keep us coming back. Thankfully most of the main courses are offered in half portions if you overdo it on the Sfizi.

   Met some high school friends sat nite for a catch up dinner. Labor Day weekend so restaurant wasn’t busy which was nice. Waitress great . I ordered the special a pasta chicken dish. It was only warm and had no chicken in it only pasta and a cream sauce. My friends got the chicken saltenboca and chicken Marsala . Both dishes loken better than mine and had actually had chicken on the plate. Dessert was highlight tiramisu. My special was the most expensive entree 30.00. Wasn’t a 30.00 meal at all. I wouldn’t go back for diner. Drinks and dessert were the best.

   The food was sub par for what we expected. We tried this place twice. Will not come here again. Our server was excellent. This determination is purely based on the food quality.

   We think of Il Casale as a special occasion place. But on our last night of vacation, and at the last minute decided to go since we were seeing a movie nearby. It reminded me that we should not just think of Il Casale for special dates. We had an exquisite meal. I ordered the broccolini salad, and Dan, our server suggested adding chicken. It was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the pepper crema. The bruschetta was brimming with fresh tomatoes--tasted like summer. The pasta dish was light and delicious. And the tiramisu is the best. Great wine choices too. Dan was attentive, well informed, and cared about every detail--he made a casual Monday night meal into an experience to remember. Can't say enough about this gem, in both Lexington and Belmont. Thank you Dan, and to the true chefs in the kitchen.

   Expensive but delicious food. An appetizer and a half order of pasta can be a full dinner.

   Very mediocre Italian food. We ate outside last Friday evening. Weather was nice and the ambiance was great. We started with the bruscheta, which was the highlight of the evening (from a food perspective). My wife ordered the eggplant parm and it was not very good. The dish is made typically 24-48 hours prior to serving (that's what we were told by our waiter) and it tasted it. Not crispy, more mushy. I had the salmon and the sauce wasn't great either.... We've enjoyed the Belmont restaurant and thought we'd give this a try, but we won't be going back so soon...

   Nice local option. Slow service for a weeknight. Half portions better value than full portions.
