   The best drink was the Manhattan just thinking about it I want to go back and have another one 👍👍 Also the food was ok I go a steak with mushroom and my wife got pasta and she wasn’t crazy for it because the sauce on top was too tick and but we had a good time also the waitress was really pleasant and friendly. Thank you 🙏

   Il Casale - Lexington is one of the few fine dining restaurants in Metrowest Boston. The food, primarily Italian in focus, is very good. The service is very good. However, when the restaurant is packed, it is difficult to navigate and is very noisy to try and hold a conversation.

   Overpriced for good but not great food. There were of us for a causal night out. One otter of wine ; we all split an app and dessert. Each ordered entrees. Bill was $72 each with tip. Pretty steep for a casual night out.

   Nice restaurant for a business dinner in alternative location. For out of town guests Lexington is a differentiated experience from cookie cutter dinners in Burlington or Waltham and pragmatically close by

    Il Casale is a decent place to eat. Everything is done reasonably well, but if you are expecting wonderful you will be disappointed. On the plus side, their portions are large. On the minus side nobody at our table loved anything we ordered.

    Valentine’s Day fixed menu was great and they were able to work around my dairy allergy. My food was amazing and my blood orange sorbet dessert was special since it was not the valentines menu dessert. Very attentive server, great ambiance and wonderful food. Special cocktails were amazing as well!

    The restaurant was very accommodating to our wishes. It was Valentine’s Day and it was very busy. We weren’t thrilled with our seats so we asked if we could be moved. Without hesitation the manager moved us and we were grateful. It was a prix fixed menu and their offerings were delicious. My only negative (however no big deal) was the soup could have been served hotter.

    A wonderful dining experience. Food was delicious and the service was perfect. We were especially delighted with the burrata anti-pasta dish. We visited on a Sunday evening when a marvelous jazz trio was playing in the background. Not intrusive and the music added greatly to the ambiance of the beautiful space. Tables are well spaced. In our book, this is a 5-star experience.

    The appetizers especially the fried artichokes were delicious, likewise the pasta with lamb, but my pasta with clams was overloaded with parsley and had very little flavor ( also pasta was too al dente). The wine list is very expensive, and the single pours small. Our waitress, Lucia, was great, and the table as per our request was quiet.

    Steak massively overcooked. Burnt really on one side. Cauliflower seemed to be last night’s serving. Had it before and it was delicious. Not this time though. Big fan of restaurant but this was not a good dinner.

    This was our first time dining at II Casale and we were very happy. We had a reservation and were greeted by their friendly staff upon our arrival and seated right away. There were plenty of traditional Italian meals to choose from and three unique Specials. The waitress was very helpful with the wine selection and our meals were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We will definitely return when in the area to try some other menu choices.

    I was disappointed in my meal this time. I ordered the 1/2 portion of eggplant parm and it was too well done and black around two edges which I had to cut off. Another order of this at our table looked perfectly cooked — I didn’t want to send it back as everyone had their meal already and we had shared many apps — which were delish — especially the crispy calamari. Our servers were wonderful and filled up our water as soon as one of us had a near empty glass.

    Very good service, Lucia was lovely. The “special” chicken breast was actually a thigh and, with six green beans and a handful of mushrooms, it was an embarrassingly small meal to be served as the evening’s special. Second visit. Not likely to make a third.

    They have a lovely menu and really nice, informed servers. My only complaint is that I ordered gluten free pasta and did not get it. I asked as it was delivered and they acknowledged they had forgotten to put in my order correctly, provided a replacement that was gluten free and comped me the meal. So although this is the SECOND time this has happened at this restaurant, I appreciate their gracious response. So I will go again, all of our meals were delicious.

    The service was incredibly timely and friendly. The atmosphere was intimate and yet lively. We ordered the spaghetti with clams and the shrimp spaghetti special that expertly prepared. We finished with the mini cinnamon cannolis. Overall a perfect experience.

    Overpriced and very average food. Fairly decent service but if you’re charging $25 for a past dish one would think your food would be delicious and service spectacular. Save your time and money and go to the north end.

    Food was amazing! I made a reservation for 4 for 8:45 on Christmas Eve. The table was not ready when we arrived on time - it was empty, but had to be set. No problem. We waited about 10 minutes and the hostess started to bring us to the table - oops, not ready yet. We waited another 5 minutes - fine, we weren't in a rush. As we are seated the hostess tells us that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes so better order right away. It didn't make for a very good start to our special Christmas Eve dinner. I expressed my concern to the waitress and she said not to worry - it was fine in the end and the meal and wine was delicious.

    This was an extremely underwhelming experience... to put it mildly. There was a terrible draft coming through the window we were seated next to so we were frozen the entire meal. The waitress was harried and took forever to do anything. My pasta was al dente to the extreme of being inedible. When the waitress took our plates, mine was pretty much untouched. She never even bothered to ask if there was a problem. Overall, disappointing experience. The food was way overpriced. Won’t be going back.

    It was a bit noisy , for they were quite busy with a lot of people going to the show at Carey Hall. Food was delicious between the grilled octopus that my wife and I had shared , and the fried calamari was a real treat as well. Drinks are superb Katie is a dynamite bartender , and she helps out with taking orders . I had gotten a steak that would absolutely melt in your mouth ,came with truffle fries which to date are still one of my favorites ... my wife had a chicken dish can not remember if it was piccata . But it was moist and very delicious . With drinks and food it can get pricey , but frugal people can get a bang for their buck too. I had the tiramisu in the past which was outstanding , but this time I got the gelato , smooth creamy , just a real tasty treat ! Simply yum. ....

    Our family of eight really enjoy dining at the large table in the back. I regretted that your bread wasn’t as fresh as I had sampled other times. It is still delicious. Would it be better mid week? The saffron scallop risotto was very good. The panna cotta dessert was not as flavorful as I expected and the balsamic should’ve been a little sweeter to accompany this or less of it on the plate. I will not order this again. The servers were kind and considerate.
